  • troppa premura, calma, state correndo in discesa

  • With such a big choir, better to sing Brahms.

  • ma perchè corri? la musica ha più respiro, canta il significato del testo, è poesia, non avere premura

  • Well done. Nice variations of tempo, and these suit the lyrics. Note attacks are good for such a large choir.

  • Lovely interpretation, well-executed!

  • Amazing Orlando di Lasso!

  • Thankss

    in spain

    gracias lo necesitaba

  • WOW LOOK AT ALL THE GUYS!!!! (my chior has like 13 guys)

lol you have the same arrangment we have

  • Orlando de Lasso ist ein Genie. Aber es ist hier auch genial umgesetzt. Ich hab mir viele Aufnahmen angehört: keine trifft wie diese rhythmisch den Punkt?

    Extraordinaire...

  • What I meant: This is rhythmically to the point.

It is the best I ever heard.

  • I think this interpretation is really to fast...

  • yay ! that was fabulous! The Elpus' really are sensational choral directors.

  • this is really good, but some of the pronunciation is off.

  • I'm not sure if it was marked on your piece, but our dynamics were completely different when my chorus performed it for districts. It was well done, just different that ours.

You guys had GREAT vowels and diction. Wow. I should show this to my chorus as an example of what a chorus should sound like.

    Awesome job!

  • There were no dynamic markings, we just learned what the phrases meant and applied them ourselves. Thanks!

  • Really? Elpus told you to use your intuition on the dynamics? Haha, he's gotten lax in his old age. (I was in Chamber Singers its first few years.) Awesome job.

  • Thanks, but by the way--

Just to correct the record here, "we" as a choir interpreted the markings, not "we" as individual singers. God forbid each of us have our own dynamic feel... don't worry, Elpus would STILL have a conniption over that. :-)

I think most of our dynamic interp. came from his conducting anyway, so I'm not even sure "we" is the right pronoun here. But whatever dynamics we performed were all indeed interpreted from the phrases: our sheet music was dynamic-free.
