If she believed he was straight she would be glad a guy bought him and not a woman. She would be like, have a blast! Edwin is just wrong on every level however.
If I were a straight guy having a "forced date" with a gay guy that was interested in me and I wanted to keep clear that I didn't feel the same, I don't think I'd choose to have him behind me in a motorcycle. Just sayin'.

This reminds me so much of the John Paul and Craig (gay guy tries to get with closeted guy who has a girlfriend) situation in Hollyoaks... Except there was ALOT more gay action going on, damn for str8 boys those 2 knew how to get it on.. I'm crossing my fingers for a "waking up naked in bed" scene from those 2!
One more thing - I think Lucas is a rolemodel for today's gay male... He is 100% himself and doesnt care who knows it! love him!! I wish North American shows had ones like him!
Wow. This was worth waiting for. What came over Edwin? Loved seeing the way he unwound, glowed in Lucas' presence. And then ... took over. "I decide". Doing everything that our Lucas was yearning for. The best sex in the world wouldn't have been as special as setting off on Edwin's bike into that Dutch winter canal landscape. And Edwin knew that the bike would mean that they would have to get their arms around each other immediately. Good thinking, Ed. Like he'd been planning it for days.

or maybe the writers are not even going for the homo/straight duality or bi... maybe they are going for posing the character as queer... I mean, 95% of the audience would probably not get the concept and I do not really think Edwin would be the guy who would actually be thinking about himself with using the word but this ambivalence about him defining himself either way would actually play into those realms. :)

There are no ludwin scene's in todays episode. Lucas suddenly appeard on screen without Edwin... I think we will get flashbacks to the end of their date... maby they did kiss or something... but in the shorty of today you could see that when Wiet called Edwin for an appointment he looked verry insicure... so it's gonna be exciting... But i'm only speculating...
Edwin didn't mind at all when Wiet didn't want to have sex, he's like "let's sleep then"...Edwin wanted to be refreshed and ready for the "Blonde One".

It's Interesting, just this morning on the Today show, they had a woman who was married to a man for ten years and then he told her he was Gay. She wrote a book "Can't Think Straight." she said she felt Humiliated and had a Psychotic Break with Reality, Drank a lot and couldn't be alone.It was very sad, but she looked composed and healing.I hope Edwin gets rid of Wiet SOON. She seems like even now she has a Psychotic break with reality. Lucas tried to prevent this from the beginning.
Sorry. Tatoo plus remember guys how insecure and young Weit is. She had huge jealousy issues with Lucas and Noud when they were hanging. @1958louief I think once you start messing with people's feelings and dating (using) their best friend you lose your peace and space to just fall out of the closet. I also think Edwin wants to be pushed. He's knows Lucas by now and he should know that taking Lucas to a quite private place where all they can do is talk to each other, is going to result in them talking about this. He could have chose a number of busy "activity" type of dates, but he didn't. He chose to just enjoy time with him.

There are no ludwin scene's in todays episode. Lucas suddenly appeard on screen without Edwin... I think we will get flashbacks to the end of their date... maby they did kiss or something... but in the shorty of today you could see that when Wiet called Edwin for an appointment he looked verry insicure... so it's gonna be exciting... But i'm only speculating...

@tenjoki Thanks, I think that for such a young actress, she's doing what Joan Collins'did for Dynasty:)- she has created a character you love to hate, LOL .It seems like most actors love playing villains, and I've never seen a character, so young, played by an actress so young who has been able to create such a complicated character: Is she just a damaged, insecure girl? Will she turn out to be a Psychopath? If Edwin leaves her for Lucas, what will happen to poor Lucas? We care, because of Pip.

It's Interesting, just this morning on the Today show, they had a woman who was married to a man for ten years and then he told her he was Gay. She wrote a book "Can't Think Straight." she said she felt Humiliated and had a Psychotic Break with Reality, Drank a lot and couldn't be alone.It was very sad, but she looked composed and healing.I hope Edwin gets rid of Wiet SOON. She seems like even now she has a Psychotic break with reality. Lucas tried to prevent this from the beginning.

Sorry. Tatoo plus remember guys how insecure and young Weit is. She had huge jealousy issues with Lucas and Noud when they were hanging. I think the actress who plays her is doing her best with what she's been given. Let's just hope one of the guys is decent enough to tell her before she walks in on them kissing or more:)

I am not a Weit fan...but, have any of you been in a relationship with a guy (or lady) who wasn't sure about his/her love for you? Weit is justified to being confused. There is unspoken energy in love, always! And, I think she senses this and questions Edwin. Edwin is in the dishonest one here. Okay, I love the energy of Lucas & Edwin...moving toward John Paul & Craig, and Chrolli and Kish!! delightful writing and acting. On with the show!!!

Even tough Feri(Lucas) has a real life partner ,They choose a good match in casting the guy to protray Edwin . Though Lucas is older & more experienced I think they make a great couple & I hope that they will eventually be together ,but you all know how soaps go !

@1958louief I think once you start messing with people's feelings and dating (using) their best friend you lose your peace and space to just fall out of the closet. I also think Edwin wants to be pushed. He's knows Lucas by now and he should know that taking Lucas to a quite private place where all they can do is talk to each other, is going to result in them talking about this. He could have chose a number of busy "activity" type of dates, but he didn't. He chose to just enjoy time with him.

I hope someday that Lucas and Edwin will sing together, and have there own song. These two are adorable. I see Weit taking this badly when she finds out, I really hope she doesn't go so far as to try and kill herself, that would crush everyone. She is somewhat annoying but I still love her.

@solidinjection Well, I don't love Wiet- quite the opposite, and I would not want anyone to kill themselves,,,now that said, to show I'm not a total asshole (G).BUT .if she were holding a gun to Lucas's head, I wouldn't mind at all if Marska Hargitay -sweating, profusely , had no choice but to shoot her and save Lucas.
