As mentioned earlier, initial creation is to build this origami without using glue. However I did use glue to secure it when it was accidentally knocked off and dismantled.

For my new Green Chinese dragon, I built and glued all important parts just to make sure it will not easily "dismantled" when "touched". Please take a look at my Green dragon and Cobra, and give me your ratings and comments. Thanks a lot.

Oops... The given sizes are meant to be the rectangle paper sizes that are to be used to fold into the required triangles. Sorry if it confuses u...

Hi, for this Chinese Dragon, I used 4 different triangle sizes as followed. Each is half of the previous.

A~ 500pcs (74.2x52.5mm)

B~ 50pcs  (52.5x37.1mm)

C~ 100pcs (37.1x26.25mm)

D~ 350pcs (26.25x18.55mm)

Total ~ 1,000pcs ONLY :)

I still received many messages regarding how to make this dragon... maybe if someone can send me the required triangles, I will make one and record the process :) honestly, to me, is not that difficult to make one. it is the initial creation that needs time to think, try and error, to make each parts look "real"... and also the time to fold the triangles...

so... anyone wants to help to fold the triangles and send to me in Singapore :D

First, u got to know how to make the small triangles and how to join them together. I guess you could find the info on YouTube easily. With that, you can use your imagination to create many things/creatures. You will feel great when you manage to find a way to "create" things out from these triangle papers.

However it really take a lot of time to fold those triangles. I saw people making the cobra, dragon with wings, Phoenix, etc... But I think there is a way to make them look more realistic...
