Anyone right here tell me what's gonna be bad with this game? Instead of making kotor 3 where they HAVE to end it. Like lucasarts will really make a kotor 3, 4, 5, 6. Cause that's how big the story is if you wanna go into things.

But again, what's so wrong about an mmo. Tell me why it's time consuming...you login whenever you want YOU choose when you play, 15 dollars a month for a game this amazing! That's 3.50 a day. You tell me you guys who bitch can't save up 15 dollars a month!?

This better not be a monthly fee game, because if it is, then its simply not worth the graphical effort of what it could have been if BioWare did not decide to base the graphics off of something such as World of Warcraft.

if any of you have played SWG you will know exactly how fucked this game will be, because they are doing the same principal making jedi easy to get , so everyone will go jedi and it will be JEDI wars not Star wars, it will be shit, the only reason they are basing it in "the old republic" is so they can do that, it will be shit because the old republic is not the star wars we have grown up to love !

@dude37 yeah well im planning on going Bounty Hunter. But the main problem is that any MMORPG like WoW, Guild Wars etc is that 80% of the ppl playing are 12 years old. thankfully they will go jedi not sith so that ok. But there are so many 12 year old dumb asses that play online games and it makes playing really frustarting. but i rly think this is gonna be a really nice game. better than wow or any mmorpg until now. cant wait :P

BTW the jedi post-NGE wasn't what killed SWG because so few people were jedis. What killed NGE was the fact that 1, SoE took away the 32 profession template system and replaced it with a horribly made 9 class system. 2, they changed the combat to some generic 3rd person shooter game that worked like shit and 3, they completely changed the game from one that we loved to one we didn't know

On top of that there are supposed to be hundreds of jedi walking around in the old republic

So no, Bioware is doing this right and so far it doesn't look like something SoE would make, and BTW we can see the awesome effects that SoE has had with plenty of their other game like Planetside.

Simply put Bioware >>> SoE, and that's all you need to know

a while back there was an mmorpg where u could do just about anything. my favorite thing to do when attacking villages, make villagers as i did evil things. won't say what but it's pretty bad.

Not everyones a jedi, they have plenty of classes in this. Also, at least in the KOTOR timeline, it makes "Sense" to have a bunch of jedi. Wheres SWG messed up bigtime in that aspect.

Actually, it's because MMORPG's on consoles make very little profit. Take Final Fantasy XI for example. Did good on PC, moderately well on the PS2, and bombed on the 360.

Why? Because the MMORPG audience is PC. You have constant patches to fix thousands upon thousands of problems within the game. If you were to upload them onto your PS3 or 360 hard drive, it would be full in less than a year.
