Karantania existed from year 626 till 15. centuries and present slovene speak language not others.The leaders(KNEZI) of Karantania were Slovenes. Austria established empire on slovenian territory like Italia on Roman empire decay. Latinic speak is not same like italian. Also slovenian speak is not same like german.There was presence a lot of mix slovenian and german speak. Today you can see that Slovenia(ex Karantania) and Austria(ex Karantania) have a lot of problems about that also Italia!

- there is no Austrian Belgium;

- it is not showed how Austrian borders changed during 1797-1805;

- Lombardy was lost in 1859 not 1860, and Veneto was lost in 1866 and not 1860 (many Venetians still remember).

Dass die EU jede Menge Fehler hat und vieles anders und besser gemacht werden könnte, steht außer Frage. Abgesehen davon ist dir aber hoffentlich schon klar, dass die EU das beste ist, was Europa in den letzten Jahrzehnten passiert ist? Du solltest die EU als das sehen, was sie in ihrem Kern ist: eine Friedensunion. Dann wirst du die Wichtigkeit der EU für Europa verstehen.

zur anmerkung an einige user: so einfach ist es nicht mit "wir waren so groß": im prinzip war bis 1804 jeglicher habsburgischer besitz habsburgischer besitz und nicht "österreich". ein österreichisches denken existierte großteils nicht. joseph II. und leopold II. bezeichneten sich selbst noch als "deutscher fürst". bis 1867 war alles österreich.

Äh... Der Bürgerkrieg war am 19. Feber 1934, nicht 1927, die Folge des verlorenen Bürgerkriegs war die austrofaschistische Diktatur unter Dollfuß.
