This is quite an interesting cartoon, especially the animation.
One thing that I did notice that, unlike in nearly all cartoons past and present, there's no pencil-thin black border around each character, object, and surroundings. Samurai Jack is the only other cartoon that I know of that doesn't use those pencil-thin black borders. In real life, there's no such border separating us from our surroundings.

The song is called El Bimbo by Paul Mauriat. Its the same song they play in the Police Academy movies, During the gay bar scenes.
