  • I have to go doo doo.

  • the green hornet was the leader but kato always was doing the all work!

  • @mayrockets not quite. Kato took care of the fighting aspect (as a crime lord, Hornet couldn't afford to get his hands dirty, hence the 'thug'). Hornet on the other hand took care of the planning, the brains of the pair. They balanced each other out.

  • Screw Seth Rogen, this will always be a cult classic to me!

  • Police Officer KATO is Bruce Lee with The Green Hornet

  • @ELVIStainmenT

    Kato isn't a police officer, he's a chauffeur.

  • Wtf did I just watch xD?

  • 00:59

green hornet wtf they wasn't there to take your shoes off lol

  • i say fuck anyone who don't like Bruce Lee, they just do not get how much of an inspiration he is to everyone. jealous that he was smart enough and capable enough to do all this in his very short life.

  • too bad they don't put that awsome music in normal movies :(

  • At :53, what the heck was Oscar Goldman thinking bowing up to The Green Hornet and Kato!!

  • the only thing i liked about the remake was Kato......which is apparantly the main thing everyone liked from the tv show. Im glad the filmakers respected that, and didnt try to make seth rogan into a bruce wayne. It was all about the Kato character. They kept the theme the same, only added stupid pointless humor, and flashy effects for the new audiences. Maybe i'm just getting tired of seth rogan, altogether,at least when he's playing anything besides seth rogan, the man's not a character actor.

  • @SandraMarieNuno Hence why it fails, read the comics. Britt can fight, he's not as smooth as Kato but he can keep up with him. You'd be surprised at how much Britt takes care of rather then make Kato do all the work.

  • Why isn't Bruce Lee doing his normal chicken-scream noises?

  • 0:44 thats how you smack a bitch

  • at least Britt Reid "can" fight.

  • There will never be another Bruce Lee.

  • no scene 4?!

  • I enjoy the story that bruce lee would scare the shit out of the directors and other actors, cause he would just be spontanious with the stunts. lol

  • bruce lee was so good at fighting he died so he can kick more ass in the after life

  • Bruce lee screams like an idiot when he fights... hahaha...

  • @CT2507 you talk like one

  • @Gaprielll how do u know... u never heard me talk!? :)

  • @CT2507 it is easy, i did not said you sound like one, i said you talk like one, unless it is not you who wrote, a statement that he screams like and idiot when he fights" it is your name under it. well let me explain why he use sound . using sound in fight is extrimly effective, it creats tention and enemies lose their focus once it create fear, and your attacks are more focused and powerfull. now ofcaurse you knew that befor you call him an idiot right ? Idiot:)

  • @Gaprielll ofcourse i knew all that. i was a bruce lee fan long before u were a glint in your daddy's eyes... ;)

but i moved on long ago. im not into the mindset of a fighter any more. so i don't see anything of value in that philosophy. today his sounds are laughable to me! :) sounds like a silly chicken getting a castration, or a cat being run over by a car. by any measure those are the sounds of a desperate man. if u think that is cool and u want to look up to that, be my guest... lol

  • @CT2507 I have no doubt that you are older than me in age, but the age is just a number and it has nothig to do with the persons experience and knowlage. eather way i wanna correct you again. it is not philosophy, but a strategy. i dont see philosophy in that perticuklar part either, this is more psychological technique.

You cant be in a minde set of everything, but it does not mean that it does not work practicaly. look at the animals most of the....

  • @Gaprielll age has much more to do with experience and knowledge than u can know at this point. 20 years from now u will think back at how u tried to defend bruce lee because u think he is "cool", and u will feel a right fool! ;)

believe me... that juvenile fascination with "speedy movements" will disappear as u get older, and be replaced by more essential and meaningful things. i myself cringe at the fact that i once read all of lee's books and had his pictures on the wall. but such is life.

  • @CT2507 ...furthermore - Bruce said "the greatest hindrence to any physical execution is the consciousness of oneself" quite profound considering you think he had a big ego and you said the need 2 become a fighter stems from inner insecurity etc - Kung fu originated from devout buddhist monks - hardly egotistical men - they wanted to explore the body see what it can do and to protect the weak! i think u failed sumwhere and are projecting my friend!!!

  • @MrSkywalker1977 any fool can quote seemingly intelligent stuff they have heard or read somewhere, and dish it out as if it was their own understanding giving the impression of being a mature or profound individual ...much like yourself. ;)

u are just another kid who is impressed with everything shiny or speedy.

what do u know of buddhism, personal spiritual transformation or the occult, from which bruce lee leeched his ideas?!

  • @CT2507 (cont)

...had u had any real understanding of buddhist monks system of training, u would have to know the chakra system, of which there are 7. 7 levels of consciousness of which bruce lee was only on the 3'rd! (and not very harmonious!) not a very high place to be according to what is possible for a human being.

i can assure u that real buddhist monks dont think highly of bruce lee just because he had trained himself to move fast! ... lol

  • @CT2507 u r wrong i am nearing 40 and i have studied kung-fu, buddhism and various other martial arts for 20+ years, i am not saying bruce was the be all and end all, not by a long shot but his theories where a protracted version of. his aim was to bring kung fu to the west and that he achieved, you sound like a jealous small minded individual who has never had any talent or had ur small talent recognised - why do you u reply to evry1s argument with a put down?

  • @MrSkywalker1977 oh u have studied budhism for 20 years!? :)

teach me about the 7 chakras then. and while u are at it, the 7 subtle bodies, and what are the effects of the 7 kundalinis moving in the 7 bodies, at the level of each chakra.

have u practiced Vijnana Bhairava Tantra?... can u name me a few of the 108 techniques to stop the mind?

ill tell u why i put everyone here down. because if men at the age of 40 are still looking up to thugs like bruce lee, they deserve to be put down!

  • @CT2507 if you have an extensive knowledge of these things why are you persistently trying to aggravate people and push your ego down their throats???? instead of just being? u may have read and remembered these things but u OBVIOUSLY dont practice them - and why do you see him as a thug? just because he was a martial artist?? he never beat people up etc for no reason or bullied them, isnt that a thug?

  • @MrSkywalker1977 he is a thug because of his big figthing ego. he loved to fight. he spread and inspired the love of fight. taught methods of maiming... in short was teaching and spreading violence. an example of self-pride and selfrightousness... lol.. if u cant see that u are the same.

or, that which is similar gets attracted....whichever u prefer.

  • @CT2507 theres nothing wrong with self-pride/righteousness. unless its alot of it (of cource alot of anything is bad ect im sure you knew)

  • @SoulSnatchaz well, as long as u can keep it for yourself, then u are somehow right... but when u become an idol and an example for others to follow, then u have a responsibility!

it does matter what u inspire in other people.

  • @CT2507 when animals fight theire strenght is more determend by the vioce, the one that creatce fear is the winer befor the fight. it might sound silly but it works in a fight, and ofcaurse it is cinema and somthings are overdone to attract. you say a silly chiken? chikens dont sound like that, and there is no silly one, a cat being run over by car dont sound like that, i can proof it. you dont make a any good point and that sounds more silly to me i am sorry.

  • @Gaprielll i wasn't trying to make any good point! ;)

im just saying i don't respect the man. get it!?

  • @CT2507 oh and one last feedback on the desperate man comment.

You said Bruce sounds are of a desperate man, but look at him he is full of confidence.

you maght talk with confidence, but deep indside you are desperate man. please keep your openions to your self and respect him as a men who had soo much to give, you you cant, dont talk about it are dissrespect him

or you get the same. i hope we understood eachother sir

  • @Gaprielll u confuse confidence with cockiness. the world is full of big ego's. and lee was no exception. in fact he was bigger than most in that direction. not a thing to be proud of in my book.

aggression is really built on fear. the need to become a fighter really stems from great inner insecurity, or the will to dominate others. neither or which are good. and neither have really anything to do with real self-confidence.

  • @CT2507 what about the need to improve oneself physically and be the utmost you can be as a human? confidence can be mistaken easily as cockiness especially if you as the observer feels inferior to the person displaying those characteristics! i'm assuming since you seem to be a wealth of knowledge and able to put someone down who created their own style that you have done similar and then afterwards realized it was pointless?

  • @MrSkywalker1977 yes, u are quite right. one should seek to better oneself and become the utmost one can be. but the physical is just the starting point. all great masters of ANYTHING realised that the physical cannot exist without the soul... and viceversa. the soul of all things is what needs to be sought and understood.

perhaps if bruce lee had lived longer he would himself have come to the conclusion that it was time to let go of speed and power, and get on to more essential things.

  • @CT2507 not if your ambition is to be a good exponent of a martial art - you said that when you where younger u read all his books, in artist of life he explains the trouble he had when he couldn't improve his technique until he trained himself mentally and not physically, this, in itself is spiritual growth!! the greates enemy is within and you have not found yours let alone defeated it!

  • @MrSkywalker1977 if u want to study true martial arts, study Moriehi Ueshiba... the founder of Aikido.

he understood the true ballance between martial art and spirit. and also reached spiritual enlightenment following the principles of his teaching.

all bruce lee ever reached through "his way", was an untimely death... which btw also got transposed to his son.

there is no future in the "hard way"!

    violence begets violence!

bruce lee was a hipocrite thug pretending to be wise... lol

  • @CT2507 " Violence begets Violence " ??? So what you are saying is that self defence is wrong ? God forbid!!!! Self defence is the 1st law of preservation, and necessity is the mother of invention. You did not know Bruce Lee personally to make such pig ignorant Judgements. Some women are more violent than Bruce Lee ever was when they murder their babies through abortion.

  • @truthhitmanisback Bruce lees method of fighitng was called a selfdefence form just to fool idiots.

it sells better in Hollywood! :) But what does God now have to do with it?! dont tell me u believe in God also??

i dont have to know Bruce Lee personaly, i can judge the tree by its fruits. look at all the streetfighters, who all look up to Bruge Lee.. all Bruce Lee wanabees. they get attracted to him for a reason. its called the law of resonance. good atratcs good, and bad attracts bad.

  • @truthhitmanisback self defence is not violence, but bruce was not about self defence. he was about attack. look who he inspires... all thugs and gangsters wanna bees!

Morihei Ueshiba was about self defence. his skill went so far as to even protect his attacker from getting hurt! that is love in action, and is only reached when one is tired of fighting.

motheres and babies and abortions?! ... lol... what are u on about ? :)

  • @CT2507 spiritual enlightenment blablabla. it sounds to me that you and Moriehi Ueshiba are more cheaters who pretend to be wise and bruce was just honoust and knew how to express himself as nobody else did before or after. all these so called masters who pretend to be enlightened, they dont know how to handle real life or fight.

  • @Kapojos lol... enlightened masters are no longer intersted in fighting. not even in defending themselves, if u can understand such a thing.

the feeling of wanting to defend oneself comes from fear.

enlightened masters, whom bruce stole a lot of wise philosofical lines from, are not on the level of fear. they simply dont vibrate with such a low frequency.

  • @CT2507 as i read about ueshiba, h edescribes his enlightenment as to have found God's love. but i also just read in one of your messages that you are not very convinced of Gods existence. in this way you dont take your master seriously. bruce lee might have become enlightened if he lived longer as well. he died so young. real master DO fight for the sake of good things. I their woman will be raped, I asure you they will fight. and someone with the grace of bruce cannot be 100% fake or bad

  • @Kapojos when did i ever say that im unconvinced of Gods existence? that is a missunderstanding on your part.

and Ueshiba is not my master. i just respect him alot for having mixed true spirtual life and attained self realization within his martial arts. thus refining his martial arts and even transcending it. i dont know of him having any enemies. his enemies or challengers ended up becoming his students.

what grace of bruce?! gracefuly breaking bones and maiming people?! :)

  • @CT2507 as you replied to someone a couple of months ago, the following words; 'it sells better in Hollywood! :) But what does God now have to do with it?! dont tell me u believe in God also??' this sounds to me like you dont believe! by the way i again checked some videos of Ueshiba and this is a fake, this the fake show-martial arts that bruce lee stood up to when he was alive. the attackers dont attack with any power! but its a nice dance though. yeah bruce his movements have grace,

  • @Kapojos keep on talking nonsense kid.

  • @CT2507 if you have eyes you can see his grace, which is quite special. maybe you dont have yet opened your eyes, as you have practised the ugly sport: mixed martial arts. sounds like you only choose for popular sports and ideas, such as mma, tai chi, and yoga. the yoga practised today is nothing compared to the authentic yoga, which is almost nowhere to find anymore. yogis are just helping the people to fall asleep, maybe thats why you dont see the beauty or spirt in bruce lee, you are in such

  • @Kapojos hehe...

  • @CT2507 @CT2507 you sound so cheap! i dont idolize bruce, he was just a human being like everyone else. i dont admire him becaue he was good in fighting. thats just the cheap way of looking, which you probable can do very well. you just see fighting, fighting and breaking bones. this is just theatre and the martial art as it is applied to street fighting. i admire bruce for being a creative, sensitive and expressive being, there is a lot of poetry to discover in his movements! IF you have eyes

  • @Kapojos lol...

  • @Kapojos and how dare u call Morihei Ueshiba a cheater kid!! Morihei Ueshiba is the pride of Japan and a national treasure. all challengers who came to him were defeted. u dont become an undefeated master with his reputation by sitting on your bum fiddling your thumbs and saying clever things. study his life!

besides, bruce just expressed himself in the only way he knew.. which was violence, and the only thing he still to this day inspires in people is agression and violence.

  • @CT2507 just stories, these oriental people know how to tell fantasies. as for the method of aikido, this is simple not very effective, on the street. as i see the videos and have experience with the techniques i can judge it. agression is just a part of life and he just helped the little chinese people stand up for themselves. its not complete true what you say. i dont experience so much agression in his movies. there is expression and power, but its not about the killing its about the movements

  • @Kapojos its about the beauty and creativity of the the movements, speed, emotion and personal expression. i think he was very sensitive as well. how else can you move like that, without feeling the beauty of life!

  • @Kapojos lol... what has beauty of life to do with the fact that he practiced to move slow or fast?!

u are idolizing him. that means, that what ever he does, u translate it into something attractive because u want to be like him.

i know where u are. i was in your shoes many years ago. but i got older and more mature. for me to look up to a person simply because they are good at fighting seems now jouvenile, and ouright rediculous.

  • @CT2507 yoga comfort that you are just fool yourself, this is very subtle, you think you know, but ofcourse you dont! you dont know and thats why youre here, to be able to fight in a very subtle way, to fight bruce and everyone who likes him. i dont believe you can call yourself a yoga teacher!!! or in a way i can, because its just the modern way of yoga, living on the surface of life and spreading fake knowledge.

  • @Kapojos hahaha... your arrogance and selfimportance is astounding. a true pupil and follower of bruce lee, kid! :)

keep it going, u are just confirming what i talk about when i say that he only attracts halfbrains.

  • @CT2507 he attracks you as well my friend, thats why youre here... by the way you keep saying he inspires streetfighters and stuff. but my experience is that most of the streetfighters or kickboxers dont like bruce lee anymore, they only like very big muscular fighters with no expression or any poetry, nothing but brutal power. they dont have time or patience to understand bruce lee anymore. so its no true what you say about this as well!

  • @CT2507 you should be happy about bruce lee! you dont believe in his spirituality and you say he just stole his wise words form other spiritual masters, but in the end he DID spread them!

  • @CT2507 ohh, i am starting to know you better now! why do you worry about bruce, who was gracefull and meaningfull, instead worrying about the crap world of the computergames and stuff like that! as i see on your profile! this is the biggest waste of time and the biggest marked to keep people asleep!!

  • @Kapojos :)... dont u worry about my interests. worry about violence first. weather i choose to sleep or not is nobodys business but mine.

  • @CT2507 haha ok thank you for admitting that you are just asleep! this is indeed not my business, but we were in discussion about spirituality and life and violence. your interest show that you dont understand violence! computergames ARE violence to the mind, body, spirit!

  • @Kapojos they remain stories until u have direct experience yourself.

u strike me as a superficial guy satisfied with what comes easy. surface living, never dive too deep to understand life. so that shows that the street level of thinking is good enough for u for now. keep on living that.

im talking from experience. several years of mixed marital arts, several years of Tai-Chi and 10 years of yoga of which 2-3 years i was an instructor. believe me i would not remain 10 years

    (cont)

  • @CT2507 (cont)

in yoga if it was bulshit. i was way to restless for that. what i found in yoga gave me 100 times more than what martial arts could ever give, in terms of direct understanding of myself as a spiritual entity living in a world of energy. through out-of-body experiences, lucid dreaming, clairvoyant states and so on...

it is a knowledge, that if u dont have u are left outside not knowing.

  • @CT2507 @CT2507 you didnt reply to all i was saying. yoga is about knowing God, as ueshiba described himself. which seemed to me you were declining. actually it doenst matter if you have 10 years or 100 years experience. i dont have to believe in this as you dont have to believe me as well. there are so many crap instructors, so this doesnt mean anything. yeah what comes easy is always the best! but in this i think you dont know what this means.

  • @Kapojos "...seemed to me you were declining" !?

sorry... but your ramblings make no sense.

if u want to win an argument choose someone your own age, and try to make better sense.

  • @CT2507 with what comes easy it means that which comes directly from nature or God or whatever. That connection with that which is bigger than just a human being, and provides us with energy. Bruce used the street situations, but it was much more than that, because you can tell by the way he moves and expresses himself, he had more spirit and more potential in growth than you will ever have. like all those hindu gods who sometimes kill and destroy, they have their own meaning in the creation

  • @Kapojos out of body experience, lucid dreaming, etc is not interesting, everybody can do that and many people already do it. as i am an artist i do this all the time, this is not special, its just normal. you talk about it like you are so proud, so much ego... like many yogis who act to be peacefull, but its all ego, showin off their ranks and years of experience.. i think bruce was much more loving and caring than many of us.

  • @Kapojos where is the pride in saying that i talk out of experience?

  • @Kapojos lol... u are using your lack of knowledge of the hindu Gods to justify bruces violence.

can u see bruces spirit in the way he moves?! :)... or do u just like to talk crap and fantazise about things u dont know.

i see a cocky guy who is full of himself whenever he moves, talks and expresses himself.

the reason why u cant see that is because u are still on that level. so there is no diference in his personality from u, only similarity.

  • @CT2507 and as i said in my first reaction; even your hero ueshiba will fight when his wife or child are being raped!! so dont come with the so called wisdom you have attained in being an egoist by doing nothing in such a situation!!

  • @Kapojos i never said that Ueshiba wouldnt defend his loved ones if necesary, nor would i stay out of a fight if my child got in harms way. but this is beside the point. this is not the issue im discussing here.

  • @MrSkywalker1977 if u want to take it like this then everything is spiritual growth. even the hardened criminal doing 40 years for rape and murder is going through mental and emotional growth while in jail.

but that is not what is classicaly meant by spiritual growth. spiritual growth is to actively diminsh ones ego and grow in the knowledge of the spirit. not enforce and inflate the ego even further... which is all bruce did.

    (cont)

  • @CT2507 (cont)

his training of himself mentaly as u call it, was only done to become a better fighter. notthing to do with spiritual interest. everything he did was in order to strengthen his fight.

even in Tai-Chi it is said that u can only truly learn Tai-Chi once u have stopped fighting. and they dont even proclaim their art to be a spiritual path.

so bruces path was miles away from anything to do with spiritual growth.

  • @CT2507 you need to gain knowledge of something before you put it down - you are a child that likes to argue and im sure u have been beaten up a lot, hence the anonymous arguements, i know u dont disagree with people like this to their face, what a shame you poor poor boy!

  • @MrSkywalker1977 hahaha... keep trying. and u believe yourself to be 40!? :)) ... lol

so by your line of thinking, u should be brave and stand for your convictions and dare to say stuff to the face of those u oppose!

u are impressed with courage, speed and flimsy pseudo spiritual one-liners, like "you are your own's greatest enemy" !! :))

only teenagers get impressed with such stuff.

so it may be that u are 40, but emotionaly u are still just a kid.

  • @CT2507 i said nearing 40 - u are a fake!!! if you had any knowledge then you would realise what you are sayin makes u sound like an embittered fool!!! i will waste no more time with you - i sincerely hope you grow in all sense of the word!

  • @MrSkywalker1977 hahaha... im fake!? ...lol... whats the inspiration for that one? sounds to me your belieftsystem is not as robust as u first thought. sounds like a man who's falling apart.

is that your final say!? seems like u should find other masters to look up too, cause the ones u have used till now have let u down. made u confused.

and dont u wory about my growth... better consider your own. seems to me u have been satisfied with the superficial till now. only skimming the surface.

  • ...and as i said, i have lots of knowledge about bruce lee his life and all his bullshit. i was training kungfu and dreaming to be like him for years. so i'm one of the best critics of that lifestyle. i have lived it.

but what u fail to understand is that a mature man can and should move on from the mindset of fighting.

  • @MrMilo13 Come on! Those guys .vs. Bruce Lee is already an unfair fight. It's already advantage Bruce Lee.

  • @ac98521 Lee was alive in 1966 dumb fucker.

  • @tonyvalente dumbass idiot! i said that the show stopped when he died! dumbass fucker!

  • @ac98521 Lee died in 73 you loser. The show was cxled after one season. hate your parents for teaching you nothing. total loser.

  • @tonyvalente cxled? stupid! it stopped a while then just continued! asshole!

  • ME VOY A VER LA PELICULA!

  • real kiais baby! -_-

  • This Show should have been named Kato and The Green Hornet.

  • Green Hornet was never the fighter, he was more of the detective and problem solver, and he also intimidated people with threats and words. Kato was the one who did the actual ass kicking and grunt work.

And yeah this show didn't give Bruce Lee much air until the very last episodes which sucks really, although they did improve on the Kato character who didn't really do much in the radio show besides be GH's Alfred (Still Bruce deserved a lot more)

  • ... i freaking LOVE Kato... :)

  • nothing is more painful than a bruce lee bitchslap 00:44

  • this looks a thouand times better than that crap Seth Rogen is in.

  • bruce was a bad mother........

  • kato vs bruce lee

  • @MrMilo13 Kato always was the superior. The Hornet is the brains and the face. Few criminals at the time the original Hornet was made for radio would associate with asians, so a white guy had to handle the business sense.

  • okay so kato beats everyones ass while the hornet says the lines thts basically the show

  • DAMN! That kick at 1:12 was awesome

  • LOL awesome, i like how the Green Hornet is fighting a thug or two and Kato is just KICKING ASS gracefully dealing with several.

  • how do their hats stay on? great scene!!!

  • its awesome to hear bruce's screams instead of the dubbed his chinese movies

  • One thing you could say about Van Williams was, that like George Lazenby at the very end of Bruce's life, he saw past race, didn't even register it (unusual for the WASP 60s of Hollywood), and knew what a formidable talent lay in Lee's deceptively small frame.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 well said!

  • How could 2 people give this "Thumbs down"? This is great stuff. It's Bruce Lee man!

  • I was wondering if the TV Green Hornet ever used his gas gun like he did here

    Or just farted on them....

  • Quit hating on Van Williams, guys! Yes, Bruce Lee was awesome, but there's no reason to put down Van Williams simply because Bruce Lee wasn't the star of the show.

  • @vipersquad Great point bro. Van Williams was friends with Bruce all the way until his untimely death. He was one of the few people who worked with him in Hollywood who sincerely cared about him outside the studio.

  • the look on green hornets face after the screaming jump kick was like your stealing my show

  • @cage987 That's not true. Van Williams always pushed for Bruce Lee having a bigger part.

  • @ironman004 joking only joking

  • Bruce Lee was just so darn fast!!!!!!!!

  • The Green Hornet was played by Van Williams. he was a judo player and had experience in rondori. Van loved Bruce Lee and always gave him the credit he deserved. So stop hating the wrong guy. We should be hating Tom Bleecker who wrote a terrible book about Bruce Lee after Linda Lee divorced him only after one year of marriage.

  • @clearcombat "Unsettled Matters" was not all untrue but a lot of the material and how he obtained it was dubious.

  • Holy SHIT, wireless TV remote in the 60s!?

  • Couldn't survive MMA

  • @ratliff2006 I think he would've done well.. Bruce Lee had undoubtedly very strong will and determination. After all, he is called The Master. His devotion and dedication in learning more and focusing on becoming a better martial art fighter was obvious right? With proper training I think he would have killed everyone in the lightweight

  • JIJIJIJ TODOS SE LA PELABAN A KATO

  • Lol! It was hilarious how in 0:58 those guys walk right into the Hornet's slow kick.

  • Bruce is clearly the man BUT

The guy playing Green Hornet has plenty of heat to. Hde really is doing his thing and his physical performances has a convincing authority to them.

  • kato never gets hit..lol

  • @MrMilo13 LOL

  • Just amazing how quick Bruce Lee is. And strong.

  • 1:14 best part!!!

  • Not just the fight scenes, but the music is very 60s cool. It just makes our heroes that much more slick and bad-ass.

  • brandon would of made a great kato

  • That is one powerful backhand..

  • i never seen in my life people on that way, I got a huge sense of justice, that has carried me so many troubles in my whole life, goverment, jobs, etc.

What I'm saying is clear, bruce needs to be recognize from the begining , that is happend with people in Arizona right now, SB 1070 think about it before you talk

  • Fucking racism made him to play second fiddle, that is why we miss the best of bruce, wasting movie rolls, on green hornet, he should be from the begining the star, but is a shame there is not a turning back ..!!

  • @masajhn, uh, it's not "racism," chief. If you go to China (where I've been) or most any other culture, you'll see that their heroes tend to LOOK LIKE THE PEOPLE WITHIN THAT CULTURE. It's the norm for humanity. So you condemn your own culture for doing what all cultures do? Wow, that's smart.

  • Hollywood is still racist today. Look at the Prince of Persia and The Last Airbender. John Wayne played Genghis Khan and what about Charlie Chan? It is so common they even have a name for it Yellow-facing and White-washing. So how could you defend and say they weren't racist in the 60s when blacks were being beaten by cops of all people not just racist dudes but the lawmen that were sworn to serve and protect and uphold the rule and justice.

  • @santarosaguy, listen, if you want to see "racism," go to other cultures, as I said above. For example, in Mexico, an immigrant who becomes naturalized will NEVER enjoy the full rights of citizenship. It's in their Constitution. As for Hollywood, it's run by liberals as politically correct as can be. They're your fellow travelers. Anyway, it's time to grow up. Stupid adults brainwashed you with paranoia about racism your whole life and skewed reality for you. Seek Truth, not leftist ideology.

  • @OutlanderWarrior, wow as if I couldn't guess. Everyone listen to this clown defending rasicist people because he is racist now he is accusing me of being a leftist.. I am staunch right wing Republican so stop your accusations and assumptions. If you believe that this country is free of racism then you also believe in the Tooth Fairy. Now who is the one who needs to grow up? Hollywood gave the Kung Fu series to Carridine when it was promised to Bruce and was Bruce's idea.. Nuff Said. Pwn.

  • @santarosaguy, man, you're dumb. First, "racist" has no s in it, Einstein. Next, anyone who'd believe you're a right-wing Republican would probably believe in the Tooth Fairy. You have Obama voter written all over you. You, boy, are a LIAR.

  • @OutlanderWarrior outlader u must me white thats why ur an outlander..and if ur warrior then green hornet can beat up kato....lol

  • @OutlanderWarrior

Hello, I am an Asian actor. I get typecast into minor roles and stereotypical roles because my smaller frame and facial structure is not considered attractive enough to be the lead.

Hello, I am an Indian actor. Haha, my accent is funny. Let's emphasize it in every scene I'm in.

Hello, I am a Persian actor. Where the hell am I?

The fuck there is no racism in Hollywood. It's all white and black people out there.

  • @Bottery, So who's discriminating against whom? Did the whites and blacks have a meeting and decide to discriminate against everyone else? Buddy, let me give you a clue. When I went to Taiwan, guess what? Almost all the people on TV were Chinese. We live in a nation that is still mostly white (and 13 percent black. However, the blacks get more roles than one might expect because of political correctness), and it's not anyone's obligation to institute a quota system for actors. Wise up.

  • @OutlanderWarrior It is not about the racial makeup of movie stars, but the depiction.

Racism isn't just something that everyone decides to do. It is an underlying sentiment that stems from ignorance. The media has a huge hand in influencing it, and it is important that they do it responsibly. There is racism in Hollywood. There is still racism in the USA. The solution is not more ignorance, but education.

Just because a man gets up and talks about a dream doesnt mean its fixed.

  • @Bottery, sorry, kid, but the one who needs education is you. You've been brainwashed with PC propaganda. What you are calling "racism" is often just a reflection of reality. Groups have different tendencies, due to acculturation, and this is often reflected in art. I have German ancestors, and when you see a German on TV, he's usually a Nazi, a psychiatrist or a mad scientist. Is this bigotry? Should I take offense at it? Only a dope does. Grow up, wise up, and transcend the PC conditioning.

  • @OutlanderWarrior

I understand how you have have that outlook, seeing as you've never had any experience with racism. Me and all of my friends have suffered incidents of abuse at one point simply because we were nonwhites. My friends who are Indian and Pakistani have probably had it worst, even though they are probably the most intelligent people I know. Racism is a reality but it doesn't have to be that way. The worst thing you can do is pretend it isn't there.

  • Thank you for revealing your prejudice. Namely, that white people can't be victims of bigotry. I grew up in an inner city area and was subject to the anti-white bigotry of certain minorities. But guess what? That's part of life. Bigotry exists, just as lust, greed and envy do. In other words, bigotry is just one of many faults exhibited by man, so focusing on it inordinately is a prejudice itself. But you should be more concerned with the prejudice in your heart, which you just revealed here.

  • @OutlanderWarrior

If you were yourself a victim of bigotry, why are you so certain that it doesn't exist or shouldn't be addressed?

  • It's hard having a conversation with a person who doesn't try to comprehend what's being said. I never said it didn't exist; I said something else entirely. And although I'm probably talking to a wall, I'll give it one more try. Acknowledging that there are differences among groups and reflecting that in art isn't bigotry but an acknowledgment of reality. Bigotry is when you hold irrational negative beliefs about a group. You should be able to understand that, unless your biases blind you.

  • @OutlanderWarrior dude its racism the majority of americans are racist against atleast one race

  • Read all my postings here if you want to understand why your comment smacks of naivete. (I won't, however, rehash what I've already said.) The only thing I'll tell you is that the majority of the WORLD is "racist" (to use that played-out term) against at least one race. In fact, if you want to witness real bigotry, travel abroad a bit. Most people outside the Western world have no qualms about being bigoted. They just think they're expressing reality. To not understand this is naivete.

  • @masajhn Mr. Lee knew very well how to move up in the biz here in the U.S.. He may have played the side man, but,he did it so well,he made it his own,and kids liked Kato way more than the Green Hornet. He redefined the character of Kato from just a driver and butler to a well trained fighting machine that assisted the grand nephew of the Lone Ranger. His talent got his movies over here from his work on the Green Hornet.

  • @masajhn

Well no, actually Kato made him play second fiddle, because Kato was second fiddle.

  • 0:36 not necessary at all

  • I love it! Kato kicked butt!!!!!

  • This is the Green Hornet.

  • Lol, one of my favorites XD And i fall for his "original" screams XD Not only he had shockingly strong hands and feet, but a funnily strong voice too XD

  • Bruce Lee is the man!

    Yep. No problem at all."

  • hey he had strong lungs I bet he was holding his breath

  • Dude, this Bruce Lee we're taking about. He'd knock the freakin gas out!

  • lmao! hell yeah.

  • if those guys with the guns were smart enough they wouldnt have come close to bruce lee

  • A little bit of overkill there ehh bruce??? 1:18-1:21.

  • nah when it comes to bruce there's not enough kill
