The best paper for colored pencil is one with some "tooth" or texture to it. This helps the pencil material come off on the paper. Copy paper is usable, but a bit too smooth for colored pencils at their best. We use a fantastic paper from Mohawk called Color Copy 98 - Bright White Smooth Cover. It is 100 lb and we buy it at Kelly Paper. The pencils Fran uses are Staedtler Karat Aquarelle.
Thank you guys so much i have been looking for a video that would teach me some basics but this one is just amazing, You guys really helped me in art class Thank you so much, but i have one question is there any kind of paper that would help me do a better job or is copy paper good? plz respond
@hjsgdl We just use small craft scissors. You could try using a craft knife but it would take much longer. Thanks for watching our videos! Happy stamping!
@dakota073007 Hi Dakota! Thanks for watching our videos! We actually make them and they are available on our website- the link is in the video description. They are called Jumbo Snowman Perfectly Clear Stamps. Happy Stamping!
