@memberson I paid $30 for it,dug the hole put it in and that was it. We didn't get a lot of rain over the summer so I did dump like a gallon or two of water at the base of the tree once or twice. It's a Dwarf I believe
Thanks. You're right it is a peach tree. I bought it from the store and it was tagged....and still is tagged as a Nectarine tree but once I actually picked some of the fruit and took a bite...it's peach lol. Not complaining though,I Like Peach
very cool! Do you have any problems with predation? I live deep in bear country, a tree like that wouldn't last a night. I wish I could plant a fruit bearing tree. good luck with it.
How long was it dormant in the winter?(what zone/state?) How often do you water this one?

Nice. What's a good time of year to plant a tree. My kids would love something like that?
87gn 7 months ago
@87gn best time to plant a tree is spring so the tree has plenty of time to get established before the winter.
FabioCrow07770 7 months ago
Hurrrra now you can do moonshine with nectarine flavour...haha or not.

I planted a cherry tree a few years back, and unless I get to the cherries as soon as they ripen, the birds and squirrels will get them. Ah well.

@romeodelta1178 the animals don't seem to bother it at all. the cheery tree however I'll have to put a chain link fence around
