@LavaFlaminG6 i think i've heard of that one, but i don't usally go for the sniper rifles. i'm more of an SMG kinda guy, but i can understand that a .50 would be alot more effective as a bolt-action, considering a semi-auto .50 would blow the target's arm off, and probably you're own with the recoil.

@MrAxellie I don't know an easy way to open Console, but follow these steps and it would work:

1. L4D2 shortcut on desktop might not work (cuz of steam) so make a new shorcut for L4D2

2. In shortcut properties you will have someting similiar to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\l­eft 4 dead 2\left4dead2.exe"

3. Now you will just add " -console" after that line. like: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\l­eft 4 dead 2\left4dead2.exe" -console

I actually find the MP5 to be much better than any of the assault rifles. It has amazing hip fire accuracy, well balanced rate of fire, and good damage, recoil is decent too.

As for the steyr scout, its damage is akin to the ever reliable M14, but even more accurate, has a slower rate of fire, but a very fast reload time

Second: You NEED to enable the developer console under the mouse/keyboard options. I believe you did that, now press the button LEFT of keyboard 1, not numpad 1, above Tab, below ESC. If you're having trouble with it, change your keyboard language to US, invoke a console then change it back. Check the L4D wikia for keyboard commands, or just change it in windows.
