its funny how i see all these ppl saying what their parents would've said or done if it was them. bunta KNEW the engine was gonna go soon. he had another engine ready for that exact reason. also, bunta KNEW takumi was racing, he even encouraged him to do the 1st race against keisuke and his FD. i'm gonna guess the majority of the ppl on here don't have their parents encouraging them to race, teaching them techniques, OR having another engine ready when the current 1 goes kaboom.

@jaysongamble1111 You could search craigslist for a Corolla GTS (AE86), alot of people keep it in good shape and they usually go for less than 5 grand. Just don't end up blowing the engine on that too lol

@jaysongamble1111 Do not get it fixed for 1600, for that go buy another corolla. For that price you should be able to get something nice, depending on where you live and what you buy. I would go Honda, but that's just me. I love corolla's, but not the new ones, only the "sapito's" as we call them in Puerto Rico. If Takumi takes that 86 to PR, he can get 10,000+ for it. Anyone would kill for a right hand drive, DOHC turbo sapito.
