  • It was slightly interesting until I heard him mention Deepak Chopra. I believe you must let go of the idea of god and spiritualism. Once you do, you realize that all you are feeling is physical (chemical reactions in the brain.) The belief that the mind and the body is separate is also misleading. Your "mind" is a product of the brain. Using physical substances (alcohol, thc, etc.) proves this. These physical substances alter the mind which simply implies that the mind is physical as well.

  • The ego is a monkey catapulting through the jungle: Totally fascinated by the realm of the senses, it swings from one desire to the next, one conflict to the next, one self-centered idea to the next. If you threaten it, it actually fears for its life. Let this monkey go. Let the senses go. Let desires go. Let conflicts go. Let ideas go. Let the fiction of life and death go. Just remain in the center, watching. And then forget that you are there.

  • The Ego sees it's own futility and creates fear in the body/mind as a diversion to save itself from death .. if this diversion is seen as arising in the presence of what you are, the ego starts to render itself non effective and starts to burn up in the fires of awareness..

  • ego doesnt exist how we think it does its just a thought

Q: Would anyone know more about what Burt mentioned about what Deepak chopra said?

  • Burt, can you perhaps repeat the questions, or the stories from your audience? As a foreigner it is verry hard to understand what they are saying. Thanks.

  • Burt is amazing and Eckhart Tolle too. Both of them have inspired me to be exactly where I'm suppose to be and always have been in the present moment. I'am extremely grateful for Burt's videos as well as Eckhart and it's always good to listen to them before sleep and after you awaken too. Just simple ideas to keep your spirit alive. Thank you Burt!!!! Keep up the videos.
