This man openly said, on BBC, that he approved of the fatwa issued by Khomeini saying Salman Rushdie must be killed (for his critic of Islam) and now they invite him to Skavlan and cheer him on?

Det är en stor man - han Yusuf. Han är begåvad med taletsgåva. Efter allt som händer i medierna, och hur västvärlden utmålar Islam börjar man nästan känna att man inte vågar säga att man är muslim.. Efter att lyssnat på honom känner jag mig stolt. Jag är så glad att han är en av oss.. Önskar att det fanns fler " språkrör" av hans kaliber.. Islam= fred... Allt annat handlar om pengar, olja och politik på hög nivå

Men säger det inte mycket om religion överlag, att en så fridfull och vis man önskar en brinnande död över en annan människa (Salman Rushdie)? Jag försöker inte provocera din åsikt om honom, absolut inte, men jag får inte ihop hans budskap om fred med fatwan på Mr Rushdie, endast för att den senare skrev en bok och utnyttjade sin frihet till uttryck. Motsägelsefullt?

@Boyastronaut Det är synd att han tror att för att hitta sig själv spirituellt, måste man hitta sin religion och strikt leva efter dess regler som isåfall endast borde funger som riktlinjer. Hoppas att han ångrar det han sa och inser att Salman Rushdie är någon som gjort det han förespråkat; talat fritt.

Its as if the interviewer from the very beginning wants to interogate yusuf about islam, luckily yusuf could answer wisely and eloquently otherwise things would a probably been alot different.

@bdvzim Are you high? He went on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and said he supported the fatwa calling for Salman Rushdie's execution. Wishing death upon another human being is not very peaceful in my view.
