  • I think he just broke his everything

  • 0:12

  • i'd say he misjudged that one a bit

  • he should have pizza'd...but he did the french fry

  • i can do that, hold my beer

  • im pretty sure he might have hurt himself

  • this song does not go with this ahhahaha

  • how can you live through this....

  • @thatoneskier i remember when i thought i was funny

  • I used to crash like this....but then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • it was not his fault it was the guy puling him on the sled

  • @snow0pro1 I know what your saying but, it's allways your fault never blame the guy pulling you; he could have speed checked but, he didn't. His fault. But what does it matter that would have hurt like a bitch.

  • Hoooooollllyyy SHIT!!

  • omg I always get a dream where I overshoot a jump from that much and then I suddenly wake up :S

  • i'll give a dollar to whomever can tell me how many daffy's he did...

  • How do you live after that?

  • i remember when i fell like 100 feet onto flat ground and lived...........

  • i have those skis....

  • OH FUCKING SHIT.

  • Go big or go home... in a box.

  • simon is the man!

  • I almost always overshoot, but not this bad

  • he gets up and walks... when i broke my arm snowboarding i was like - fuck that im stayin right here

  • The music in this video really sets the mood...

  • i remember this. definitely shattered his pelvis

  • i think utah brings accidents...

  • maybe just a little slower next time

  • he was going SOOOO fast lol sheeesh

  • maybe he wanted to go big.....

  • i used to ride that lift up every morning to go to work

  • i can fly oh shit falling

  • hahah I remember this. Its at the end of WAR, in the credits.

  • What a boss for getting back up again after though...

  • How can one assess the pace so wrong?

  • 0:12 Ouch

  • I know he got hurt and i feel for him a lot... but... MAN, THAT WAS SPECTACULAR!!

  • he would have to need a dictionary to name all his broken bones

  • .. No steeze.. C'mon dumont.. step your game up.

  • complete opposite of tanners crash.

  • @Wakeboarder6131 haha your righthe overshot tanner undershot

  • @Wakeboarder6131

Complete opposite to Mike Wilsons undershoot crash..

  • omg! is the snow ok??

  • @m0nstermad HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA HAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAH omg so funny...........

  • @Creeksideoutdoors Well, creekside, I'll forgive your mention of mental swiftness and emphasize the 'phrase' of East Coast ice, which I understand Utah rarely suffers. Ever ridden Quebec, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Ontario, Maine, Connecticut or New York as opposed to Mt Baker, Whistler or Utah? That's all I was meaning to signify. Ice is fast, full of speedchecks and most experienced riders know this; the difference between Utah and East Coast ice. Peace and winter 2011!

  • How does an idiot take that much speed on a drop away landing on the East Coast ice. Hmmm.

  • That would be scary to overshoot that. the biggest jump ive overshot is like a 36ft.

  • metres??

  • @OnTheOccasion It's gotta be the worst feeling ever ha. Well and the impact.

  • hhahahaha thats sooo far past balls deep

  • You obviously have fallen many times.... On your head as your two remaining brain cells atest to with such brain damaged fodder that you spout like a beached whale

  • /watch?v=O3mPOTO1iII was me overshoot too.... but obviously not as bad

  • nasty

  • how did he not die

  • @nyyankees4296 he didn't die because when you ski like this, your body gets used to falling. as he progressed as a skier he probably fell on everything you could imagine and your body gets used to it. Also after yers of practice he knows how to fall in the best position that he will get the least hurt. thats why when you see someone who doesnt ski get 1 foot of air and fall they cry, but when you see a pro go off a huge jump (not this big) and fall they jump up and go hit it again. that and luck

  • @AKAK711 u so right

  • @nyyankees4296 :) yup!

  • LOL, how can you let such trash out. So if you start jumping off buildings you will get used to it? The human body can only take a certain amount of stress, depends on how you land and the direction of force to the bones, ligaments a other soft tissue..

The only difference is that when someone is experienced he can controll the flight/fall better, but that doesnt ensure, that nothing will happen....

  • @PenerJack i didnt say that nothing would happen. i specifically said that after all the practice you learn how to land in the best way possible.. and your body does get used to it, it is true it can only take soo much but your body will get used to falling. not to the point where you can do anything, but to the point you can tolerate the fall as long as you land in the right position

  • @nyyankees4296 Snow is very forgiving.

  • maybe he was trying to make up the air he missed out on, from his speed check run...

  • this is insane. i don't understand it. i broke my clavicle falling 10 feet. all he does is rupture a spleen and fracture his pelvis, and he's back in 6 weeks? amazing.

  • that shits crazy. he still owns.

After that no matter if you don't like him you have to give him some respect.. he was up skiing again in 6 weeks.

  • lol

  • @brendanbollweg but how cn they miscalculate by tht much... they should know how fast he should b going, and so should he

  • how cn u overshoot it by THT much.... thts just retarded

  • @bcannell3 BRo? wtf, he was getting pulled by the sled, They just made a miscalculate at how fast he had to go

  • Yauths :O check my videos :))

  • That sled driver is the biggest dumb ass I'v ever seen.

  • Did he stomp it ?

  • thats what happens when ur too used to fly!

  • oh shit!

  • damn air control cleared his ass for flight

  • weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    oh shit!!!

  • thumbs up if he is true man, because he walk after accident

  • Sick

  • OMG!

  • french fried when he should of pizza'd

  • The feeling to see what's about to happend while he was in the air must've been awful! Just felt as if I took a mini-crash when I watched this!

  • He had so much airtime the ambulance arrived before he hit the ground

  • Hoooolyyy SHIT!!!!!!!!!

  • RIP Simon Dumont :( gonna miss him

  • @rewazilol he's not dead

  • @rewazilol

    Troll.. GTFO!

  • he's prob like 3 inchs shorter now

  • @Hashpotato he was already like 5 feet to begin with too

  • @Hashpotato hes already 5-6

  • ohhhhh my fuck that would of hurt!! seriously what was he thinking? how does anyone over shoot that bad, specially a pro?!!!?

  • everytime he hit's the ground, i scream...

  • Uugh I know how much this hurts, ALOT. I did this, except it was on a 20 foot jump instead of a big 40-50 footer like this, and I still felt like I was stepping on knives.

  • @jslim39 Yea its hard to estimate speed on a 75 footer which this was but if your not a dumbass gaper then overshooting a 20 foot gap shouldnt be hard at all..

  • Awww man, I did the same thing. IT WAS THE SCARIEST THING OF MY LIFE!!!!! Im lucky though, the way i landed. I was just in MAJOR shock, a sprain, and a bunch of bruises

  • i bet his dick is broken now to

  • Thats what you get when you're scared to knuckle a jump

  • I did the same thing. I'm out for six weeks with a broken foot. Might need surgery

  • Those 14 probably broke their pelvis

  • HOLY SHIT. My bitch-ass gets scared with 30 foot jumps.

  • how do ou over shoot by that much that was like 150 feet?

  • siiiick the sound of the impact makes it feel sooooo bad

  • Comment removed

  • its crazy how he got up after like

"nah its cool, just got the wind knocked out of me"

  • I thought someone fired a gun behind the camera when he landed!

  • wtf!!! Die?

  • i thought i farted when he hit the ground

  • i love how the song is just playing like its nothing... and he practically dies...

  • wow how did he stand up after that wtf lol

  • theres over shooting a jump, then theres that...

  • looks like he broke his everything.

  • @that0wasnt0easy No shit, but since Tanner undershot Chad's gap he tried to be funny by saying that someone should've told Simon that this is not Chad's gap ^^

  • @RobertAkaJuMp3r hahaha and apparently it just went over that guys head haha

  • im debating if tanner hall at chads gap is worse than this

  • umm.. ouch?

  • sick!

  • Holy crap!!! he's a professional, he shouldnt have over hit by that much!

  • He fractured his pelvis and ruptured his spleen, but just six weeks later he returned to the slopes

  • how does he even have an ass to sit up on after that?

  • If you french fry when your supposed to pizza your gunna have a bad time.

  • thats why hes a bad ass. he just over shot by about 45 to 60 feet and walks away.

  • wwwDOTyoutubeDOTcom/watch?v=6toFheHtYbQ&feature=related
