  • Sounds like a Accrington/Burnley accent?

  • @ovendetox

    Close- Blackburn ;-)

  • @ 5.48 LOL

  • Very informative and practical video. Thanks. I can get cracking on with some DIY now. Nice underwear also :-)

  • Is this a fetish video ???

  • @ghadaway

I suppose you could call it a silicone fetish video lol

  • Happy to see a competent girly handyman. She was pretty confident using an angle grinder without a guard. Didn't lose as much as a finger nail.

  • @ohdrdrdr

That is not an angle grinder, it is the Bosch PMF180E multi purpose saw ;-)

  • @ultimatehandyman Thank you. She did mention it at about 0:50.

  • @ohdrdrdr

You had me worried when I got the email on my computer about using an angle grinder without a guard, as that would be extremely dangerous and not recommended!

    Thanks for your comments ;-)

  • Good video. I've got cracks in my grouting, I'll have to get my woman right on it.

  • you dirty bastard LOL

  • @dpapaioannow

    LOL ;-)

  • phwoaaar what a babe and loving the green string thong

  • Handy video and with a bit of humor... great combination. Very good instructional video. Cheers!

  • @yosoydavid

    Thanks for the comment ;-)

  • Haha the bit with the thong is pure Lancashire humour

  • what accent is that?

  • @Slides2006

    Blackburn, Lancs

  • @ultimatehandyman is that called the Scouse accent or is it different from that?

  • @Slides2006

No, nothing like a scouce accent lol

  • If You Make A Video Make Sure You Wear A Good Pants Becaus People Dont Need To See Your Underwear ;)

  • Can you please come to fix my shower? Ain't got nothig to do with it... but if you tell me me that you are coming I make some cracks here and there so that I can watch you fixing it :-)

  • Nice tat!

  • So.... How many of us started to take a lot more interest at 5.48 into the video !!!!!!!!

    I certainly did !!!

  • @kiefer1962 Oh good grief YES.

  • The size of your nails would make a good sealant tool.

  • @doggyme1

    LOL

  • Thong at 5:47......NICE

  • wow great thong and nice technique in running your finger down the crack, i will take this knowledge and put it to good use on my crack in the shower.

    Thanks

  • Interesting, informative and sexy! Not something you can say about all DIY vids

  • Why? it degreases like one of the best solutions I know.

It is cheap, works like a charm only smels like sh*t

  • @kusters2

I prefer solvent wipes, but each to their own.

You are right about the smell, it is awful!

  • When I use silicone caulk I always do full beads (from cealing till floor) 'cause if there is alreddy some silicone present it won't adhere.

Also I almost always use painterstape to make a super straight caulk line with little mess.

Furthermore I always use amonia to clean the joint I have to caulk because there might be some grease or grout left.

do you think these tips are better or not?

  • @kusters2

What ever works best for you.

I'd give the ammonia a miss though- nasty stuff!

  • handywomen rule.

  • Very helpful, thanks.

  • @spamtasticx

    You are welcome!

  • This is a closeup of the crack...

  • @VorsGer

    ;-)

  • Love the green thong! Gorgeous.

  • spray the bead with a 50/50 mix of dishwashing liquid and water then use a paddle pop stick to get a perfect cove.

  • Do you know where the tiered towel rail is from in this video?

  • @starkittenUK

It's from Next. They are about £30 now apparently, but they sell similar ones in Argos.

  • Folks, No!

At 4.00 the dark line to the right of the bead is a gap caused by applying the sealant trailing from the nozzle. With the gun at this angle travel should be UPWARDS to force the sealant deep into the channel for a better seal and less waste.

To finish, run a lolly stick or similar down the joint making sure to keep continuous contact each side of the bead. Clean build up off the stick as u go. When part cured (2-3hrs) simply peel off the waste seal beads from each side.

  • @The007Weasel

Why don't you make a video and show us how it should be done?

  • @ultimatehandyman Hi UHM,

I had hoped writing just a few minor tips to augment your video would do. Sadly I found we only get 500 characters, which limited the detail, but I hoped you'd all get what I mean, as the results are reliable, fast, neat and with negligible mess doing it this way.

As for making & uploading video's...I've not tried it, and probably wouldn't unless I had something really special & unique to show the world, but please don't take that as a slur on your efforts. .

  • @The007Weasel

    Ok, no problem.

    Thanks for the clarification!

  • you are a nice girl :)

what is fairy liquid by the way?

  • @albundyhun

Fairy liquid is washing up liquid.

  • @ultimatehandyman you mean for washing dishes?

  • @albundyhun

    Yes, that is the stuff!

  • check out 5.48 thats the best part hmmmm

  • I like your accent

  • I always use card with a straight edge from a cereal box to smooth over the silicone. Works a treat for me.

  • your hot

  • 5:48

  • :-)

  • @ScareDe2 I know! Funny!

  • will the next bead of silicone stick if you have rubbed fairy liquid on it? and for a neater bead it is best to go the opposite way so you are pushing rather than pulling

  • You wipe the fairy liquid off when the silicone is dry. You can apply the silicone in any direction you like.

  • what's "fairy liquid"? what country are you guy's from?? good video.

  • Hi, We are from the UK. Fairy liquid is washing up liquid.

  • Okay anyway

  • How can u work with those nails? Im impressed, nice thong btw!

  • She manages lol. I'll pass on the compliment, Thanks!

  • I should download this video and get that thumbnail for ya

  • I already have a good thumbnail thanks, but can't use it on here!

  • Do more videos with longer thong shots! Very nice back side I must say!

  • @ngrottedog LOL. I could do with using a thumbnail of the thong shot, it would get a lot more views. I have this video on my own server and it has had 43,000 views lol

  • I never cut the spout at 45 degrees. Should always be cut square, I find that much easier to work with.

  • I don't suppose it is that important.

  • The blades are not that expensive over here!

  • we have the ssame saw just a pitty that blade costs $80. aud its a bit expensive :(

and use soapy water over the sillicon much more easy :P
