  • Lol the guy doing the C3PO rap is from Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. This song is legit.

  • Just re-discovered this tracks after 29 years!

  • Great Vid!!! Thanks!

  • very great sound impressive

  • Great song, but i prefer the new one. It has so much more depth and feelings. Why does the fans always hate on George, when it was he who brought these incredible movies to earth.

  • @herogna incorrect. george lucas came up with the original idea for star wars, but neither star wars nor empire were written or directed by lucas. lucas was heavily involved in jedi (regarded as a "co-director" according to wikipedia) and this is when star wars started to decline. his total control of the prequels resulted in them being the steaming turds they are. essentially lucas fucked his own idea once he started to take control away from people who knew what they were doing.

  • @RetardGenius Funny, both Wikipdeia and IMDB credit George Lucas for both Writing and Directing Star Wars Episode IV.

  • @fattoler *sigh* that's the first thing that someone who doesn't know anything about star wars and thinks lucas is a genius says. what wikipedia only hints at (and IMDB doesn't tell u at all) is that SW was fully funded by the studios so lucas was not given full reign and many of his ideas were moderated or overwritten by the movie execs (wiki gives one example of han solo appearing like greedo rather than human). so his fucktard ideas didn't make it 2 the screen till he had mega $ later

  • @RetardGenius You are aware Richard Marquand added in the emotional death scene with Yoda which Lucas wanted to leave to a line of dialogue? plus increase the length of the sabre duel and the space battle? (and yes, even all the comedy touches with the Ewoks)

  • @fattoler actually i'm not aware, but thanks for that :-) i'm not quite sure of the point ur trying to make tho. clarify? i'm not trying 2 give u shit here btw: i'm interested in what u have to say

  • @RetardGenius I'm simply pointing out that not everything in ROTJ was down to George Lucas, regardless I shall leave this conversation here with seeing as we are never going to agree with many things...

  • @RetardGenius Also it should be noted that A New Hope was largely (In my opinion) saved by good editing; as the prequel trilogy shows Lucas isn't a brilliant director (however he did shoot a few of the Degobah scenes in ESB as well as some others scenes in the London studio when the weather in Norway got particularity bad). However ultimately no-one will every truly know how much or how little Lucas did due to the fact that 'facts' are so often distorted, especially by the Internet.

  • @fattoler true to a point but when he had complete financial and creative control, we see the results: the prequels lol

  • @RetardGenius Yeah, I think we can both agree those films were turgid pap.

  • @fattoler i have enjoyed chatting with you fattoler. you know much more about SW than i initially gave u credit for and you've given me some points to think about. thx

  • @RetardGenius Why thank you, as a fairly casual Star Wars fan who actually likes the Ewoks that's quite a compliment!

  • fuck ewoks. they paved the way for gungans and jar jar binks i.e. the ruin of star wars. fuck you george lucas you cunt

  • @RetardGenius Star Wars is only a movie. Get over it.

  • @TheREALforeverone but i still enjoy hating ewoks, so i'll keep doing it :)

  • @RetardGenius good for you. ;)

  • @RetardGenius I disagree, Ewoks were designed to be cute, Jar-Jar was supposed to be funny. Key word, supposed.

  • There was no uninjured old Anakin - that person never existed. Where was that uninjured head and how do we know what it would look like? How would we know what the hair "would have" looked like? The ghost just imagined it and projected an image that never was? That's what didn't make sense. As ghosts they could appear as anything they like. The younger Anakin was what he looked like before being made into Darth Vader and it makes the most sense he'd want to project that to Luke.

  • I note a lot of folks here prefer the untouched, ORIGINAL 'Jedi', with all it's Nub Nub glory...I have the original version of the film on DVD, if anyone wants a copy, drop me a line via my channel...as long as YOU promise to make copies and get them to other people whop respect THE ORIGINAL VERSION!...;)

  • YUBYUB!

    -Levi

  • Ni siquiera sabía que era de meco, pensé que ninca volvería a escucharla gracias por subirla.

  • May the 4th be with You.. Always... ;D

  • Esta musica la tenia grabada en un cassette de los vejitos gracias por subirla tenía tiempo de no escucharla.

  • ;0 maybe more than anything of the 97 digital re-dos... 'greedo shoots first' and all that shtuff... most irritating are the music replacements in 'jedi', jabba's club band and the EWOK CELEBRATION!! what a terrible choice to replace those...

  • Is there a translation for the vocals? It sounds nasty. About something they wanted to do to Princess Leia.

  • Yub Nub is the best song ever, and the only Ewok part of Return of the Jedi that didnt annoy me, so retard Lucas has to remove it?!? Idiot!!!!

  • @bigres23 Agree...can't watch the new shit at all.

  • Yub nub, eee chop yub nub/Toe meet toe pee chee keene, g'noop dock fling oh ah./Yah wah, eee chop yah wah, Toe meet toe pee chee keene, g'noop dock fling oh ah...

  • at 2:00 it looks like lukes horny

  • Thumbs up for C3PO rap!

  • great music one day i shall on cd a compilation of star wars music cover with this music

  • great music

  • Let me add that while I liked the middle part of the song, the Jamaican rap is annoying, as is most rap(note: not rap'music'). Celebrate The Love!

  • why is it that bad that hayden christensen is in the final scene? i mean... he's anakin skywalker!

  • @JasonKrueger90 It's bad because the original way looked better. Now it's just ridiculous!

  • Death to George Lucas! He kills childhood memories!

  • @Archeminos It's only a movie

  • just putting this out there, there's certain fanboys who'll hate this but fuck em. The original Star Wars films were not George Lucas's own work. I accept he's responsible for it but if you look at what has happened to not just the saga, but the films themselves themselves as time has gone on. As Lucas has built up a reputation and basically power, he's got more and more creative control. Episodes 1, 2 and 3 and the special editions are his. Look up Redlettermedia on youtube and his reviews.

  • Does anyone have the original video clip from 1983, from the Music video - (yes there was one), If so PLEASE POST.... I havent seen it in 27 years.

  • @nigraw Th original clip from the movie is here on Youtube. I don't know about a music video though.

  • 4 Imperial Stormtroopers hated this video

  • @jediking12 I am one of them. Imperial Stormtooper that is, and I did not that I hated this video. Scruffy Nerfherders

  • @superfatman900 well you have the worst job in the starwas unaviers

  • @mercenarie95 I did have. Now I'm unemployed. Damn resession.

  • Not onw of Meco's best interpretations. Sounds a bit too Boney M for me, but thanks for uploading, hadn't heard this before.

  • I love the synthesizer in this song, it's so funky!

  • i love this song. i remember Juan Alcazar D>J> in Guatemala City in the 80's. reason why became a dj as well. ELIAS VASQUEZ

  • Um, why is there a big giant empty pit in the Emperor's throne room?

  • @ginko27 its the thing they blow up to destroy the second death star

  • @Wiccancrow1 Ok, so the Death Stars MAIN REACTOR vents in the Emperor's thrown room? I mean if i was going to build a giant deadly pit, I wouldn't put it in my thrown room! He could of at least covered it with some ply wood or something?

  • @ginko27 actually thats what they should have done in a new hope, and besides, they were still building the thing. may be the floor was just incomplete :D

  • @ginko27 It's actually the elevator shaft he falls down. The throne room is atop a huge spire, and this is what Palpatine was tossed down.

  • LOL There is an ENGLISH version of this song too! Basically the Ewoks say "Can you feel they love over and over"!

  • @ginko27 i thought everyone knew that

  • I like this song. The only bad part is when that guy starts saying characters' names.

  • pleese upload the normal version, i cant find it

  • @brettsworld99 I'll upload it tomorrow.

  • BTW...fantastic tribute video ya got there. Loved it from beginning to end.

  • Gawd! I had this on the 45 version and practically wore the damn thing out. Loved it.

  • you know it's kind of strange, I used to know all the ewok's names by heart..

I used to have all the toy figures of them as a kid..

And I used to impress all my friends at that time because I could name each one and not only that but what that particular character did in the movie..

But now I can't seem to remember any of their names!!

    not even one..

  • @orangie84 Wicket W. Warwick, Chief Chirpa, Princess Nina (i think) and the rest i dont know

  • Fuck everything about this song. I love star wars and even like rap, but this is something that doesn't need to exist.

That being said, I laughed fucking hard at this! Great video!

  • Oh come on. Look at it for what it is. A great fantasy ride. Enjoy the music and the footage for the memories. Its entertainment people.

  • FIRST, they has all the walkers and AT-STs there because they knew the Rebels were comming! Remember It's a TRAP! Also, if you remember when the scout trooper sees the Ewok, he says "Hey, what tha"? before getting blasted! As for 3po, when did he tell them he WASN'T a GOD? And why did the Ewoks attack the Empire when they did nothing to them? Could it be that they we're lied to?

  • yabba yabba darth vader

  • COME ON CO-HOST LETS DO THIS

  • Awesome video with the audio!

  • Oh....dear lord! LMAO

  • Korey and Co-Host always witht eh great Youtube vids

  • LEEET'S DOOOO THIIIIIIIIS!!!!!!!!!

  • @GrandPopPoplock Let's do what?

  • Ewoks helped in the battle because they thought C3po was a god?! The Empire didn't care about Ewoks or even know they existed till they were tricked into declaring war on the Empire by 3po. How many Ewoks died because they were lied to. If they were just left alone the Empire would have just completed the Death Star and left. So who is the real Evil ppl here? The Empire had defend against religious stone aged teddy bears who lanched suicide attacks against them because their "god"commaned them to

  • @ginko27 - The Empire patrols the forest continually with speeder bikes and they've NEVER seen ewoks? Are you serious? Why do they have a garrison if not to defend against the planet side natives? Why do they have all those AT-AT and AT-ST walkers if the garrison is protected by a shield and a huge armada anyway?

And 3PO didn't tell them to do anything other than to let his friends go.

  • @ginko27

you see, just before he died, the Ewok god had prophesied that 2,000 years later he would come again. C-3PO is the fulfillment of this ancient prophecy-- how else did he happen to speak a dialect that no longer existed ?

3PO didn't trick the Ewoks, he merely told them of all the evil that Palpatine and his evil empire had wrought upon the Galaxy. Upon recieving this information, the Ewoks willingly CHOSE to induct the Rebels into the Tribe.

  • @artguy42 it did make sense. It's kinda sybolic. It saying that Anikin died on Mustafar and that after that dart cadet was a different person. That Hayden you see was the last trace of Anikin. If you want to be literal though I suppose a Jedi could take the form he wants when projecting his dead self

  • side 2: "Lapti Nek"

  • ( 5:50) ¡Female rebel pilot dancing!

  • Did they barbeque Darth Vader?

  • @AWorldExposure Lol! :P

  • @AWorldExposure

Ewoks are notorious for their grilling abilities

  • @AWorldExposure lol no, that was Luke cremating him

  • @xjedixwarriorx true the ppl in star wars havent burnt bodies in over a millenia because it is to much work and burning helps free the soul

  • Leia looks beautiful!

  • WOW!!! I've been looking for this song for over 20 years! Im a dj and I used to have this on 12" vinyl! Thats Duke Bootee rapping on this song who also rapped on the ground breaking rap hit "The Message" by Grand master Flash and the Furious Five! Thanks for posting this wonderful song Meco SW Music! I really appreciate it!

  • My only complaint is that you used the 'Hayden' version of Anakin in that final shot...I HATE that Lucas did that, it made NO sense!! Other than that, great job...;)

  • @artguy42 -- Sure it made sense, by screwing around with the final shot Lucas made sure to muck up Star Wars from start to finish.

  • @koalabrownie ...Niiiiice....;)

  • ye i know, the logic is that he reverts back to how he was before he turned evil, but he turned good just before he died!

  • @artguy42 because when vader died anakin's soul was set free from the darkside and purified so he had to appear as he did before falling into the dark side completely and becoming the dark lord.

  • @Wiccancrow1 Sorry, still doesn't wash...by your explanation, Obi Wan Kenobi should have been 'young' then too, and he wasn't...;)

  • @cecinid obi-wan didn't "die" as anakin did. anakin "died" and was imprisoned as darth vader.from a caertain point of view it could be seen as 2 different souls in one body.Darth Vader was "born" at the volcano and anakin "died". Vader "died" in the emporers throne room and anakin was "reborn." Obi-wan didn't "die" like that so his spirit wouldn't have changed.

  • @Wiccancrow1 i think anakin “died” when he decided to slaughter younglings

  • @thestickmanstudios1 Which ones? The Jedi students or the Tusken children?

  • @Wiccancrow1 - bullshit. Lucas is just a retard. The old movies are done, finished, complete. Leave them be for fak's sake.

  • @artguy42 Completely true!! Such a noob :(

  • @artguy42

I agree with you : Lucas...don't know his universe enough ! Author rights put Lucas the only owner of many creations in the Star Wars universe. The end of Return of the Jedi in the new edition is more than stupid...except if I give him a solution : The Force accepts only the good, so Force accepts the young corpse of Anakin because his corpse was in the dark side. But I think it's not enough to explain the stupidity of the "Lucas Money Touch".

  • @artguy42 Question not the creator. Lord Lucas is the One and others are mediocre. All Hail Lucas! All Hail Lucas!

  • @artguy42 Well, I see it this way(you ARE entitled to your opinion, ofcourse!); what Lucas had in mind was that we are seeing Anikin as he was before turning to the Dark Side. Dang...I'm listening ot this for the first time as I reply to artguy's comment. This is catchy!

  • @artguy42 I always said that if you were goign ot do that, then do it to all of them, start off with them as they were in the last trilogy adn THEN if ya had to show the originals morph all of them to their younger former selves.

  • Love it...well done.

I will ALWAYS prefer the original Ewok song at the end of the film over the 'Special edition' crap..so glad I have the original (untouched) trilogy on DVD!

  • yub nub !!!

  • Holy crap, this is amazing.

  • It's a shame that the original Ewok Celebration song was taken out of Return of the Jedi in the re-release...great song!

  • @BalooRJ

I agree. I also miss the original Jabba the Hut music with Max Rebo.

  • @BalooRJ to be frankly i prefered this version

  • @BalooRJ agreed! the way the yubs compliment the nubs is exquisite!

  • @BalooRJ completamente deacuerdo. es una verguenza que esta cancion la hayan quitado en la edicion remasterizada de star wars... se siente hasta raro escuchar otra cancion..

  • Great remix! Lol about C-3PO song and dabu dabu darth vader! but summary great!

  • haha, "dabu dabu darth vader..."

  • lol C-3P0

  • Yes! The rapping C-3P0 song! I was wondering where this was!

  • True story: Ewok language is actually Tagalog, the language of the Philippines.

This remix is what makes life so beautiful.

  • if thats the case i speak ewok perfectly!! hahahah...

  • finally
