@EntinludeX confer my reply to C603032. i agree that to a considerable degree the lyrics do kind of defeat the point of what teal'c is all about, but i just wanted to harness the power of the song for him, y'know?

@HorusNikopol ahh, but the song was like a theme to his old days and at the same time showing that he is defying them. I also like to point out that stargates doesn't say there is no gods, but they have been deceived to think the gaul are the gods.

point and case, one of the characters in the Pegasus galaxy is name is Aries. so far (see only all of sg1 and one season of Atlantis) we don't know if the altearens believed in a god.

@EntinludeX Stargate SG-1 never said the gods were false, simply asserting that the various enemy alien races posed as the gods in order to further their own ends. They used the myths of the races they encountered and enslaved in order to gain greater control.

Just thought I'd clear that up, though you still do have a point there. lol

Did you think the sex scene was appropriate for Stargate. Its the first sex scene in the franchise. I thought it was weird seeing that in Stargate. I guess they are trying to attract different audiences. I can't wait for the next episode. O'Neil is kind of chubby since the Stargate Continuum.

yeah he is, but whatever, he's still jack and that's what counts. im really looking forward to the next SG-1 movie with him. you're right, you don't usually see sex in stargate, but i thought it was alright. it's all a little more realistic, and since it was only a few seconds and therefore not totally "in your face", i thought it was okay.
