after watching basically all the camelot videos, ive come up with a good rule of thumb which you all probably realise already but i thought it was worth mentioning. most of the things the witnesses say which lie outside their area of expertise usually are wrong (e.g this guy re: atlantis) most things related to their area of expertise are usually right (with notable exceptions), and of immense value.

For a very long time and we are talking way back to my childhood I could never accept the theory of black holes. This just confirms my beliefs, not only that but having a major star at the center of the galaxy vs a black hole makes more sense to me. This is a brilliant man and much of what he says hits home. If what he says is true which I believe it is then we are in for on hell of a ride someday... hopefully not in 2012.

@RexMundiUsurper But you can't assume that scientists - usually focused on their specialty - actually KNOW what purpose their work is being put to. Much more likely that they're kept in the dark for security reasons, at the very least.

My father was involved in pure research (astronomy / signal processing), and despite a distinguished career he was forced out when the work took on a more military direction. He's a devout Christian, so yes I resent these sorts of statements.

Any advancement that is "bad" for mankind happens from those who use it "badly". Science is innocent and neutral, and so is a scientist. Less on what we have. more on what we do with it.

For example, the science of human psychology/thought/learning/et­c ,may deal with "conscience"; but the anatomy of a frog or a study of stars or the space in atoms or the study of quantum physics or the Huchtison Effect and etc perhaps not. "Conscience" can save or condemn per-say, can start/further the study or end/pause the study.
