Don't worry about what anyone has to say - the song choice was fantastic and this is a very good example of dancing. Anyone who says otherwise is either jealous, close-minded about music, or too full of themselves to respect your style. Keep at it!
I loved every single second of this routine. You have both obviously worked your socks off! Tim you're a first class teacher; alas I only get this pleasure at the awesome Potters weekenders. Keep it up both, your style is where Ceroc should be heading x
One of the best Ceroc displays I've seen. Good musicality, great steps and turns - a real rarity to see men's styling. Sadly most regular Ceroc is executed badly and without this kind of flair and creativity. It's very difficult to get to this standard unless you have a regular partner and have access to lots of workshops and specialist training, going to a class and freestyle once or twice a week is only going to take you so far. Great video though, it shows that it can be done.
Hey Jade. Been learning Ceroc in South Africa and totally loving it. Every time people ask what it's about I show them this Video. Love the way you put everything together and the moves. Guess us guys wish we were all as good as Tim and had a partner as great as you. Lol. You guys make it look so great (easy) and love the fast flowing moves. Thanks for setting us a goal!!
Tim dances always dances barefoot or just socks but i was wearing ballet shoes..for fast stuff like this i prefer flat shoes..but heels are always better for posture :)
I agree, what are the 'rules' to Ceroc? When ever I have done lifts when dancing at Bath Pavilion my partner gets tapped on the shoulder and told "not lifts in Ceroc". So we go to a corner and do it anyway! I would be very interested to know who teaches this and where, because its WONDERFUL to watch and to dance.
Im not sure abotu competetions but lifts are only banned in clubs as a safety measure. Most clubs will allow you to incorprate any style of dance you want into the ceroc style thats what makes it so great - despite everyone learning the same dance no two people dance the same it really lets you release your own character.
Thanks. I suppose it's good to at least be able to name a piece of music, even if, like this one, it's the most appalling piece of crap. What the hell was going through their minds when they chose it for their routine?
Oh dear, no offence intended. The routine itself was great and I've actually pinched a few of your figures to incorporate into my own dancing. The impression, though, is that you're having to battle against the track. Probably a case of a good idea which turned to be not such a good one. Happens to me all the time. You're fine dancers. Keep up the good work.

also meant to add lifts are banned in most clubs as a safety measure but are allowed in some clubs if you are competant and there is enough space.

Track is called: dont stop by inner party system....not your everyday ceroc track!! pretty fast for free styling :) x
