  • question. is this glass or acylic/ plasticky tank?

  • @pinoykillah18 Plastic

  • @slamylaa not good. glass always better. and if its only 5 dollars i would buy 20 pieces but its too expensive. i have alota bettas

  • very cruel and way to small only use could be to house fry when young but thats about it.

  • Way too small.

  • fill the water up higher and im guessing he is dead already congrats

  • jerrry jerry jeryy its a fish

  • poor little guy

  • you want to know whats worse than keep bettas in small spaces? people complaining on every video about it. FYI breeders keep all their stock in jars. this person can keep their bettas however they want. you whinning wont make them run out and buy it a giant tank.

  • i lke that tank its good

  • that just looks cruel

  • i have one of those cubes but i drilled holes in the bach for a small uv steriliser & filter combo.

with a weak enough current for mu fish to swim in

  • How can anyone think this is acceptable for a fish to live in! Look at the fish in the video! I bet its dead from stress now! how much are these tanks? I bought a plastic one about 10 times the size of that box and it was only £9! not that i'd keep adult fish in it, jus baby mollies! i doubt if ANY fish survives it this cube for more than a few months!

  • I have to say I love your betta but HATE your "Bowl". I advise at least 2+ for a betta. They dont live in puddles but in rice paddies (those are LARGE pond a foot or two deep) Bettas produce very little waste and dont require a filter but for a happy betta I always tell people to put a small filter on. (Run a small tetra filter on mine) Water changes are important (50% With filter 100% without every 5 days) A heater is important they come from hot climate they dont like cold water.

  • Remember that there is a big difference between simply living and thriving. Fish don't always have to show external signs that something is wrong and the accumulation of harmful ammonia produced by the fish can take it's toll before you even notice it.

All fish should be kept in a proper aquarium with a cycled filter and in the case of tropical fish, a heater. It is a common misconception that Siamese fighters originate from tiny puddles in the ground.

  • Can some one help me out i want to have some fish i havent ever kept any so wud some one give me like some links for a good setup and what fish to put in it wether its 1 fish or a few i dont mind i dont wanna do this n keep a nice fish in a fucking CUP

  • well firs it depends on what size tank you have

if its like 10 gal or less

    fish:1or2 goldfish

neon tetras+guppies+mollys (keep a few of each speicemen or else they'll be lonely and stressed)

a betta (easy to care is georgeus but you can keep only one male or else they WILL kill each other and you can keep then in a 5 liter tank or even less!!)

    Setup

    Setup for the above:

some plants and maybe decoration you pick in a petshop there are many to pick from

    hope i've helped

  • love the fins and colour. NICE!!!

  • bettas can live in bowls just fine as long as you keep the water clean, but for god sakes al least add some plants!

  • there is no room for plants! Thats a myth by the way, bettas cant be kept in bowls. just cuz they r seem like that in the pet stores doesnt mean they should be neglected. fish need to swim so they need space!! do u wanna live in a closet? how would u feel then!!!!!!! gosh i get angry now lol

  • it's obviously not a myth because i keep mine in a nice bowl with lots of plants! and it's never gotten sick

  • that still doesnt mean it should have little space! sure a person can live in a closet with nice decoration and food but u wouldnt like that right? think about how your betta feels. plz just buy a 2.5g tank. u can get it for 20 bucks for a whole set. dont u want ur betta to be happy??

  • my betta is happy. He's been in a larger tank before and he seems totally insecure and scared. trust me they live in small puddles and swamps in the wild, they don't need much room to be happy

  • fuck u

  • oh really? wanna start shit now? haha bitch. who cares

  • i think bookoodiggydow is right because my betta was in a large tank to and it felt insucure....i've been keeping betta fish for 8 years now and my bettas do just fine in a bowl with nice plant decorations......i had a couple of them for more than 2 years so i think they would do fine in a bowl...but hey better than a cup right....

  • thank you! finally someone who doesn't have a stick up their ass in the fish department!

  • you welcome

  • nice aqua box... i bout a 4.5 gallon aqua box and a bubbled eye goldfish for my girlfriend. they make excellent gifts. i personally have a 600 liter reef tank. and i only have 3 small fish in it. i hate to see animals in tiny cages.

  • i agree with ColinTTR

but nice crowntail betta if you do know what type of betta it is

  • That tank is so small!! It has no filter or pump. Its like keeping a lion on a wardrobe with a tiny little hole for fresh air!!!

  • @ColinTTR

you know a lot of betta fish hate current? filters provide lots of current..weekly water changes are fine

  • @stevewins914 theres ultra quiet filters for them

  • @ColinTTR i agree its 2 small for the fish, but betta can take air from above the water,

  • Ditto TuxedoElf

  • This 'tank' is far too small for ANY fish. Just because bettas CAN live in them, it doesn't mean that they SHOULD.

  • Betta are easy to look after, mainly feed it and change abt 50% water once every 2 weeks / 1 month.. pending on conditions.

  • @slamylaa first of all you need at least a 2 gallon tank and second u should be changing the water at least once a week not every 2 weeks to a month unless u have a filter that would make it so you wouldn't have to change the water as much.

  • how do u clean this tank? n look after it n all tht stuff
