I have been following Alistaire's career since he was in Pride. He is an incredible fighter, and human being. If he were a K1 competitor, it would be scary for the HW division. K1 kickboxing is FIERCE - well beyond average mma striking. And alistaire is not just a compeitor - he is the k1 CHAMPION. That is ridiculously hard to accomplish. Next, he is the Dream champion, and took time away from SF to do this. I am telling you this is awesome for UFC fans.

I don't know why everyone is so surprised brock lost.
He won the title after 3 fights, on a 2-1 record, defended it against a couple of average heavy weights, and has been getting his ass handed to him soon as he faced real talent like Velasquez and of course, THE REEM!.
Brock is by far the most over rated fighter in the history of MMA, and i'm glad he finally left. He's an embarasment to the MMA.

@bobregesense overeem is a natural heavyweight!! if you gain 50 pounds of muscles in a few years cause of steroids, your stamina will go to hell.
overeem gassed out a lot of times when he was lighter. he had to cut a lot of weight before each fight, that can really fuck up your stamina.
after moving to heavyweight i havent seen him draw one big breath a single time. his current weight fits him, it has nothing to do with roids. if so, his stamina would have been even worse by now

LOL at Dana going on about how big this fight is and how therehasnt been a HW fight of this calibre in a while. Maybe on paper, you look at 2 huge Champions, a great wrestler vs a great striker but in the real world Ubereem is a monster and Brocks just a bully. When hes winning hes king shit as soon as Brock starts to lose though he crumbles. Plenty of fights have been better calibre than this, hell Ubereems sparing sessions are a higher calibre fight than this was.

I have been following Alistaire's career since he was in Pride. He is an incredible fighter, and human being. If he were a K1 competitor, it would be scary for the HW division. K1 kickboxing is FIERCE - well beyond average mma striking. And alistaire is not just a compeitor - he is the k1 CHAMPION. That is ridiculously hard to accomplish. Next, he is the Dream champion, and took time away from SF to do this. I am telling you this is awesome for UFC fans.
