Naruto says, "There's a chance, Sasuke... that our roles... could have been reversed," meaning that Naruto may have taken Sasuke's role going to Orochimaru, learning Chidori, while Sasuke may have taken Naruto's role and would try to save him from Orochimaru, learning Rasengan.
