I had to run a 17h Saddlebred down on a 14.3h Qtr Horse over hard desert terrain about 4 years ago. Took me 6 and 1/2 miles to run down that horse. I ran through tree limbs, cactus needles, jumped several washes, and ran through hock deep water and mud. But I ran that son of a bitch down. Sadly, that was the last time I rode that Qtr Horse - Tody gave his life to save that horse. This song reminds me of that ride.
