As well as Kataklysm, the correct spelling is cataclysm. It's mainly for attention and it is easier to recall a band with a unique name rather than a dull name.

Well just for the record it is Incubus and Succubus from the demons Succubi and Incubi. I dont know why they replaced c letter with k letter.
