This game is actually one of the most balanced 2D fighters I've ever played, and I've been playing for a long time.

It's more balanced than either Super Turbo or Third Strike, anyone who says different doesn't know what they're talking about. Could still use revisions to make it more _fun_, but Sagat is nowhere near as overpowered as 3S chun and vega/fuerte are nowhere near as difficult to win with as sean or t. hawk.

I think the only think this game needs is some turbo. Apparently during development they made the gameplay really fast so they could judge how well it would play when slowed down. I'd like to see how fast they were testing it.

First of all I just plain liked the move and it suited him, it was very Ryu.

2nd it gives you more options and the light and medium species are great opening gambits.

I main Ryu in 3rd strike and I main Bison in ST.

This games ryu doesn't look to me to be the one i main, I won't main a character according to tier, that's what destroys 3rd strike.

Yeah, I think that's lame but at least he won't be ditched every time in the tourney scene for Ken, because Ken was superior in every way to Ryu in 3S. Now that projectiles are useful again in IV it makes Ryu a powerhouse again.

More then just the projectile, Ryu can play a SFII footsie like gameplan again. He also has over 8+ ways to land his Ultra in which Ken can only has about 3 that I can think off the top of my head.

Ryu does excellent damage off of regular combos and he has one of the BEST FA's in the game, you put all of this together and Ryu is significantly better then Ken.

However, Ryu has been the better of the two overall within the real SF series anyhow, so it comes as no surprise.
