Kola Kwariani (aka Nick the Wrestler) played the part of Maurice Oboukhoff in the 1956 movie THE KILLING by Stanley Kubrick. Kola Kwariani was also an expert chess player and played in the New York Chess and Checker Club (alias The Fleahouse) where he met fellow chess enthusiast Stanley Kubrick. The neighborhood changed, and in February 1980 at age 77 Kola Kwariani was beaten to death in the chess club by five black teenagers.

Boy, this was rasslin'! Gene Stanlee could really get a crowd going. He had a great hairy chest to match that great mane on his head. The announcing is great- that's how the announcers were in those days- added to the action.
