NO MENTION OF THE AGE OLD ANCIENT FACT THAT ELECTROLYOSIS TO SEPARATE HYDROGEN FROM WATER TAKES AS MUCH ENERGY AS GIVEN BY THE RESULTANT HYDROGEN! Nothing new here, only reinforcement that the idiotic synergy of Fox news and the Bush administration gave us the Iraq War! Fox assumes you are stupid so they can manipulate the public for corporate gain. Problem is they are RIGHT!
Wow what a wonderful idea. Why has no-one done this before? Imagine - a fuel tank in your car full of WATER! WATER! How wonderful. Think how safe that would be! No risk of gas tank explosion EVER. WOW. Cars will never explode in an accident ever again. WOW. This is so wonderful, so safe and so cheap. Why don't we all use this?
Oh, wait a minute - surely water is so safe because it is already at a low energy state? Don't we need to put at least 1kW INTO it in order to get 1kW energy OUT? hmm
The real funny thing is, is that most of the people that post about this must have an IQ of about -2. I am actually getting ready to make an "hho" generator to "hybrid" my '89 Civic. Not sure how he can patent it though as it has been a known process for quite a while.
um how could you pump hydrogen into your car. since its flame temperature adjusts to whatever its in contact with, wouldn't you end up melting your engine/????
If the government is buying into it and they engineer the system for everyday use, then there economies of scale would make HHO useful otherwise it would be scrapped.
I hope everyone realizes this is 100% FAKE. I would love "free" energy like this, but it doesn't exist. If anyone has seen electrolysis occur, it is a very slow process that requires a great deal of energy...more energy than is actually released by the combustion of hydrogen (because energy is lost to the environment, etc). Don't believe everything you see on TV. News anchors don't do much research anymore...they present what sounds good. And seriously, pay attention in chemistry class.
Electrolysis requres nest to no energy. Less than your car radio. Stan Meyer, Carl Cella, and Dingle all built succesful water powered cars, and I know a phycisict here in Philly who built a water powered car; its not that difficult. You are posting your ignorance of the technology. This can free us from dependence on Arab-and Venezuelan OIL.
I'm betting you've got no formal training in science. The basic laws of energy conservation (thermodynamics) dictate that the energy required to break a molecular bond (ie: turn water in to H2 and oxygen) is the same as the energy released by the formation of such bonds (burning H2 in oxygen to create water). There is simply know way known to conventional science that this fact can be ignored. Once you factor in inefficiencies, this idea is busted!
I do have a degree in science, and you are not familiar with the may techniqes and technologies. There is also dissciation of the water-molecule with radio-waves,vibrating at resonant-frequency of the water-molecule.The devices and cars are out there, like I said I personnly know someone who modified a car to run on water here in Philadelphia.Just ask around,I am sure even YOU can find the technologies.Carl Cell's water system was printed in NEXUS in 1996;you may access it on line to build it.
It doesn't matter what technique you use to break the molecular bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen, it's still going to take the same amount of energy as you get during the recombination. If you have discovered a way to defeat the laws of energy conservation and thermodynamics then you are about to become the richest man in the world.
Anyway its not ABOUT money. That kind of thouth-process has brought us to the terrible-trouble we face today, with Global-Warming out of control, and energy-prices. Our economy is based on CHEAP-energy. Rad about BROWN's GAS, google the aforementioned CARL CELLA, DINGLE, STAN MEYER videos are on youtube, JOE CELL and many other modern marvels. For someone supposedly well-versed in science, you seem ignorant of these methodologies, and others, many on YOUTUBE.
Build it yourself and decide if it works or not, just as my physicist-friend in Philly has, 11-years ago. Plans are online. That is a challenge, are you afraid of success? And we shall talk again after you have done so. I shan't go round in circles.
So if this is real (chortle), why aren't auto-makers building the technology into their cars? I imagine that any car maker who could offer the benefits being claimed for it would completely take over the market -- so why don't they?
The question becomes, who is the one who is misinformed. People are not stupid, andn they resent being treated so by such as you; they are googling the sources I listed as I type. Those with the skills can build them. Thus further freeing us from dependence on foreign-oli for energy, and buring green-house gases. for our children's future.
stfu...idiot why would a company buy it out it when it would shorten their billionaire pockets most billionaires are intrtwined in in oil industry and energy
thats crap crap crap... doesn't evern make sense... If it were so great, wouldn't a bigger company come up with it? wouldn't a Big company buy his ass out?
Actually, you can produce a large amount of hydrogen using very little electricity By using 2 stainless steel strips in a double helix. By keeping them about 1/8th of an inch apart in a tight spiral it cranks out a massive amount of HHO gas. Look for Double Helix hydrogen on here & you'll see it for yourself.
tanto88: I don't know if you're still listening, but in the compound H2O (water) two hydrogen atoms are bonded to one oxygen atom. this is because hydrogen has a valence of +1 meaning it has one electron and needs to get rid of it (or rarely, gain one more) to form a stable electron shell, and oxygen has a valence of -2, meaning it has 6 electrons, and needs to have 2 more to have a stable shell of 8. so two hydrogen atoms each give one electon to the oxygen atom, and they're all happy.
HHO, as it's written, implies one Hydrogen atom connected to another, connected to an oxygen atom. this make no sense, since a hydrogen atom cannot loose more than one election to have none, or gain only one to have 2. These are the only ways it can bond to another atom (it can't give one electron and then take another, as it would become neutral and not bond)
whether water is a liquid or gas (steam) has no affect on its chemical formula, it's always H2O, otherwise it's not water anymore.
the term HHO it just that, only a term. You get hydrogen and oxygen separately. The gases are really H2 and O2 and 2 H2 combined with one O2 is explosive and can be used as a fuel with the output of WATER.
you're right, it is no longer water. That's merely a term being used to help people understand. If you go out and say "let's use rocketfuel to run our welder/car/etc. it wouldn't sound as attractive."
well, I think the term "HHO" is misleading, and doesn't help anyone to understand, at least not me. still leaves the problem of "perpetual motion machines are impossible" though.
it's not perpetual motion. It uses electricity to generate the gas from water. The water also requires metals to be present which will break down over time and need to be replaced. Finally there's sometimes a catalyst that needs to be added to the water that'll also need added again as you add more water.
What this is, is simply a breakthrough in how we can use the energy that's already here much more effeciently than we are currently. Also the required components are A LOT cheaper to acquire which is what makes this so attractive. Just wait and see, if this takes off, distilled water will skyrocket in price and the metals and catalysts will do the same.
All laboratories can produce H+H+O, but the electrolysis process needs electricity, 80% of the energy in the electricity goes away as heat, 20% is recieved as the chemic energy in hydrogen. An engine driven by the hydrogen can not produce enough energy to drive the process.
IsAnyone reading said ... "They're selling the generator that can make it "on demand." So why aren't they collecting the gas and selling it commercially? Because it's a scam."
That's because Oxyhydrogen cannot safely be stored at useful pressures because of its explosive nature. Relatively low pressures can be achieved, allowing the application to pressurized torches.
Someone mentioned that they think this video was an April Fools prank and that HHO = H20. It doesn't. Look up OxyHydrogen on wikipedia. It's diferent molecule with the same constituent elements.
Oh, now i see why i should've put a smiley or something - so even the retards (the likes of yourself) could spare themselves some energy and refrain from typing shit.
Someone said that everyone whois skeptical is "close minded." I'd say factual.
It takes an enormous amount of energy to break up the hydogen bonds that make water stable. Even if you could do so easily, there's no explanation of how you then make the molecules recombine to form HHO.
If you look at the website, they are NOT selling HHO gas. They're selling the generator that can make it "on demand." So why aren't they collecting the gas and selling it commercially? Because it's a scam.
no you idiot. it's cause the oil companies don't want to let him in. If it's a scam explain how the welder stay so cool to the touch. This can't be simply hydrogen either cause hydrogen is explosive. rearranging Water from H20 to another form is perfectly possible in theory, so maybe he's done it!
What a bunch of skeptics. Yes I think big oil is going to try and buy the patent, or somthing along those lines. But it will happen. With time. Oil tech can only last so long. I think if one of the "big 3" get involved it will happen. They will bring the Tech, and people will buy.
if he ran it on straight water it would rust the engine because it would turn into liquid water before exiting the tailpipe. Hydrogen doesn't burn hot enough to keep itsel from turning to water; however, gasoline does
If this is plausible, it will never see the light of day if Big oil has anything to do about it. Think about what would happen to the world economic market if all the sudden oil was no longer needed. If he does presue it I wouldn't be surprised if he suddenly vanished & his findings were to vanish without a trace.
It is patented now, so now the designs and concepts are always going to be available. Can't remove the information from the patent office. People other than him already have the designs.
To those of you who are close minded and pre-judgemental. Being the scientists and engineers that I'm sure most of you are, and before drawing conclusions, did anyone ever think to go to his company's website and look up the information about his product or the concept behind it?
this one mentioned that the vehicle was a gas-HHO hybrid, meaning that it still uses gasoline to an extent. however, when he speaks of the low water usages, they must have cut him off before indicating the GAS usage. of course, that would be relative to the vehicle type and all of that, but one must be a bit curious when researching this kind of thing.
research where on the internet??? I don't think you sugggest that as the internet is plagged full of lies to discret water as possible fuel and other things. I once saw a guy posting a threat outraged by michael moore because of his lies on his movie and he posted a page in which for example it claimed that karzai the new president of afganistan never worked at UNICAL a thing that is false as it has been proven.
( http://hytechapps.com ) you will find that the only product currently in production from his own company is the generator that uses electric current from an outlet to perform the electrolytic process. the primary function the Aquygen HHO generator is being promoted for is WELDING because HHO is safer than the acetylene stuff that oxy-fuel welders usually use, and HHO gets very, very hot.
this is not the only renewable energy that will blow your mind. check out those based on zero-point energy. also, the joe cell is another good example of water-derived energy.
another junk science shares scam. Funny to see how easy it is to mislead people with no scientific background. Im surprised they dont claim to use HHO in their antigravity engine too!
That you can burn hydrogen and oxygen and thus get heat and water has been known for over a century. What he is claiming is that he can separate the water into hydrogen and oxygen with less energy than is released when it is burned again. This is ridiculous. It's like getting electricity from turbines in a dam and then using that power to pump water back up into the reservoir. =
No, I'm just pointing out that the theory that this is any kind of solution to our fuel problems is baloney. You're just mad because you have no relevant point to make and don't understand what's going on.
Wow! So Denny Klein is going to join the ranks of people like Steven Horvath in Australia, who sold a lot of stock to losers, Henry Garrett in Texas – in 1935 – and Stanley Meyer, who was convicted of fraud in 1996. Andrija Puharich – who also “discovered” Uri Geller! – Archie Blue, Bob Boyce, Carl Cella, Charles H. Garrett, Daniel Dingel, Hector Pierre Vaes, Nakamatsu Yoshiro, Sam Leslie Leach, Stanley Meyer and many others, eh?
Science slight of hand. the energy needed to break down water into Hyrdrogen and Oxygen, is equivilent to the energy released in burning it. Think of this as energy storage (battery), not creation. This is great way of converting excess electricity into another fuel.
if you put lpg through a welding tip it stays cool as well. and its a brass ball :P
