Perfect interpretation, Tomas Luis de Vittoria, the greatest spanish composer, I advice you to hear Pro Cantione Antiqua's version just with soloists.

Por supuesto que en algunos documentos aparece así...Se trata de una italianización del nombre, algo muy habitual antaño, cuando Italia era el centro musical por excelencia.
