For regular o's theres many tricks

1)You can enlarge your mouth and then close it to make a perfect "o" shape to make an O shoot out (Think thats what he does since its not that thick)

2)If you want a really thick smoke ring practice making your mouth into a big "O" and then give a little cough in the back fo your throat and it'll shoot out.

For those fast "O's" that he did simple make your mouth into a small o or a big O and press your cheek with your index finger repeadetly.
