umm, have you ever seen an F1 engine blow. It sound more like bolts rattling around inside a coffee can. Like tonyf says, the engine would have stopped dead. The Redbull 2.4L is capable of going from 18,000 rpm to 0 in 0.2 seconds. He wouldn't have blown the engine and then driven off like he clearly did.
