thats true the ati gpu is based on the HD2000s and the PS3 nvidia chip is based on the 7000series which by then was outdated

the PS3 cpu is also a bit of a misguided affair, all its logic cores cant process anything they want they are designed to do specific tasks so if one part needs a bit more processing than another it cant do that whereas an xbox is a true tri core cpu

the PS3 has more logic cores or co processors tho so some games may benefit if programmed well
