Stamping and Colored Pencil Techniques

The best paper for colored pencil is one with some "tooth" or texture to it. This helps the pencil material come off on the paper. Copy paper is usable, but a bit too smooth for colored pencils at their best. We use a fantastic paper from Mohawk called Color Copy 98 - Bright White Smooth Cover. It is 100 lb and we buy it at Kelly Paper. The pencils Fran uses are Staedtler Karat Aquarelle.

when you cut the shapes out do you use a craft knife or scizors?
