Hay this for vid tryed this and I shot it a few times then it ran and I did what you said and it came bk I got out of boat and ran up to it and it weren't hitting me so I would recommend doing the following: when it runs and comes bk just incase it with a ip and get 6 or so then just flex then punish ect ect till it dies in would only do it if you have 50 ua because if it hasn't worked and it hits you, you may die
@iPlaTiuMv6 Well it will not hit you if it is trying to deaggro you which you can tell by the olive branch next to its portrait. However it may become aggressive again and it may kill you in one hit if you don't have very high UAC/ high MC with a shield using shield maneuver. In general until you can one hit it with a sting it's much faster and safer to just kill it from a boat. Note even if the bear is trying to deaggro you it will still attack your boat if you are in it.
@vihusa44555 I traded for it. Find someone who already hunts bears and boars and find out what they want for it. My sling is a q 40 I think. Just be careful who you approach. the guy who sold me mine wanted blueberries, next time they may want perch. It varies.
@vihusa44555 If you can't find someone to trade you will have to make one out of rabbit hides as leather, and your highest q plant fibres as string. Then once you have the sling try and kill a boar with it, using the method in this and the boar hunting vid. Once you kill it make it's hide into leather for a higher q, also if your string is below the quality of the hide, kill another boar and cut it into hide straps. Then with the higher q sling kill a bear and do the same thing.
@HsuSkater I wouldn't feel too bad, most of my attempts were misses. Mine is 55 currently, but I'm trying to get to 100. Will take some time, let me tell you.

Tip: Only shoot the bear when it twitches, it won't run that way.
