All credit goes to MTfan4ever1 ...... What you do is you right click on the zip folder and select "Extract All..." When you click "Extract All..." you will get the option to Browse, so click on browse, then you should get a bunch of folders, if you see one with Your computer account name on it, click that one, once you see a folder that says "Documents" on it, then select "EA Games" Then select "The Sims 2" Then select "Downloads" then you can click "Ok"or"Extract" You Can Inbx me for more help

@biebzhightops NO do not do that ! it will mess it up! do this : Select Extract all by right clicking on the zipped folder, it gives you the option to "browse" press that and go To : EA Games >> The Sims 2 >> Downloads (if you dont have a downloads folder make one. it HAS to look exactly like this: Downloads. If it is like dwnlds or downloads the game wont read it. Capital D, and you NEED to spell it right.) click the downloads folder and press Ok/extract or whatever button there is lol

@megostor Make sure you are downloading the mesh aswell. You will also need WinRAR which you can just type into google and download for free. Once you have WinRAR it should work. Good luck!

I had the same problem.

But when I followed all this steps, it worked.

You need to download MESH & the color you want.

Then you need to extract both files (for instance with WINRAR) in the download folder of sims.

Than it will work!

The files can't be opened normally. You need to unzip them then open the newly unzipped folder. Copy everything in there and paste it under Documents > Ea Games > Sims 2 > Downloads.

Then open Body Shop. It should be there under Create A Sim. Make sure you copy the mesh as well.

just go to sims2.com its free, faster, and you get cloths with whatever sim you choose worked for me and i bet it can work for you to!!! :)
