Chimaria was never meant to be a nu metal band. U can tell, but this song is still pretty kick ass. Im just glad they went to metal thats awesome instead of this stuff
@taylordguitar Personally, I think they did it just to get signed. At the time, record labels were signing every Nu-Metal band they could, because it was the biggest thing then. So, I think they just went along with it. This Present Darkness EP (Before POOE) wasn't Nu-metal at all.
@apeioj what they are doing these days? Andols, Jim, and Chris left, got replaced by two guys from Daath, and the drummer from Bleed the Sky, Austin D'AMond. THey just put out a new album called The Age of Hell.
@deathofme101 omg right? Everyone hates on that album, whereas I think it sounds like their old stuff like Impossibility and the Self-titled, which is the best album ever written, imo.
@LWRCftw IOR and self titled definitely - what do you think of the new album - I was extremely disappointed - i thought it was trash for the most part.

But man i just cant get into that stuff - if I want chimaira I just go back to IOR, self titled, maybe a hint of present darkness and resurrection, etc. Turn your car stereo as loud as you can and then put on "pictures in the gold room" haha BEAST SON!! thats what im talin bout.
