Freddie Highmore did a fantastic job in this movie. A lot of younger actors don't have that real...believability. and you believed this. Even just the tiniest things in the movie were there; you could see the emotion and feeling in everything he did. I liked the scene where him and his dad traded guitars and were playing together, you saw they both bit there bottom lip and moved their heads the same way. I don't even know what to say about this movie, I was repeatedly amazed while watching it.

August Rush is a beautiful movie, the music was frigging AWESOME!! Hearing Jonathan Rhys Myers sing was great, he has such a beautiful voice, Freddie Highmore including the other actors did a wonderful job. ( the ending could have been better, it was still nice, I cried ) lol, I advise that you watch this movie you will not be disappointed (well this is just my opinion, I give it 5 stars)

Although apparently it is just a fiction and even though the life had been hard for Evan, he did not use this as an excuse to be shocked, rebel or a gangster.

Quite by the contrary, he believed that everything could be better, and used the music as a means to achieve his dream, and he believed it was entirely successful.

The directors, actors, soundtrack composers and screen player writer are worthy of congratulations!

I would reccomend it to anyone, except younger kids. My sister was really bored and didn't get it clearly. Though, I forced my mom to bring me and she loved it. It's a really good movie.
