  • I was there!!!! incredible

  • Look at the intensity in Bruce's face, it's amazing.

  • Wow, the guy who recorded the greatest rock and roll song of all time--Born to Run--covering the second best rock and roll song of all time.

  • great version...not quite the Stones but close enof for rock'n'roll, if only Charlie was on drums...

  • Hello ,is there somebody out there who has a clear photo off Bruce holding the sign with Satisfaction on it ?

I want to frame it .

Thank you in advance and greatings.

  • I know ALOT of his songs and I was there for this show..It was AWESOME !!! He has a hell of alot more energy at 60 than some of these bands now have at 25..Rock on 4/ever B-R-U-C-E !!!!

  • i cant believe i was there for that. i about crapped myself on the spot

  • What happend to Max???

  • @xxEdwardTeachxx

Max had to miss some shows due to his contract with Conan O'Brien and The Tonight Show. I believe that is Max's son drumming.

  • I got my satisfaction!!!

  • springsteeen for life! (L)

  • of course the stones can't play some song by Bruce. Bruce has only got about 4 songs that people would know. The Stones have 10 times that many. And Bruce grew up listening to those songs. Bruce is only the Boss. Stones are the continuing living owners of Rock and Roll. But you knew that.

  • You are my one and only love, Bruce!!!

  • A really good version-don't get me wrong; but they played like a million other bar bands could; Hell, I've seen Joe Grushecky play this just as well, if not better. I'm a Bruce fan, and also a Stones fan. When the Stones play it, you know it's them....and it gets the liftoff that other bands try for, but can't attain with the song.

  • fuck u

  • Even if true, which I doubt, so what? What's you point? That this verson, played with no reheasal, is not as good as the Rolling Stones who have played it a 1,000 times?

Very profound, and a completely gruitous insult to this performance, which make no pretense of being the greatest verson ever played, only of cranking up the intensity level of a 2 hour, 50 minute show, the likes of which the Stones have not put on in 30 years, if ever.

  • @CPSJSMSUUMUGA Dude if you would have taken the time to actually read my comments, I said it was "really good." Sorry. Your Bruce Fanaticism is frightening...if he recorded a CD of himself grunting on the toilet, you'd probably want it to receive a grammy.

  • Jay seems right at home...Then again he is the Son of the greatest living American drummer, The Mighty Max Weinburg.

  • happy birthday bruce you're the best one.

  • Sretan rodjendan Bruce!! Hello from Croatia!! Happy Birthday Bruce!!

  • I hope that next year you came to Portugal!!! we are here waiting for you...

  • Happy birthday Bruce ... the best for you... because you are the best!!!!kissies...

  • Where's Patti? Humm. Happy 60 bruce

  • Audio?

  • Who has more talent; Springsteen or Kanye West?

  • Buen cover...

Pero no le pone su toque personal....

    Un cover normal...

Parece que el unico que hace un buen cover es johnny winter...

  • they know every damn song...

  • Talk about your rarity...this is in elite company...must have bee fun to see...

Bruce is amazing live and you certainly caught the moment...thanks for posting...

    H H H

  • you know im not a huge springsteen fan, but i have to give him credit. this looks amazing. hard to believe its the bi-lo center.

anyone going to Buckcherry / KISS next month?

  • I was there. This was my first Bruce Springsteen and the ESB concert. They were amazing. I have never seen that kind of energy flowing from the stage.

  • Those who missed this show, know that it this moment was simply amazing. My wife and I are big stones fans, so we went nuts when he did this song

  • I wish they had that video board when I saw them a few months ago. That looks awesome.

  • Sweet video thanks of sharing!

It gets me pumped for the upcoming Philly and Jersey shows.

Looks like a blast, great rocking crowd and good seats too!

  • Greatest rocker ever.

  • There are few bigger complements a band can receive than when to have an artist of Bruce Springsteen's stature covor their song.

In 1984 he played Street Fighting Man.

He has played long, stunning versions of Liitle Queenie. His eight minute performance, including repeated false endings, cap a three hour plus show. At no time during their 90 minute shows do the Stones come close on Little Queenie.

Oh, on second thought, I think Chuck Berry may have had something to do with Little Queenie.

  • HISTORY PEOPLE! THIS IS HISTORY!

Bigger than the Kennedy assassination, moon landing, or first black president!

THE E STREET BAND PLAYING ROLLING STONES!!!!!!!

  • It is great but Bruce and the ESB did Honky Tonk Woman too :)

  • Comment removed

  • It's great that the ESB can break out any cover and do a passable job on most, and in some cases, a great job. However, this version can't touch the Stones. Not even close. Doesn't ever attain the liftoff the Stones do.

  • This is a great version, so take it for what it's worth - no other band can cover great songs like the ESB - true, not the Stones, but awesome nevertheless - note, however, that these covers by the ESB are not really spontaneous - Bruce and the band know which songs they will cover... watch this carefully - Bruce is reading the words from a prompter on the floor. Still love him though!

  • Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don't. It takes like 30 seconds to pull up the lyrics online.

  • i didn't see anything on the floor - i was above him

  • in interviews on this tour they have said that's what they have fun with this time round, the signs are taken and if it's other people's stuff , some guy grabs the lyrics and off they go on the ones chosen. it is still pretty spontaneous, i have been in plenty pits , and seen the signs created there and then,it's not a set up and tremendous fun, what other band does this. a long life to bruce and the e.s.b.

  • Are the Stones even relevant anymore? Jagger sucks live, I'm sorry. Saw them once in Foxboro. Subsequent times on TV. If you didn't know the words and saw Jagger sing it now live, you'd have no idea what he was saying.

And I think this is one song, any band, worth their salt close the ESB's age where you can sing this in your sleep!

  • You obviously were not having a good night or you hung with the wrong crowd.

    What are you, 15?

  • No dobt you're right, but considering this was the first time they'd played the song, seen live, it was far better th "passable."

Rock & roll is best live and loud. Even the best, professionally shot, video can't do live rock justice. Having this is a treasure and I thank its creator. However, it doesn't ever come close to the liftoff that occurred inside that building when he play this Stones classic.

It is a great complement to them to be covered by Bruce Springsteen.

  • I think it's a matter of preference, myself. To me, Bruce and the ESB filled the bilo center with more energy than Mick could do. I dont know if you were there or are commenting from the video quality, but in person it was amazing. If you were there and still disagree, fair enough.

  • and it's better than the Stones

  • Too many bands play the same static setlists every night and Bruce can pull anything out on any night that's why he's the greatest act in rock

  • wasn't Satisfaction as well played on 1978/05/19 and 1988/01/20? So it's not really the first time.

  • Guess so if the setlists show that. I put that in the title because Bruce said it. But Bruce could have easily forgotten they have played it before.

  • @OliMuc67 Not according to brucespringsteen.it

The only time the ESB played this tune prior was in a Darkness rehearsal...

The performance in 88 was Springsteen with Mick Jagger and others at the RRHOF induction.

  • HEY HEY HEY! Look at your hair, Jay!

    This shit's awesome, haha!

  • Didn't know you were into Bruce. I grew up in Jersey and didn't like his music 'til i moved to NY and had to do a paper on Springsteen for a writing class. The teacher required us to listen to NEBRASKA and that is the album I dig,

  • BEST part of the concert by far! = )

  • Made my day! :)

  • PRICELESS! :)
