i found it was impossible for me using the keyboard. when i tried the demo on my ps3 the control stick worked so much better. if thats the case with you maybe get one of those game controllers for your computer

There is a track-changer for the grid demo out there where you can swap the gametype of any demo track, google for it. The S15 is swaped with the BMW and the handling file were replaced with the demo inclusive Impreza file.

You can't add body kits or anything like that. But you can choose your livery (basicly a paint job) with all kinds of different looks and colors. You can also add sponsors to your car that you have unlocked in single player.

hardly any racing games even take account that you need to countersteer and control the throttle to ajust and carry your drift through the corner. not even nfs prostreet (yes you countersteer but its like full lock countersteer always)

in grid you can use fundamental drifting techniques to improve the way you drift. so in a way, its got better realism than alot of games out there, maybe not car for car, but driving model is excellent.

WRONG, u obviously don't drift to say a stupid thing like that, the game is far from being realistic, just like NFS. drifting feels very unnatural doesn't even come close to real drifting. it may be a fun game but it sure as heck isn't realistic, not even close. live for speed is by far the most realistic game, try it and see...

Also Rfactor is pretty good too. LFS is shit with some cars. i wonder about u saying. U just drive some cars, wich have been tuned in some way, and u compare it to stock in game etc. (im talking about PT/Rfactor). Most realistic imao is Gran Turismo series. Maybe im not right, but when i drive any car, i dont compare it to game.

To this day i haven't played a game that simulates a real car even close to perfect. When im playing a game i know that im playing a game.

Example, if your driving a rear wheel drive on GT on a stragiht road topping around 200kmh, a sharp turn of the wheel to the left or right does put you off course not a hell of a lot.

If your in a real car and turn the wheel a tiny bit out of place going at high speeds the car reacts very differently to in any game, it pulls instantly.

wrong u may thing because u spin out on grass going 20 mph its unrealistic but if u go anywhere where the street is just grass the speed limit will be 10 mph because 10 mph more and u spin out plus no traction and no way of stopping the car

If you'd like to drift with the mustang or bmw instead of the s15, you have to rename the ..cars/gtr or ..cars/bmw folder and its content to s15. Another secret: The used livery in this video is the "hero" livery which you can find in the ..cars/bmw/livery_hero folder. Just make backup of the livery_00 folder and rename the hero folder with its content to livery_00. Hav phun! ^^

ok, its just a simple process of renaming folders :) To find the Impreza handling file, go to your ...GRID Demo/cars/imp folder. There is a imp.csv file, just copy/paste this file into your favorite car's folder (in my case ...cars/bmw) and rename the file to bmw.csv for example. But be careful, the impreza handling is only for drifting! Second, to swap any cars & tracks, like drifting in San Franc. google and download this program: FOJ Grid Demo Modifier. -> h t t p : / /flatoutjoint . c o m
