  • Id have like 50 pounds of shit in my pants

  • The ed gein case doenst like very similar to this story, Great movie tough

  • @drinkexport The only thing that isn't similar is he didn't use a chainsaw

  • @drinkexport Why does everyone always have to bring up Ed gein.

  • I watched this movie for the first time yesterday and I didn't find it scary at all, just fucking gruesome and brutal. I think the director was more interested in testing people with the amount of gore and torture instead of scaring us with mind games and tricks. I nearly threw up about three times haha...

  • The original one is the scary one.

  • ima 15 teenaged girl.. and i didnt find it scary at all.. i just found it jumpy when that crazy man starts sawing people. i find it soo jokes espesh when they push the fat lady up to the door and screams her head off ROFLROFL PWN

  • @walkingmirror22 im exactly like you but this movie is for me not scary. if you really want and horrifying movie you should watch japanese horror movies.

  • @walkingmirror22 U WOULD FIND IT SCARY IF IT WAS HAPPENING TO YOU HO

  • @thecolororangeee If it ever happened in the first place. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre never happened. The original 1973 film was very loosely based off a psychotic Wisconsoin farmer named Ed Gein who killed 2 women and skinned them.

  • There was a guy that lived on the like 1920 he took peaple home to him and he made furniture of there skin and he even made a Pillowcover of Nipples This is what inspired all the horror classics Freddy Jason Texas Chainsaw massacre. The horreble mans Name was Ed Gain And he almost never lied when he had killed a girl peaple started to ask where she was and he said honestly she at my place but noone understanded that she was dead. I luv all the texas chainsaw massacre movies

  • i heard it was based on a true story

  • Return of the Living dead was true as well, they even said so in the beginning of the movie. But I doubt any of you will watch it.........

OF COURSE IT'S FAKE it's just part of the entertainment to say it's a true story, they only say it's true because the killer was based off of ed gein.

  • amen

  • the chainsaw massacre actchually was true go on a news page and type it in... or sumin he got elecricuted tho n died its was true check some were......

  • u guys need to learn how to read. it says INSPIRED by a true story. its INSPIRED by ed gein. serial killer from the 50's

  • don't forget to tell the how to spell haha look at that comment from Gsdundhal08. People are just stupid these days.

  • hahaha indeed. lol

  • it was inspierd by a true story........Ed Gein.....was the story it was inspired by

  • that would be close but micheal might only just manege to kill him but hat is just my apinion

  • FAKE! LOOK IT UP ON GOOGLE!

  • This was an awesome movie indeed,

but what they need to do now is make

a movie flick with Leatherface fighting

Michael Myers, I really want that to happen.

  • this is such a awsome movie!!

  • the movie pisses me off. i would takes names on all of those people. they are so fuking sick and disturbed. fuck them. also i think that movie was pointless even though it was based on a true story.

  • what r u talking about this movie that is based on a true story is scary as hell

  • sure its scary but it is indeed somewhat pointless

  • It's not actually a true story. They say that so the movie appears scarier.

  • the only untrue part about this movie is leather-face. there really was a family of cannibals in Texas who killed people passing by. however, the only part of the chainsaw that is true is that after they were dead, they cut their bodies up so the meat would be smaller and easier to cook.

  • true story bitch,

  • it was INSPIRED by a true story, wich means they put in some extra stuff.

  • they say based on a true story because they take the base of a true story but some things are probably way over done in the movie

  • saw this movie today. I thought it would be worse...however let see if I get any nightmares tonight..

  • This movie is really disturbing....(in a scary way)

  • freikin scary

  • keep clicking the button on the bar at 00.24 right hen leatherface lashes with the hammer.

  • lol man he was a real killer along time ago.. it was like real i was like scared my pants off..

  • no he was fake they said it was real just to get more of a population of sick minded freaks to watch it lol.... just kidding but leatherfacec was based upon a man named edward gein or sumthin...

  • and edward (mostly called just Ed) was more like a ghoul, he dint kill so many people. but he digged up several copses to make items of the bodyes. mostly woman corpses..

  • that is sick. so how long did this go on?

  • Actually i dont know...you can read alot of him on Wykeppedia. did you know that his mother hit him? and that Ed is suspected of the murder of hes brother?

well I can guess that it took a long while before he was arrested becuse he was 50-70 year when he was arrested...

  • I am so sad for those poor teenagers! What did they do wrong? I find them completely innocent. Also, why does that sheriff have to be such a fucker?

  • @monika7550 its a movie sweetheart xD, the inspired event didnt even involved teens ^^

  • OMFG ITS TRUE BUT.... NOOOO!

  • AWSOME!!!!!!!

  • the scene at 0:24 where leatherface lashes at the camera isnt in the movie

  • TBh the only things that scare in scary movies are the Shocks and sudden things, not the blood guts nd stuff

  • Great ending where Leatherface is walking down the dark road leading to the beginning of the first movie.

  • wao

  • Its really scary!

  • what is the best of those movies?

  • Nowhere near as good as the original 1973 one.

  • I think you mean 1974. The original was released on October 1st 1974 in the USA.

Here are a list of release dates for different countries.

  • It was filmed in 1973, that's why refer to that year.

  • I just love this movie.......it scared me as fuck......most scary one from all serie.....it really is!!!

  • too all you dicks saying it aint scary

try picture your fucking self trapped in this place with a canible running around with a chainsaw and all your friend have been cut into 5 pieces

bet you dont feel so brave now u pussies

  • This Movie Was Not Scary I Watched it Wene I Was 7

  • aww damn, i didnt like this 1....i was really bored throughout the whole movie. and i like the TCM series.

  • To all the morons that say TCM is not scary, you would piss your panties twice if YOU were in that house.......

  • ohhhh imma see dat

  • Meh.

  • BOTH OF THE VERSION ARENT SCARY!

  • IM 11 AND THIS MOVIE ISNT SCARY!

  • yes a name like sweetpinky i am asuming yer a boi yer probs a wee bit of a poof

  • That's hot

  • no its is inspired on fact but this is not wut really happend its not based one its inspired on,all that happend was two teens were found dead and they were cut into pieces by a chainsaw

  • it was actually 5 teens

  • it is real cus dey get screwed by law 4 lyeing nd leatherface wudnt look dat bad

  • They wouldn't get "screwed by law" for "lyeing."

Movie makers can do pretty much whatever the fuck they want. They always say "based on a true story" even if it's only loosely baseasd on one or two facts.

Leatherface was inspired by Ed Gein. Yes, he did actually make a mask out of human flesh, and yes, he was a cannibal. Yes, people did vanish in his town and no one ever saw them alive again, and yes he did keep mutilated, decaying corpses in his house and around his farm.

  • actually i think he meant that the story is fake, so y did the narrator say "inspired by true events", its just loosely based on fact...

  • Fake!

  • stfu
