stop comparing phish now to the 90's, go to the shows and enjoy tht they are even playing at all and stop lving in the past and b tht really cool guy who went to shows in the 90's and how much better phish was, your stupid and no one cares
Yeah - that's not gonna happen. People who saw these guys live in the first half of the 1990's will always talk about how fucking good they were. how about YOU - STOP telling people what to THINK or SAY. They are kicking some ass now so why do you even care what other people say?
@rxheartbreakrx LOLOL . I have seen Phish. Beginning on the fall tour of 1991 and hit a peak in 1994 -1995. Try telling me that 11/30/94 and 12/1/94 weren't Phish shows and I'll argue with ya. They ARE kicking ass now compared to the lethargic lows of 1999 through the really sloppy 2003- 2004 seasons. If you don't think so then that's your delusion.
@soyounoat Solid post! 2.0 < 3.0 Phish for sure. Sorry man, I must have been mistaken. I've been listening to the new DMB sbds, and I was a little lost when I posted that. I apologize.
oh i was at this show!!!!!!! me and my friends walking through the parking lot buying tacos with refried beans!!!!!!! smokin hash and droppin lsd!!!!!!this is just a taste of how great this was live!!!!!!!!! oh i was peaking by the middle of this song!!!!!!!the ride up there was amazing too!!!!!!playing phish on the cassette player in the car!!!!!!! we were young and on top of the world!!!!!!!!phish is the reason i didnt kill myself when i was younger!!!!!!!!
I rode up to this show w/ a few friends from my hometown that I had not seen in a while because I did all of Fall 95 tour. The ride up to Albany was one of the scariest times of my life....there was around a foot and a half of snow on the highway, and the person that was driving us up had Jeep Cherokee, which made him think that he could plow through the snow at break neck speeds....we made it there fine, and thankfully so, because this video gives just a taste on how good it was...
Listen, any time is great time to get into Phish.I started listening to them when I was into the Grateful Dead, maybe 14-15 yrs old? Anyway I saw the Dead here in VT in June 1995 and Jerry died right after in August, bummer. At any rate I had bought Hoist and only listened to Julius,If I could>DWd,Sample+Wolfmans.Never listened to much else on the Cd-wasnt really getting into them like I had the GD.Jerry died..my friend Jimmy introduced me to Halleys Comet and life was never the same!
@saigon1036 For me, who got into Phish in 91, and then seeing shows from then on was the best time to get into Phish. Seeing their growth as a band and growing into larger venues was cool as hell. Anyone who's reading this and went through it along w/ me, can tell you how crazy it was in such a short amount of time how they went from playing at The Sting in New Britain CT to the Boston Garden in 3 1/2 years.

Fishman was on that night and when he's on (with all respect to the other members 'cause I love 'em) the whole band is at another level.
