The PS3 generally excells in that genre solely DUE to its controller formatting. The Xbox controllers are more veered towards shooters. The problem with using an Xbox controller is that the directional pad it has is a clunky crossbreed between an analog and a regular directional set-up... Which sucks.

Sony stayed true to the Dualshock and kept it simple.

@XionicAlex Ed Boon never intended for the harpoon to shoot out of scorpions arm, it was solely the idea of the costume designer and director of the movie. All Ed Boon said was that it was a pretty cool idea. but he never brought it into the games.

Another crossover? It's too bad that so many critics panned Mortal Kombat vs. DC for lack of blood. Tournament matches from that game are by far the fastest and most intense I've ever seen from a 3D fighter.(and probably ever will see)
