  • I KEEP GETTING UNABLE TO PLAY VIDEO MESSAGES EVERYTIME I try to play mumia ones only. Been like that the past week.

    Maria

  • This is a great commentary, as usual. Mumia, we love you.

  • Free Mumia! He is a political prisoner.

  • The Bush-Clinton monarchy began in 1980. When will it end?

  • Even though Mumia is in prison, he's free in more ways than most. Thank you, Mumia, for everything you have given us.

  • WOW He wat he said at the end turned out to be true now.....

  • Really really great stuff here. I think people are starting to get wise to the fact that the Anybody But Bush/less-of-two-evils rhetoric only ensures Democrats are entitled to progressive votes that they don't deserve. Meanwhile our civil liberties are being eroded more and more as the political discourse in this country shifts to the right.

  • @radioamor I didn't respect Obama and I told his campaigners that he was the "same ole same ole" but then I got caught up in all the fear that McCain/Palin would be elected and I got caught up in the happiness that the US actually voted in a black president. I have to admit I was stupidly hopeful. I haven't voted in a presidential election for over 15 years. I got tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. We don't live in a democracy so I thought I wouldn't participate in the charade.

  • finally

Aphex Twin: Outside - Kick Ass (Violin Solo)

  • @horrigen thank you!

  • Fry Mumia.

Anybody that has carefully and objectively looked at all of the evidence knows he's guilty as hell -especially native Philadelphians. Anybody else notice that the farther you get away from Philly the more innocent the dupes think he is? Case in point: they actually named a street after this low life in France.

And I just love his totally phony vocal delivery style. He must have been a titty bar DJ in a previous life. Classy stuff.

  • @zeke1672 He's innocent.

  • @zeke1672 That's right. The further you get from Philly, the further you get from the LIES fed to Philadelphians. You've chosen to believe the newspapers and you believe their reporting is a careful analysis of the case. YOU don't represent everyone in Philadelphia. And YOU are a violent person and are the opposite of refined. I HAVE CAREFULLY ANALYZED THE CASE. MUMIA IS INNOCENT. AND THAT IS WHY YOU DON'T WANT A NEW TRIAL.

  • @elizabethfaraone Me, a violent person? I've never hurt anybody in my life, but I grew up in the kind of slums that breed killers like Mumia and I've seen the damage that they do. Also, let me congratulate you for being one of the very few Mumia advocates who can actually put together a coherent paragraph. There might be hope for you yet.

  • @zeke1672 You are a shallow elitist. You've lived a very limited life and know nothing, but you think you know it all. You can read and write but that doesn't mean that you are a critical thinker. There is no hope for you. Our duty is to prevent you from holding any position of power and to remove you from any position of power you may hold. What's your name?

  • @zeke1672 You say "Fry Mumia" and then say you are not a violent person. You've never hurt anyone? You hurt someone everyday, but live in denial of your destructiveness. I suppose you believe "hurting someone" is punching them in the face, or something like that. You may be able to convince others that you have never hurt anyone, but you won't convince me.

  • @elizabethfaraone Oh great.... more armchair psychoanalysis by another one of Mumia's many dupes. Two can play that game: What you don't understand is that you are too left wing to be completely objective and too naive to know it. Your ideological outlook has you constantly banging your head against the bricks of reality. Where the rationalist would say "Maybe I should stop banging my head" you curse the bricks instead. The bricks will always be there; you can't wish them away.

  • @zeke1672 That's right. We bang our heads against brick walls and those brick walls are self-centered people like you who don't know right from wrong and instead berate those who do. You probably have Asperger's Syndrome and can't connect to anyone. Or you're simply a reckless psychopath. You don't intimidate me and you never will. It would be nice if we could wish people like you away, but we are plagued with you. Your destructiveness is overwhelming.

  • @elizabethfaraone So far you've called me a shallow elitist, a violent person, an Asperger"s victim, and even a "reckless Psychopath" and yet you still envision yourself as the good guy in this little tit for tat war. Maybe you are a little shallow and violent yourself. And now you want to talk about intimidation? Good grief lady, you started all this, remember? Everything that you've said could easily be seen as an attempt to silence me via intimidation. It won't work.

  • @zeke1672 I ask again: What is your full name?

  • @elizabethfaraone You've got to be kidding? Why in the hell would I give a perfect stranger my full name? I've already had my identity stolen once and I'm not going to let it happen again. And I'm sure that it's lost on you that to even make such a request is an act of intimidation; there is an implied threat. Anyway, I think that we've reached the point where we should just agree to disagree and move on. This is getting tedious don't you think? Goodbye and good luck.

  • @zeke1672 You don't give your name because you know that you are are a brute and are ashamed and fear retribution. But don't worry, I'm not violent. But you have lots to worry about from others who cross your path. Since you are a hostile and heartless person, you're likely to be treated in a violent manner by someone else. And talk about paranoid - how could I steal your identity by knowing your name. It takes a lot more information than that.

  • @elizabethfaraone There you go with the name calling again, another fine example of liberal tolerance and understanding. Ask my family if I'm "hostile and heartless". I just don't suffer fools very well. And wait till you get your identity stolen and see if you're not a little paranoid. Besides, there's no legitimate reason for giving you my full name; you could only be up to mischief. And as for the "others who cross my path: I'm a 6ft, 220lb Army veteran. I think I can take care of myself.

  • @zeke1672 More proof that you are a violent man. An Army man. Your brutality doesn't intimidate me. Your affection for your family and their support of you does not prove that you are not violent. You continue to express yourself in a violent manner. I, on the other hand, do not believe in violence or revenge. I wouldn't care if my identity was stolen. I'm sure you didn't lose anything, just a little bit of sleep and a little inconvenience. But you've blown it way out of proportion. Poor you.

  • @elizabethfaraone The more experiences I have with people like you the more I believe Michael Savage when he says that liberalism is a mental disorder. You've been attacking me with every post, but somehow I'm the violent one. You just can't stand it that I don't agree with you about Mumia. And yes, I'm an Army veteran -how terrible that I would choose to serve my country. And you don't know a thing about identity theft. It took me years to win back my good name. I await your next attack.

  • whats the song at the end please?

song at start is clearly bonobo..but whats at the end?

    free mumia

  • again mumia is totally right!

  • new mumia videos on my page

  • If i lived in U.S, i would vote Nader =P

  • I voted Nader as well...Now look what you have....Obama, the new war President...

  • he'll bring change....eventually!! yeah right

  • Comment removed

  • I am proud to say I voted for Ralph Nader!

  • i'd rather have voted for mckinney. having nader/gonzalez and mckinney/perez split the progressive vote.

  • Nader/Gonzalez placed third billed as the "true opposition" to the cfr duopoly........should have had Ralph in the debates

  • would you not say though that mckinney/clemente (meant to write clemente originally) were also worthy of a vote as well?

  • would have been my 2nd choice for sure. worthy for sure, yes.

  • "this years model is the non-bush brand"

    funny funny funny!

  • Man alot of what Mumia said about obama is what i'v been saying for a while to people

but they just tell me im' negative

  • did mumia pass away

  • free mumia!!!, i will be ever grateful to you for not giving up on the society that wrongfully imprisoned you. that you for your light. god bless.

  • Ralph Nader is a Great American Hero, like Eugene Debs. He has a 50 year track record of fighting for The People and Mother Nature!

  • mumia ve got it right.

could anyone tell me the name of the ending song please?

fists in the air in the land of hypocrisy!

  • WELCOME your NEW Friends--Damascus, 26 March (AKI) - Around 12,000 Iraqi refugees living in Syria will be resettled in Europe and the United States, according to an official from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Germany, the US, Canada,The Netherlands and other countries, have agreed to host a number of Iraqi refugees in Syria, an unnamed source told Adnkronos International (AKI).

  • Ralph Rocks!

Way to go Mumia; good call.

You are right, folks haven't studied

Obama's positions: he's mainly just running the same plays as Bush did.

  • this was fantasic

  • could someone tell me if they know the starting song, ive heard it before and it rules. Please.

  • I could not believe when I was at a party last night THIS SONG CAME ON!! It was on a CD and nobody, even the DJ who was playing it, could tell me who it was! I asked everyone there. Someone said Apex Twin but other's said he was wrong.

  • I think it's by Bonobo.

  • ralph nader is more conservative than most modern republicans (aka neocons)

  • yes I agree and always try to help youtube title "conservative ralph nader" by the southern avenger on YouTube it is easy to find if you search it out.

  • Mumia speaks truth....we should've all voted for Cynthia Mckinney or Ralph Nader

  • killl your mother for pooting you out, then free mumia

  • I think u need to take a long look and re-evaluate your worldview...

  • fry your mother you fascist pig

  • Mumia perfectly articulates the real truth of the two party doctrine pushed by the media within 3 minutes.

  • 2 great hero's ..thanks for this great interview ...

  • go nader!

  • Funny to see the Klan using YouTube message boards and "LOL" chat lingo.

  • free Mumia Abu Jamal

  • 109w641

Mumia Abu Jamal is on death row 4 a crime he never commited.

If U had just a drop of a brain like he has, mayb u would think b4 u made such a racist comment.

    My comment 2 U is FU>K OFF>

  • Obama is a manchurian candidate, we´ll become the same US-British imperialism like before, only now driven by "leftist" arguments like human rights, hope, change and so on, the difference may be that the neocon´s insanity was limited, they picked only very weak countries, while the insanity of Obamas mastermind Zbig is unlimited, he wants to pick them all: Pakistan, Russia, China, India..., and what you US fellows will have in 4 years, is some change left in ya pockets, if your lucky...

  • Mumia Abu Jamal speaking some hard core truths here. Nader talks about the plight of black people in the US and Obama talks about "the middle classes".

If you hand someone documents of what Nader has said under the election race and then hand them documents of what Obama has said they would think that Nader was the BLACK MAN.

  • oops my nice little drawing doesn't seem to work. But, indeed, there is still something wrong with the position of these 2 men, that night.

  • Faulkner - - - - Mumia

How could Faulkner shoot Mumia in that trajectory of Bullet, if Mumia shot him to death at close range? And how Mumia could shoot Faulkner at close range, from the upper, once down on the ground?

  • Love how he tells the truth

Love how he is called a "cop killer"

Love how no one cant call him a liar

  • well said.

  • It is so sad that a man like Nader has been buried and the media refuses to even acknowledge him as a candidate. As much as I feel Obama's speeches are inspirational, I wouldn't take a bullet for him. That is something I'd be willing to do for a man like Nader. Long live Nader. A real hero. One who does it for good and not for fame. As he said in his documentary, he doesn't care about his legacy. Though, I hope he knows, it's a brilliantly bright one that inspires the good in all of us.

  • You are perhaps not aware that Nader is a union buster of some renown.

  • Not many white people would take a bullet for a black man. See the civil rights movement. There were a few sprinkles in the crowd, but not many. So trust me, I believe and know many white people WOULD NOT TAKE A BULLET FOR A BLACK MAN. It takes a special human being to be human.

  • LISTEN.. LEARN...NADER IS WISE..

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

  • w w w dot votenader dot o r g

    Vote Nader/Gonzalez 2008!

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

  • you cnt just say black people are racist and violent because who blew up that building in oklahoma? a white guy. Who is usaually kidnappers? white people and this is coming from a white guy so just realize that black people arent always and usually ever bad

  • You are right, not all people are generally evil. Unfortunately you are posting on the video of a loser mfer that ended one cop's life for no reason. He can enunciate with the best of them, but scum is still scum, don't be fooled!

  • yea....that wasn't actually proven to be the case.

  • Ralph, Mike, Ron, Dennis your values are too good, if these guys don't get the seat, then they're lucky, have the republicrats run another term & inherit wat mess bush left behind & see what big messes will happen in the coming 4 years thanks to them, just remember ppl, if your country falls it won't be because of the 4 names i mentioned they should be the new Mt Rushmore

  • Don't be Played-A-Fool voting for the RepubliCrats!

Democrats and Republicans are essentially the same.

We've had plenty of time to see that.

    NADER/Gonzalez = WE the PEOPLE

    Democrat/Republican parties = THEY the CORPORATION$

  • Things *are* going to be worse, but that's because the bad effects of the Bush presidency are going to take time to hit, not because of Obama.

Mumia's being extremist and perfectionist here, and its destructive--Obama has criticized racism, and his wife has said, "as a black man, Barack could get shot going to the gas station."

For the good of the entire world, Mumia should be supporting Obama, because every color person in the world needs the US to wind down the war.

  • but barack has continued to vote for war funding and says their is no deadline for withdrawl and on and on and on with invasion of Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan. he wants to modernize our military as if we can't kill every human on the earth already...........research obama= he is a military hawkish republican neo con.

  • Exactly, When our people going to wake up the Republicans and Democrats all serve the NWO & the Corporations. Our govt. needs to get the HELL out of the War business. Peace with Nader 08!

  • White people can get shot going to the gas stationjust because they are white! I know because my good friend was shot while talking on a pay phone by black men who hate white people. They said so once caught.

  • Thank you Mumia for not supporting color over quality. Nader is a LIVING NATIONAL TREASURE... we are so fortunate to have! In a color-free world, Mumia would not be criticized as being "extremist"! How awful!

  • Watch Ralph Nader on Dr. Phil online

    type in Airport Assault

  • Free Mumia!

  • WHATS THE MUSIC NEAR THE END? ITS SWEET

  • Are you prepared to consume a fake "Debate" once again?

(paid for by your "Friends" on Wall Street)

*Not Nader & Paul Main Street

  • i am so into this guy.

  • w00t! votenader08 i agree! SUBSCRIBE to votenader08!!!

    Nader\Gonzalez o8!!!

  • Do you think that Homeland Security should go to the prison and arrest Mumia for suspicion of terrorism for this commentary?

  • "Bet you want the plunger" LMAO!!!

I've changed career goals and am now in Communications, that's why. I have a clean record and excellent health as a former pro fighter.

I don't want to put a bullet in your head. You just kept insulting me and I spouted off some ignorance. "Philly's Finest", huh?

I hope your not on their P.R. department.

I seriously like the plunger joke, though. At least you got a sense of humor.

  • How is it that the corporate media machine helped idealize the image of the Philadelphia Homicide Division (that falsely accused Mumia of redrum) by writing and promoting a top TV Show about them...

"Cold Case" - Philly Homicide show, one of the top rated shows on TV.

The Masters create and promote shows that idealize the CIA, Torture, the Court system and on and on.

    Conditioning?

    Kill your TV.

    Vote Nader.

  • I love this video!

    One American Truth-teller describes another.

Many Americans just can't understand these voices. They vote for Hotties and Beer heirses for President.

    Nader all the way!!

  • Growing up in Los Angeles I have witnessed police prejudice/abuse. Living in the bible belt of Florida now. North Florida = third world idealism! I honestly thought that the KKK was in history books. They are perfectly active here. I was actually called white trash for having black friends. I am still scratching my head! These folks are generally un-educated and have never ventured out of their own communities. As to Nader, I am voting for Nader this year. He, in my mind is our only solution.

  • A lot of mumia supporters hate cops, so your not going to convince any of them

  • Fuck da police!

  • lol! Okay...you're welcome :)

  • Good for you, tough guy.

  • Abu Jamal is a wrongly convicted man; a political prisoner. If you researched the facts of the case you would see that.

I assume you are for the death penalty. Look at all the poeple being let off death row because of DNA evidence. People who many thought at one time deserved to die.

"I would rather see 10 guilty men live, than to see one innocent man die!" Sir Walter Blackstone

  • I was wondering just what kind of facts you're talking about. People love calling him a politcal prisoner when theres really no reason he would be. I was also wondering what part of the country you're from because it seems like everyone who actually lives in philly knows this guy is guilty as sin.

  • I've read a lot about the case. Philly police are notorious for their roughhouse/illegal tactics. Those of us not from Philly are lucky to have a detached view, then...

  • "Notorious for their roughhouse/illegal tactics"? Where did you get that info? Your not from Philly and have never had any contact with a Philly cop. That's a prejudice statement if I've every heard one.

Thats like me saying, anyone with the screen name nportillo73 is a stupid asshole who believes everything he/she reads.

  • poCyllihP- Please. I've only read many books and seen much video footage of cops beating fools down and setting fools up. I was a criminal justice major and was thisclose to going to law school.

You a Philly cop or related to one? Why the visciousness?

Calling me a stupid asshole, like, hurts my feelings and shit.

  • Read my screen name backwards. Good thing your sharp mind didn't go to law school. The prisons are crowded enough.

You clearly "feel luck to have a detached view" of Philly cops.? That's an insult to every hard working Philly cop who puts their life on the line every day for a bunch of thankless pricks like you. Maybe Philly is a city full of murderous thugs that needs aggressive cops to keep these "fools" in order. So enjoy reading your books and watching your videos and feel safe doing it...

  • Yeah, I've been harrassed by your kind, simply for doing nothing but minding my own business. I was actually going to enter the police academy and be a homicide detective.

"Good thing your sharp mind didn;t go to law school." Yeah, like I'm going to put a mirror to screen names so I can figure them out.

I hope someone puts a bullet in your skull. You and your kind deserve it. Pay back for the poor and oppressed. The Thin Blue Line justifies all your behavior. Bet you have a plunger, huh

  • Why don't you try to put a bullet in my head?

It seems to me that you were denied by your local police dept. and now your a hater.

So you WERE going to go to law school and you WERE going to be a homicide detective huh. What do you do except dream?

So the poor kid was stopped by the cops and now he feels harrassed. Never heard that one before. I think it's because of your race, gender, size and class. Bet you want the plunger.

  • are u sure about that... because it seems that only some white in philly beleives that mumia is guilty not all but some....

  • Yes im positive. Im not saying just white people either. People of all races and backgrounds beleive he is guilty.

  • are u from philly because i am and i go to all the free mumia rallies, along with tens of thousands of other people from philadelphia, as well as thousands from around the world

  • Yes I am from Philly. I have been to free Mumia events and to say tens of thousands I beleive is a bit excessive although I will not call you to the carpet about it because I never counted, it was usually by accident I would run into the events. But I can also promise you that just about any international people there were not there to debate his innocence or guilt as they could probably care less but there to protest the death penalty. Atleast thats what I ve noticed.

  • "tens of thousands"? Nah, a few hundred.

  • to holgerkraft: Bush should leave office, and then he should go directly to jail for being a traitor and a war criminal, and Cheney should share a cell with him.

    truth yes

  • So you're incapable of independent thought (or apparently reasoning, if you lump Paul and Nader together), and can only repeat things other people say. Oh, hows that tinfoil hat coming along?

  • huh im not following this conversation. nader and paul do differ. They represent two idealistic types of thought. paul is for lassie fair type of government and nader is for more regulation, to keep our food safe, stop corruption in Washington. etc.

there at opposite ends of the spectrum.

  • The two of them should do their own debates, a kind of traveling roadshow. The American people should hear real differences of opinion based on good old-fashioned American principles.

  • You know your wish kinda came true there are some clips with paul endorsing voting for third party because he doesn't endorse his own party's leader mccain. I think paul has shown alot of guts coming out against him. And although as I said Nader and Paul have different viewpoints, there have many things they have in common. Look at naders you tube. there are clips of them together on CNN. they found there are many points they all agree on including other 3rd party candidates.

  • awesome post thanx

  • Mumia and Nader. Both silenced for telling truth to power.

    Stand up for both!

    Vote Nader!

    Free Mumia!

  • Or is obama maybe I WHITE man trying to be a BIT black?

  • free mumia abu jamal!!

  • Generally, the total cost of keeping someone incarcerated for life is less than executing them.

If this wasn't Mumia Abu Jamal, would you still disregard this comment as hallucinatory?

  • i hope they let nader debate.

  • They won't let him, but we'll have to demand inclusion of third party representaion.

Join the Nader campaign super rally at devver to for opening the debates.

    Watch youtube videos entitled:

"Could this happen to Ron Paul"

    and youtube video entitled:

  • Obama is getting a free ride from the media, only because he is black. --- Mumia Abu Jamal

  • America! Shake off the shackles of your polyarchy! Vote Ralph Nader '08! And write in Noam Chomsky for VP for good measure. One to clean up your air, the other your foreign policy. Don't do it for the world, do it for the US!

  • ah well mumia, there goes your clemency from obama lol.

nah but seriously keep it up my friend

  • Lol! Yeah, I know huh...

Well, he didn't gt one from Clinton either.

Oh wait, Jamal didn't have millions of dollars to contribute to the Democrat Party and buy a pardon, unlike Clinton's buddies...

  • Right on!

Abu Jamal, a political prisoner, has always been an articulate man who knows what he's talking about.

I am so glad to hear this coming from him.

  • Obama voted for telecom immunity, says he will leave up to 50,000 troops in Iraq, wants to send 10's of thousands of troops to Afghanistan, says nuclear power is on the table, impeachment is off the table, on and on.

Why is it I am supposed to vote for Obama? I forgot!

I am for Nader all the way!

    Peace.

  • Ralph is a Lebanese American yet you'd never know it by looking at him or listening to him, does anyone accuse him of not being "Lebanese enough"? I fully support Ralph Nader but I didn't really like these comments he made about Obama.

All that matters is that Obama is a corporate, Clintonoid Democrat like any other. and he's only half black anyway.

  • Well put!!!

  • Nader/Gonzalez 2008

  • Both the 2000 and 2004 elections were stolen there is no reason to assume this one 08 wont be also. But Obama is a Corporate Insider of a differant complexion,Skin deep change..A feel good candidate to revive the electorate confidance in the system a candidate chosen by the Bilderbergs and CFR..WE THE People must fight for change if we ever expect to get it..it will not be handed over to us on a PLATTER..in the mean time vote Nader,Paul and McKinney

  • nader is the most qualified presidential candidate!

  • VOTE GREEN PARTY 2008 Mckinney / Clemente

first black woman and Puerto Rican woman in the House

  • I agree with many of the statements here, but I get very annoyed that the political Left spends WAY more time critiquing Obama than they do critiquing McCain!

McCain will be worse than Obama by almost any measure.

  • So many comments here are based on the the "fact" that Democracy actually exists and your vote actually matters. What a joke. I like Nader but of course he's unelectable.

  • even as an anarchist and a canadian I can say that Ron Paul is the closest possible thing to a free society for americans at this state in time unless something radical is done about the government.

  • Frickn' Perfect video!

Mumia callin' it striaght about Nader Bringing it to "the Man". All while the flock cowers inside the pen, thinkin' they're free.

  • I've been listening to MAJ for sometime now. He is about the brightest commentator out there. I won't disagree with his assessment of ABB nor Obama. He's right on Nader's comments as well. But I won't go so far as to endorse Nader with this. I remember the Pinto and the 5mph exploding gas tank. Nader is indeed for the common man. But I feel he's stuck in a political rut much like Jackson in the 80s. Ralph, you're great, but we need fresh blood to go to the next level. You can help us do that.

  • I have been listening to MAJ's commentaries on WBAI for a few years, and he has always been very accurate.

Thanks for uploading this! Please, if anyone agrees with Ralph's positions, why not donate what you are able. I am not affiliated with the campaign, but I have donated. It doesn't have to be much, just be as generous as you can.

  • i have donated too i hope this comment gets posted

  • I am positive the campaign appreciates your effort. Now if there were just a few more of us...

  • If you want more details on Mumia's opinion you can google search "Is Obama's victory our's? by Mumia Abu Jamal". It was released this month as well I think. Goes into more detail. thank you for the comment sir.

  • Nice post!

  • good stuff. does anyone. does anyone know what track that is at the end of the interview?

  • The gentle, intellectual assessment of the current events given by Mumia Abu Jamal leaves no question that the call for change must redirect voters toward Nader.

It also speaks to the need to question the death penalty, for whatever crime.
