this is not "how to play uprising" but rather "how to play uprising very simplified"... and by simplified i mean wrong... the actual chords in the chorus are not the ones u played, the verse was right, except for the fact that for playing the solo right u need to tune ur a string to g... thus meaning that the chords played in the verse look a little different... solo is crap, and last but not least the synth has got way more pull-offs if u wanna make it sound the way it is on the record...:-)

I think Kip Haynes is a whole step down, any note he says (for example, the "E note") is actually a whole step down (D).

The chords are actually based around Dm and A for the synth part.

The tuning is Drop D AND the A string is dropped down G, which he does only during the solo.

Pretty shoddy tutorial, to say the least.

if your gonna put this much effort in at least do it properly and learn the song properly. Im looking for a decent video to teach me the awkward chords and solo in this song. This video has achieved neither. You dont even attempt the actual chords played in the sone, instead opting for simple bar chords that im fairly certain Matt does not use. The solo, the most complex part of the song, is thrown in at the end with a different tuning and is not explained at all. Thanks for nothing.

@RocketBabyUno Actually those are the exact chords Matt uses, except his tuning is slightly different. He plays it in drop D with the A string also dropped to G, which is an odd tuning to do a tutorial on.
