  • Emergent Church is a tool of Satan

  • I love how he's out on a mission to take away Christ's divinity WHILE wearing a cross.. What a patsy

  • For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but {wanting} to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. KEY WORD HERE:

"OWN DESIRES" (Count the "I think" "I believe" and go back and look for scripture to back any of this up, none, nadda)

  • @lepointe Reading Galatians has really helped me! None of us should EVER allow ourselves to be "bewitched". If our eyes are averted we're not really seeing what we NEED to see. At all times we should strive to be spiritual, not striving to "bite and devour" each other that we may prove ourselves more right than another. True?

  • This metamorphosis is the next step to the church disappearing altogether. Hey, that's fine with me. A transitional phase, the gradual dissolution of church, necessarily involves a sort of deconstructive stage--as we see in the so-called emergent church movement. This is an insult to a dignified and ancient--but very living religious faith.

  • You need to leave hermeneutics in the hands of the unregenerate?

Would you go to a Buddhist to understand the Torah? NO!

This is absurd. As a theologian who understands the true holy scriptures more than nearly all living I can say, without a doubt, those who are part of the emergent are lead astray because of their dark hearts.

  • Why would you ask unregenerate people about what a good church is like?

Should we not seek out the modern prophets? This is absurd and a total disgrace to true Christianity.

Judas would be proud.....very proud. Satan is proud, the most proud.

  • ...who loves us not because we merit His love, since we fall miserably short of His standard, which is perfection.

He loves us because Jesus Christ died the substitutionary death that we deserve.

    God Himself bore our punishment.

    Pretty amazing, isn't it?

We don't have to appease God, because of what the Lord Jesus did for us.

This doesn't mean that we stop striving to please our Father, however. Any child that loves his father strives to please him.

  • After hearing a lot of deragotory things about the emergent church, (something I am unfamiliar with) I didn't think that I would like this video.

I found that I did agree with most of what they said.

I do think that we are traditiona in the body of Christ, because the Word of God is unchanging, as God is unchanging.

There is nothing wrong with change, as long as we are holding the Word of God as our standard, holding Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, and the Father as our heavenly Father

  • These guys are smart and insightful.
