  • Not bad. In fact he can play better than 99.9% of use commenting here.

  • nice vid!!!

I bought a drum rudiment poster and dvd at

    DrumRudimentPoster.comx-minus the x :) it rocks!!!

  • @flipper7001 good for you no one cares

  • he suck

  • Rudiments are very handy. But. This guy.

From a technical viewpoint, he's excellent, but it's undeniable that the majority of this vid sounds like shite.

He should focus more time on listening to what he's playing rather than going with theory.

  • Please post a vid of yourself doing better.

  • Did you even read what I said?!

I have a vid that's been up for a good while now, not great but it'll give an idea of where I was at about 6months ago. This is irrelevant though.

Most of this vid sounds shit. You don't even need to play drums to know if it sounds good or not.

If I was starting out drumming today and had seen this video, I probably wouldn't learn rudiments because this sounds horrible.

  • Sorry, but it's like the "official" response to somebody saying they're better.

I didn't really mean it, I actually agree with you. Too much time on the pad, too little on the kit o.o

  • Ah, no bother man.

    Exactly what I mean! =]

  • i do agree. but, i believe the purpose of this "solo" is to be very rudimentary. which in that case he succeeded. but i do agree, it wasnt very musical at all.

  • i am quite disappointed in this...

  • The double kick pedal has it's advantages but at the expense of other important considerations that can be overlooked. By adding the double

kick pedal drummers are able to play sustained 16th note patterns. However, the double kick will require the feet to be incorporated in what is being played by the hand on top of the drums this means the hands will tend to play less drums. Traditionally drum solos are where the hands do most of the work by adding the D-kick there

is less for them to do.

  • Hey he's using the Peace bubinga kit and Istanbul cymbals. As I have said before, those 2 companies make the perfect drum setup. Yet more evidence!!! Great playing and another testament to the fact that ALL drumming is based on rudiments. Resistance to the rudiments is futile.

  • hey Nel you youst to live with Dave Ball i youst to play rush yyz and others with you and some stuff with mike ball if you didnt recognize me. great production savoie and i have been doing some recording catchy stuff. ive been tapping guitar for about 10 years wrote a book on it and trying to break in a new invention in patent pending any way wish you all the success in yout instructional video Sean R

  • Wow ur good. I see that this does take extreme skill, but to me it just doesn't sound. I guess its just not my thing. But great job!

  • He really got his own style, first time I see those kind of rythms :)

  • Dude watch his hands, he is not always doing the same thing, of course you should buy it you will most likely learn how to play all that.

  • dude is god

  • this guys drums sound great !

  • Did you notice if he was rudimental? I have been wondering whether or not to buy his training video. Do you think it would be worth buying?
