That's what NBC's first nightly newscast was like---15 minutes, Monday through Friday [7:45-8pm(et)], anchored by John Cameron Swayze, with the sponsor's influence clearly stated from the start. Nobody was EVER mentioned as having died from "smoking"...and ONLY Winston Churchill could be shown smoking a cigar! Very few kinnies of "CAMEL NEWS CARAVAN" are known to exist.

The Camel Camera was the forerunner of the Huntley Brinkley report on NBC.
