I read online that season 5 was gonna be the end and the plot line was basically, ryan retires, mack gets his own team, jonas can no longer go on missions because of medical reasons, so mack has to break into the computer system and alter his medical records so jonas can go on one last extended mission with the team. Thats all I read guys sorry:( Great show its sad to realize its gone
I had mixed emotions when this song was played. I was happy for Grey when he got married. However, I was heartbroken when Molly left Jonas. I will always remember The Unit because of this song.
poor jonas at the end of the series without molly, looked so lonely. looks empty without her. but still looks like he will manage and looks strong! suprised ryan wasnt at the wedding
@cop2296 After all the things Ryan did, I don't think anyone would have wanted him there. Besides, when he got promoted, It happened at the same time the weadding kicked off. As for Molly and Jonas, I was crushed to see Molly leave him. They were such an enduring couple.

Thats awesome!!! i cant wait to see that!! Honestly, i love both shows equally. They are that good in my opinion, that i just cant pick a favorite out of the two. And there definately are the real life comparisons to the fictional charachters, but no one but their command will ever know.
Sadly I never watched the unit while it was on the air. I did end up buying the series afterwards though because I found a really good deal on it. Having said that, I have watched the complete series probably 10 times since. This is one show that they should have left on!

However, I'll drop The Good Wife in a heart beat if the producers produced a Season 5 of The Unit! On another note: Who watches Grey's Anatomy? Well, Scott Foley is on the show as a sickly character :( It breaks my heart to see Bob Brown so WEAK!
@latricerone11 i agree with you!! those are the same questions i asked myself at the conclusion of this epic show. its unfortunate how they left it. I was pretty bummed when jonas was at the wedding by himself while molly walked away from the apartment. way too much is left unanswered.
@latricerone11 thats treu. but i think the only way it would work is for him to have left. molly made it clear. so in a way, its better they ended it the way the did. i remember in 07 i never heard of it till i watched it in iraq. then i get hooked haha
@aaronragan1987 First of "Thank you for serving our country" (assuming that was what you were doing in Iraq)! 2ndly, I can SOOO see Jonas leaving and Mac heading up The Unit...OR I can see Jonas as the Col. while the Col leaves and be with his wife.
@latricerone11 Thank you for your support of our troops. The support from Americans like you is what makes it all worth while. And yes, i could see Mac running it, but Jonas would have to leave unfortunately. And in my opinion, He's what makes the unit what it is. Its nice to think about it in terms of where could they go with it and how they could continue, but after awhile, the story i think would just become too drawn out and some people would probably lose interest.

Even with the Bob Brown character only been in the unit for a couple of years could have a major impact on the direction they go. Now, Jack Bauer is my hero! I like to think that there are people like Him out there. Keeping America same no matter the cost to themselves. That is what i think the core of a true American is. I heard a rumor they were making a 24 movie and i for one am very excited.
@aaronragan1987 Oh Aaron! That is no rumor! Google it...Summer 2012! I'll be there! That's how I got put onto TU because Pres. Palmer was killed off and I was like NOOOO! My husband goes...well Pres. Palmer is on another BETTER show...better than 24! I was like "Nope, can't be better than 24!" Sure enough...TU is very comparable...maybe better! What do you think? I also like to think there are real live Jackie B's in the house :) The same with Snake Doc, Dirt Divers and Cool Breezes!
the thing i love abt the show,is that when theyre on a mission somewhere,usualy they do shoot on location or somewhere alike.unlike shows like 'Alias' for instance they state it its in hongkong and put clips of the city's ariel view on the beginning,bt then cut into a nightclub or a studio where they put asian actors in it and pretend like theyre in a club in hongkong.i notice this on most other shows as well.but i see The Unit really does shoot on location all over the world.

@Eliotzo - i agree and same here about the last episode - i even saw online somewhere that they wrote the 5th season but that 'Medium' took its place - I dont know where it was but it was basically that Mack becomes leader, Jonas cant stay in for medical reasons but that Mack keeps on cheating the army so that Jonas can stay in! Hope that makes you less depressed :) but it makes me more knowing that they did the hardest bit!! Cheers

@latricerone11 No I've been a member...just never posted anything! I also love military dramas! Can't get enough of them! I now watch "Surviving the Cut" on the Military Channel! Great documentary on real life special forces training. You'll love it!
@hab1b1 you know what, i didn't look at the end in a "SAD" way...i just happen to watch this episode recently...if you have a chance to see it, notice how, yes at first, it seems like Jonas was sad, but he kind of had a "cat that ate the mouse smile." like he knew what the sacrifices were and he was content with them...like yes it's possible for everything to go wrong, for something better...i don't know, i just have a weird way of looking at things...BUT GREAT SHOW AND SONG....
They need to continue the season so Jonas can get his wife back!!

I'm so disappointed this show has been cancelled! I can't get this song from off repeat! Reasons why we need this show back:
-Gotta know the full story with Col Ryan's failed assassination plot (was he a young unit member when this happened or was he the Col)
-Will Col Ryan stay or "look in the mirror"
-Will Jonas reach out to Molly
-Will Mack & Tiffy move to Kansas and move into his aunt's house (P.S what did the lady who stole the baby ask Mack to make him cry)
