  • Very helpful! Thanks homes

  • hey I did this to my glock 23 and when i put it together and function checked it, it seemed as if the trigger was actually heavier slightly. It defiantly springs forward more but im kinda concerned why it feels heavier. Please reply if you can! Thanks!

  • @mathnerdm Remember to put a drop of oil where the connector meets the trigger bar.

  • This was a fantastic video and a great help to me. I have wanted to do a complete detail strip and clean but was afraid I would mess up my firearm. Your video has enabled me to do that. Many THANKS!! One question is after you have it stripped down should you soak everything in a solution? What would that be or do you recommend a different method? Thanks again!!

  • Hey man, loved the video! Just a quick question for you, I stripped and reassembled my Gen4 19. After I've put it back together, the little tab that you click up with the punch (at about 2:18 in the video) is back in and seated, but it's not clicking back up when I push on it. I've function checked the gun with a snap cap and it's functioning well, but I'm a little worried about it not clicking up again. Any insight? Thanks in advance!

  • @foreverxcursed Rack the slide and then pull the slide back and you can push it up again, the gun is fine.

  • @humans4targets2 looks like we're good to go, thanks a ton!

  • @foreverxcursed Cool, glad you got it worked out

  • awsome. very well done... ive always wanted to know how to do this . theres 6 retards that vote this down?

  • I took apart my glock and I sprayed gun degreaser down the firing pin channel. I degreased the firing pin, extractor and plunger. Do I lube the channel or any parts before I reassemble?

  • @Mizzsekcnsweet Nope none at all..

  • Awsome!!! I cant believe you dont have millions of veiws!! Maybe you should shoot some explosives at the end of the video for pure Shock value, you know, for the ratings, kinnda like fps russia! but seriously, awsome naration and attention to detail. I still watch this video every time I detail strip my glock 17 just to make sure I do it right and dont fuck it up (yeah, im a noob). I think you need to do a 1911 detail strip, (if you havent already). I'v never done it, but have had people s

  • @dachipchipboiz Thanks man, glad it helped that is why I put this up. Have a good day.

  • Well done is better than well said....In this case it was well done and well said....

    Thanks....

  • Great video, thank you. On the striker assembly take note that the spring has two different ends. One end has one coil, and the other has another overlapping coil. The end with the overlapping coil goes against the striker sleeve, just like you have it. You can see the double coil tip of the spring at 30:12 in the video. Again, thank you for this quality video with excellent narration.

  • @guitarguru1969 You are very welcome

  • thanks for posting, great video and very informative :)

  • Awesome video dude. I've never Detail stripped my Glock 19 before, and this video made it a breeze.

  • Great video. Nicely done.

  • great video.. i can't for the life of me remove the slide after i got it back together.. the trigger isn't engaging correctly to dry fire.. any advice on how to get it back apart to see what i did wrong

  • @SuperJasonb75 Pull the slide back and remove the slide plate cover and take the firing pin out then let the slide go forward and it will come off.

  • I wish all gun videos were as detailed and comprehensive. No cuts or glossing over the gritty work at all. I installed an extended slide stop in faster than it takes me to field strip my Ruger MkII...

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you so much for this video. You did an excellent job of describing and showing the process.

  • thank you for taking the time to to share. After 5000 rounds give are take, and I have never had to take my glock down. just mild cleaning, But good to know. I was wondering what all was in that top half. Now I know if something ever false up there. What all to look for. Not much to it. I might go get a 3rd glock now.

  • Never mind, duh......you have the reassembly on it too.

  • Darn....just found the HD version of this after using the lower res versions.....nice...do you have a HD reassembly?

  • Thanks for taking the time to share such great info. I loved the 25 cent trigger job too

  • Hey Paul I found it!! lol thanks again man!

  • I cannot for the life of lord remove the trigger/slide stop pin from my gen 3 glock 19. What am I doing wrong?

  • @wallabing Wiggle the the slide stop up and down as ou push the pin out and it come out easy.

  • Awesome video! Thanks! The one part I really needed was how to take the trigger spring off of the trigger housing...argh!

  • The best online description of this process that I have found. Nicely done.

  • @andrelemalle Thanks a lot man

  • @humans4targets2. Great video!!!! I just picked up a G22 RTF and it is my first Glock. I am planning on putting a 3.5 lb connector, a 6 lb trigger spring, and an extended slide release on it. This video will be a great reference while I perform my mods. Thanks for the heads up regarding the extended mag release. Can you recommend a good connector?

  • Excellent Video. Added to Favorites.

    Many thanks.

  • @HighValueWarrior No problem!

  • Outstanding step by step Glock Strip. Well Done!

  • DEREK!!!!!!!!!

  • where can you get an OD Green Glock???

  • @TheGoodLife816 They can be hard to find now because Glock stopped making them, but there are lots of used one's around.

  • @humans4targets2 ohhh...I gotcha...I thought they still made them...I would have to search hard for one then :)

  • Very good video. I have seen other videos on striping Glocks but none as detailed. Thanks man.

  • my friend and i took his glock apart this far and it was a learning experience! those spring cups on the striker assembly are tricky but its do-able if you have the right instructions like this video.

    nice job

  • Bravo,Well done!

  • @campncook Thanks mate!

  • Great video, very detailed, even a complete beginner could follow this video. Video has great teaching value, Thanks Paul

  • Great video. As a fairly new gun owner I am always a little worried about taking a gun apart completely like this. With the glock I am fairly comfortable after seeing your video taking it apart to do a complete strip of the gun and possibly do any modifications. I will have to watch more video's to see if there are other gun strips that will get me more comfortable to do. Thanks again for doing videos like this.

  • Being a career 1911 guy, I found this video very interesting !

I have always immediately written off Glock because of how it feels in my hands. Now that the gen4 glock, Sig and HK have grip adjustment - i'm looking at all of them more closely.

Seeing the glock inner workings in HD was a great !

Thanks Paul for taking the time to share your knowledge with us.

    Bulwark1911 -

  • @TheArmoryGuild lol yeah I know what you mean, that one thing can stop the gun from going back together.

  • what is the trigger reset for?

  • im gonna get another gen4 19 or 23 tomm not sure yet but when i carried my glock 26 with a extended mag release it would fall in the floor of my car when i sit down i may just stick with factory one

  • IV NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE MORE TO IT THEN I THOUGHT GOOD JOB VERY WELL DONE

  • @3BabyMamas Thanks man

  • great vid paul. i just completely striped, cleaned, and reassembled my G23 and this was a big help.

  • @skifanatic18 Awesome man, glad it helped, thats what I made the video for.

  • Those cups are called keepers in the automotive industry.

  • @Luka464 On the glock they are called spring cups

  • Awesome detailed video

  • Very Nice video! Does anyone know what changes with the connector that makes the trigger pull lighter? Is it shorter or longer or what? For those of you that have changed the connector, are you happy with it?

  • @KingDavidM The material on the connector is slimmer from side to side and there is less contact with the trigger bar on it.

  • @humans4targets2 actually the angle of the end that engages the trigger bar is less then 45 degrees on the 3.5 lb connecter, 45 on the standard connecter, and greater then 45 on the 8 lb connecter

  • @KingDavidM The 3 1/2 pound disconnect is slightly shorter so it disconnects slightly sooner/lighter.

I just installed one on my 26, I love it. get one!

  • great vid dude, simple and to the point

  • Another great video keep em coming :-)

  • Great video, and nice HD, cheers.

  • Glock should pay you for doing this video

  • @TheHeartOfTheLion They could send me some 33 round mags lol

  • Excellent tutorial

  • @56CrownVick Thanks you

  • great vid. I might have to get a Glock now.

  • Best Glock detail strip video I have seen! I always look forward to your videos. Keep up the good work.

  • @adavisamity442 Thanks man glad you like it

  • You never wear the Sea dweller anymore!

  • @GMGvanS I love this JSAR

  • @humans4targets2 Well, they're both swiss made, so I guess it doesn't really matter. lol

  • 26:50 what were you gonna show us?

  • @dwrdhrrs1 You caught that lol, what I wanted to show was after the slide is put back together you can see that part of the extractor depresser plunger up against the back of the extractor when you look at the side of the slide, hope that makes sense.

  • Excellent video H4T! Thank you!

  • glock man here, just found your channel,3 thumbs up megaskeet, nice vids

  • the glock tool, awsome, you have 2 keep that 1,lol.chewed up

  • very very good vid man, u did a great job

  • Very clear...Thanks

  • one of the best vids

  • Great job! I would like to see you detail strip one of your H & K guns, maybe the ml 23. Socum??????

  • Perfect !!!

  • Thanks for the GREAT video! One pretty amazing thing about Glocks is their simplicity. The fact that you did this in HD really helps - I blew it up to full screen on my 17" laptop & caught every little detail. Detail strip videos with an over-the-shoulder or 3rd person perspective can be frustrating. I'm going to send this vid to my friends that own Glocks!

  • excellent video. as a new glock owner, this was very informative. much appreciated.

  • Great vid man. Waiting on my upgrades for my FIRST glock (g23) to arrive. This vid will make it very easy for me to do the installs. I'll probably start to like them "plastic guns" LOL!!

  • Great video. This will really help folks.

  • How the hell could anyone dislike this... I use to hate glocks, as time goes on i am starting to like them more... but this video makes me want to own a glock... seeing how simple it is to replace parts if ever needed this gun is a DIY dream!

  • Great Video!

  • that was cool. could you do one on a springfield XD 45?

  • Sweet video, this has to be one of the best "how to's" one the internet for a glock. Good job!!

  • @steve97601 Thanks man glad you like it

  • Awesome quality, great video, definitely enjoying my subscription. Keep up the good work!

  • @kaetherd Thanks for subscribing

  • Very nice, HD is so amazing! Loved it, best field strip I see! Thanks for sharing!

  • Rxcellent detail in the video. I don't own a Glock but it's still good info to know. Thanks.
