  • RON PAUL!!

  • The news media lies and takes down his polls then they report on themselves about how they are not giving him enough coverage, then they go out and take his name out and cheat and then the go back to the news rooms and report on how they have ignored Ron Paul and how terrible it is and then they take his name out of another poll then they..........

  • Mankind needs to get past the need for "leaders", because the irony of politics is that mostly sociopaths are attracted to the power that "leadership" provides. How about every man and woman being their own "leader"?

  • If only Ron Paul would get equal coverage; The election wouldn't even be close...

  • The title implies that there are grownups on the other side. Who?

  • Ron Paul will win against Obama no doubt

  • To all of Dr. Paul's supporters, PLEASE take a lesson from him and stop using profanity and personal attacks on those who don't agree with the cause of liberty. It just makes you sound ignorant and mean...just like mainstream politicians.

  • "Iran isn't the threat people are playing'em up to be", Ron Paul is certainly the only powerful voice in public telling us that truth--and its a very important one. He says it looks to him like people are trying to start a war with Iran just like they started the one in Iraq. So it bugs me to hear people parrot the "insane policies" line about Ron Paul--I'm a progressive, so strongly disagree with some of his ideas, yet, there could not be policies more insane than *the status quo* right now.

  • all who want ron paul to win, you have to talk to all your older relatives and friends who do not spend much time on the internet. All that i speak to doesn`t know of him, or very little about him. we need to get his message out since the media won`t!!!!

  • @tony69774ucrazy & let your clothes speak for you, too. Buy Ron Paul gear--people seeing other people wearing it, will make it clear the "he can't win" message is wrong.

  • Ron Paul has much to say that I consider to be unwise - perhaps this is because I have been raised in a culture innoculated to universal education for children. And perhaps rightly so. However he seems to be a lone voice that that has so much wisodm to address the present state of the USA. As president he would do well to adding balance to the system, even though the change would cause him to be hated - certainly in the short term it seems.

  • To say that Ron Paul is the only grown-up running for president? That displays your ideology. If you ask someone about the strengths of the Republicans, and the person repsonds "they are evil incarnate" is the same as one asked about th strengths of the Democrats responds "they are evil incarnate." The truth is, is that they both have strengths and weakness.

  • the other republicans are more and more saying what RON PAUL is saying but RON PAUL is the only one that would do anything about it. They may take my life away but they willl never take away my FREEDOM.

  • Why is Ron Paul getting so much support on the internet? Freedom is popular and the internet is the purest form of a free and open society, all of which Ron Paul advocates. I pray that today is the day that America awakens. It is up to our generation to have a burning desire for freedom. It is up to we the people to answer the call of liberty.

  • @quangngy And because the internet is the information superhighway. The only reason he has such relatively small support in the real world is because people don't know who he is or what he stands for, because of the media ignoring him. People on the internet love him because they actually are able to find out what he stands for.

  • Ron Paul -- the only peace candidate!

    Bring the troops home!

  • the media is mostly COMMUNIST JEW ran, what do you expect? RON PAUL for president!

  • ronpaul2012. com donate his campaign now.

  • Cafferty is right. He also offers sound advice. Ron Paul should run ads showing what he said 4 years and even decades, ago. He has been dead on about the economy and he said it before the shit hit the fan. THERE IS NO ONE ELSE RUNNING THAT CAN COME EVEN CLOSE TO MAKING THIS CLAIM.

The choice is simple, you can vote for Obama or another Republican and get more of what caused this mess or you can vote for Ron Paul and pray he can turn things around. The choice should be easy.

  • Ron Paul, in my opinion, is the only candidate that is on the right track and will work towards making this a great nation again. I believe he has what it takes to be the best president ever in our history. I believe he is the only one that will actually work towards returning government to a government for the people. Ron Paul is definately the "only grown-up in the room". He knows the problems in government and has solutions to actually fix it.

  • Have been supporting Ron Paul since he came out with his newsletters in the late 70s. He's my hero and is a true statesman.

  • change.org/petitions/us-news-world-report-stop-the-media-blackouts-of-ron-paul

Give me Ron Paul or give me death!!

  • I loved going through the answers, even though it was too late to actually comment. Of the 244 responses, only about 3 that I could see were even slightly negative! Everybody loves Ron Paul; or should, love the man. If they don't, I think it's because they are not as informed or educated as to who he is and what he stands for. He is not a puppet; he is real, and our last chance against big gov't and the New World Order! RON PAUL 2012 & BEYOND!

  • One thing is certain, Ron Paul and all of his support are WITHOUT A DOUBT going to shock the nation and perhaps the rest of the world over the next year with the message of liberty and truth, and exposing the frauds that run the media and bobblehead government. This undoubtably will be remembered throughout history as the greatest wave of true awakening even if he doesn't win, and will serve as a template for the future. RON PAUL 2012

  • @guitarwarrior69 how about no? I like the man, and would love to vote for him. But no way in hell he's gonna come close to winning the republican primary. Why? Because he makes too much sense for either the republican or democratic party. In fact, he should just make the Ron Paul party, and run as an independent again. But he won't win that way either.. In other words, man is fucked.

  • @ThePeruvian007 your probably right but the thing is republicans may realize that he will have by far the best chance at beating obama. It's hilarious how fox didn't say anything about him coming in second in a straw poll to someone who grew up where it took place. he cant get coverage because hes to left wing for fox, and hes a conservative so cnn will only show him a little bit.

  • @ThePeruvian007 Ok, so you and the probably millions of others who have that same logic aren't going to vote for him because "he can't win"? It's a self-fulfilling prophecy shoved down our throats by the establishment media, so I hope you and anyone who thinks that way still supports him.

Or we can choose Rick Bilderberg Group Perry, the guy who simply announces his vote, without even participating in a single debate, and the media worships him already as "front runner."

    Fucking fakers.

  • @guitarwarrior69 i agree with you, HOWEVER, the mainstream media silences the shit out of ron paul... we need to make youtube the new mainstream media for ron paul

  • As a Democrat, I had respect for Dr. Paul. He is a Gentleman and presents himself with class & dignity. I lost that respect for Dr. Paul when I learned he, as an intern, watched a baby be cut from his/her mothers' belly, put in a bucket on the floor and put in a corner to die while they all watched. What prevented him from taking the baby out of that bucket and walking a few steps over to the Intensive Care Unit and saving it? He's lost my respect and will NEVER be President anyways.

  • @thenewmike2012 can you prove that sir??

  • @todds1182 Sure, watch his speech at the Iowa Straw Poll from last week. 90 seconds into the speech he describes WATCHING a live, crying baby, basically thrown in a bucket, (OMG!!!) put in a corner and left to die.

  • Why don't you vote for Romney - the author of Universal Health care, or maybe Rick Perry - the guy with the plan to force mandatory Guardisil vaccinations for young girls, the same vacs he pushed when he was Gov, that KILLED THOUSANDS of young girls in the US and around the world? Think before voting solely on an emotional reaction! Our Gov depends on individuals like you to vote on a single issue rather than looking at the whole picture.

  • @angiesiege Not trying to be rude here, but your comment to me is basically useless because it has NOTHING to do with what I posted about Dr. Paul and what happened in that hospital room when he was an intern.

  • Ron Paul is the REALEST candidate out there

  • Ron Paul is the only anti-war candidate!

  • Let's BRAKE the rotten CHAIN by voting ALL of us for Ron Paul.

A group of super powerful people run and control the media and many people on the government (Obama, Bush, Clinton=same team different party) they are EVIL and GREEDY.

They have controlled ALL the FAKE wars killing millions of innocent American soldiers and people from those countries that had die in vain.

Only with one purpose "more $ for them".

  • The evil team of the NWO, who controls the media they want to put in office someone of their TEAM that is why they DO NOT WANT US TO VOTE FOR RON PAUL.

It is TIME PEOPLE, WAKE UP!!!!! to make a CHANGE.

So, OBAMA the real CHANGE will occur when you leave the presidency of this country.

  • ron is a joke... a very bad joke

  • He's the only grown up running for president period.

  • @mrgeestacksalot No they don't. Inflation is not a tax. I don't have a PHD, never said I did. Grow up and get real.

  • @mrgeestacksalot I'm totally off? Well I guess I'll throw away my degree. Obviously you have a PHD in Economics and can school me on the different branches. The truth is that you have no idea what you are talking about. You still didn't explain how you came to think that inflation is a tax. I'm not sure why you are rambling about pizza and fish, it didn't make sense or seem to have a point. It's dumb people like you that are ruining America.

  • All signs point to Ron Paul.

  • Yes, he is !!!

  • Main Stream Media Corruption...

This is NOT the America that I know...

  • Ron Paul is the only intelligent man up there...I'm sorry that you have not opened your eyes to see how our current system is really doing such a great job haha....VOTE RON PAUL!

  • Nice, about time Mr. Paul gets some positive media time.

  • Ron Paul is hated because special interest (mega corporations who like government socialism for the rich) don't like him and see him as a threat. So the media and politicians who are in the pocket of these mega corporations that don't pay taxes and have important government positions (Goldman Sachs) are against him. They don't want Ron Paul having attention & want to implant the idea he can't win even if he is winning polls.

    Mega corporations HATE Ron Paul

  • Just read the constitution, ya fuckin morons!!!!

  • @mrgeestacksalot Firstly, inflation is an inevitability of a growing economy. Secondly, there is no such thing as an 'inflation tax ', you would have to be really quite dumb and have no knowledge of economics to believe such a stupid idea. The biggest growth in the US economy was during the 90's Clinton era which also left you with a record surplus, raising taxes was a main contributing factor. The second largest growth was during the Reagan era when he also raised taxes.

  • I dare everyone on here to go to Campaign for Liberty and read Ron Paul's on the issues. You will come back with a much better understanding of real solutions to the problems we face.

  • When talking about the TRUTH, Who's truth are we talking mine or yours. God is the only one who knows the truth. Actually He is the Way, the Truth and the life. So without God there is only supposition and the truth is just relative.

  • @timcarlG - Can I have some of what you're smoking?

  • @mrgeestacksalot Exactly Ron Paul explains that in effect taxes are going up on everyone by way of inflation. As they print more money the value of the dollar falls and it takes more dollars to buy the essentials we all need there-by lowering our buying power and standard of living. It hurts the poor and middle class the most. And you are right Ron Paul would like to downsize government and get rid of income tax altogether. It can be done an would hurt a lot less then anyone realizes.

  • @quizerry Money printing is rare these days as most currency is in digital form. Less than 10% of the U.S currency is in coin or paper form. The money supply is increased by commercial banks lending and re lending out deposits. Inflation doesn't raise taxes, that's an idiotic way of looking at it. The middle class would be most hurt if the income tax was abolished and the sales tax was raised. The rich can afford to pay the sales tax but others will struggle. Ron Paul is a joke.

  • Call it monetary stimulus through the electronic printing of money.Call it T-bills, Call it QE2, Call it whatever you want but the feds balance sheet has gone from $8 trillion to $23 trillion. That easy money (electrically printed) has mostly been given to Foreign banks and has devalued the dollar which is threatening a global outbreak of inflation. They are feeling it overseas and it is just now starting here. As inflation grows so do higher prices leaving people with less money to spend.

  • @zebbedi I did not say anything about raising sales tax or any other tax. I said we could downsize government and eliminate income tax and the IRS. Abolish the 16th amendment. FYI the 90s did not see the biggest growth. The balanced budget came from Newt Gingrich's contract with America plan in 1994. It was to balance the budget in 7 years. Because of the tech boom it brought billions in new revenues the budget was balanced by 1998. Clinton fought Newt and Newt won. The surplus came from SS.

  • When you listen to Ron Paul on the issues he makes sense because he explains things in a very common sense way. In a Hypothetical Rasmussen pole pitting Ron Paul against Obama the outcome is very even Ron Paul got 41% Obama 42%. As more and more people are introduced to Ron Paul and hear him on the issues they wake up to the real facts about the problems we face and he has real solutions.

  • Ron Paul is the only grown up on either side!

  • Remember that a small state offers no help when you need. Laissez faire doesn't care. He is psychopathic.

  • @Hirnlego999 Ron Paul wants a small federal government and to give the powers back to the states. The states handle welfare and programs for the poor already. Plus if you look at studies on people who have lifted themselves up and got off the streets you would find the Charities do a much better job by far then government because they care more they boost peoples belief in themselves and actually find people real jobs.

  • @quizerry yeah really? Is this healthcare in most contries cover everyone instead of just those with the money (or those who do not have an expensive sickness to treat). Where is the private help to the 45.000 who die each year because of no h-insurance? This is what happens when property rights have are placed higher than human rights. Ron Paul doesn't btw think that healthcare is a right. Sorry you're on your own..

  • @Hirnlego999 No one in this Country is denied care. Do you even know Ron Paul's stand on HC issues? Do you know he Volunteered free care to his patients who could not afford care. You say health care is a right but if government runs HC it forces you to give up your rights by telling you when, where, how and if that care will be distributed to you. You will give up all freedom of choice. People come here from Canada for knee surgery so they can get care asap and not wait 8 months to a year

  • @quizerry LOL: even with insurance you cannot be sure to be covered - no profit. Ever heard of pre-existing conditions? Yes, I know his stance, healthcare etc are not rights. He's a property worshipper. I got mine get your own, the wallet decides and many do not have choices at all. Thousands leave USA too because of the high costs.

  • @Hirnlego999 So you are a communist you don't believe in property rights? You believe you can work your land, build your house and if gov decides you don't deserve it they can just take it? Or it is ok for the police to be able to walk in you home and search and take what they want? If you don't like living in a free society please move to Cuba. But beware if you go to the free clinic you might have to bring your own supplies like bandages. And don't expect that free food basket to come every wk

  • @quizerry Communists? Seems to me that you RP supporters are part of a cult. No, I'm a social democrat, I understand the need for both the ego and altruism. Property worshippers rarely care about humans at all and are often the first to say that looters should be shot in riots etc. Laissez

faire is essentially indifferent and gives the power to those with the money, and that isn't the average citizen. Lawsare needed, amongst others to stop excessive pollution child labor etc.. liberty allows all

  • @Hirnlego999 "I'm a *sect*, I understand.." No, you don't understand anything. That is why you're using your ideological affiliation to illustrate your understanding. Nobody cares what label you apply to yourself. I hate to break it to you, but all the "mommy politics" in the world won't make the elite-for-centuries any less disproportionately wealthy and it forces the not-so-rich to give increasingly more of their meager take to everyone else.

  • @puckettgw I was labeled a communist just because I spoke against RP, so apparently some care about labels. Progressive taxes actually do make the differences a bit smaller. Just need to stop giving the rich taxcuts all the time and in general support politics which also benefit the little people.

  • @Hirnlego999 : eh? That sounds awfully familiar.

yep. that's what Mao's communist (and African socialist / marxist states) once said about private property & sharing the fruits of labor. That's how China starved *40 millions* to death in their collectives farms (aka, communes). The system totally works - only if you are among the few *wise* and *benevolent* (aka, delusional) elites - but for the rest, it leads to more equality - an equality of poverty, fewer choices, and lower std of living.

  • @tooltalk Those are dictatorships, I'm not for that and will not excuse any of the crimes. When it comes to Africa though the colonialist (capitalists) must be noted. When the Belgians came to congo they wiped out 10 million people. Even today there are efforts to keep Africa poor by for instance borrowing them money which they cannot possibly pay back. Read Perskins economic hitman. Stalin wanted to create a modern industrialist nation. Thedifference between capitalist and communist is not big.

  • @Hirnlego999 :

Well, there is no evidence that dictatorship is the main contributing factor to such disasters. Nehru's *socialist* India, by far the largest democracy in the world, also suffered worst forms of mass starvation all through 1960's when they finally came out asking for help from the West (green revolution). The Asian tigers (Singapore, Korea, Taiwan) lifted millions out of poverty into burgeoning middle class while under some form of authoritarians (trade).

  • @tooltalk It isn't necessarily so that dictatorships lead to that, but it allows leaders to to whatever they want without consequences so often they simply just do it.

  • @Hirnlego999 : eh? Not sure if PRC is a dictatorship (North Korea is), but, yes, even in India, they forced their collective will to starve millions upon millions to death - and your point being?

Of course, we should also take Africa's colonial experience into consideration - after all, that's why they so eagerly embraced socialism / marxism upon their independence - and failed. Lured by the lefty's delusional modern utopia (and the Soviet's military/economic aid), they spent their way

  • @Hirnlego999 : to modernity (building extravagant public infrastructure / industries they didn't need) that didn't quite exist. The West, seeing the lefties (eg, USSR) propaganda success in the 3rd world, imitated their solution - prescribing their version of *socialism* and centrally planned economics to underdeveloped (that's essentially what the lefties in US are advocating today in US). That's also where John Perkins comes in.

I won't even comment on your silly Stalkin vs. capitalist cmt

  • @tooltalk See how capitalists love China? That's what they want, easily exploitative workforce, and the communists provide. Orwell made the comparison in animal farm, can't see the difference between these two groups. Socialism to most leftists is about making sure the there is no suffering plus at the bottom plus ability to climb up.

A private system makes it harder, because it becomes a wallet issue, no money then no good school or even school at all. The ability to climb up is important.

  • @Hirnlego999 : eh?

What's there not to like Chinese bootstrapping themselves out of poverty & mass starvation and now emerging as the world's superpower - all without the lefty's top-down central planning?

China spent 30 years + millions of lives to prove that socialism engineered by a few delusional vanguard ideologues doesn't work; another 30 years to prove that only market capitalism based on private property delivers the means for individuals to uplift their lives.

  • @tooltalk I'm all ok with them getting out of poverty, but they do should not to that under fascistic rule. It is top down, for sure, as it is for many rightwing fascists. They do not have market capitalism, they have a stronger version of what USA has. Capitalists btw love China because they can exploit the workers. It's not democracy and neither is really USA. Market capitalism doesn't exist anywhere, they always become involved in government, you should know it.

  • @Hirnlego999 : eh? I think I already explained no particular political system is a necessary or only precondition for economic growth or, conversely, poverty. You don't go tell starving Indians they need to suck it up and stick with the failing socialist / democracy only b/c the lefties in the West believe it's the only right thing to do (aka, Lenin's "useful idiots" in the West).

Furthermore, I don't think you are familiar at all with the grassroot capitalism pioneered by peasants in China

  • @Hirnlego999 : where the private property rights played an important role in ending the Mao's communes and bringing the economic prosperity they now enjoy (often attributed to Deng).

China's market reform is a gradual one, still on-going - and they are going from an oppressive regime that once outright prohibited individuality and private property. "Exploitative?" - they don't plan on making toys for the West forever, they intend to move up and they know only market capitalism can deliver that.

  • @tooltalk China is an oppressive regime and our corporations are there to help them, like google and yahoo, like IBM helped the nazis.

Try as much as you want, but a lot of what China does is planned from top down. When people have power, then they will truly move up.. until they do the gov can force large quantities to work for peanuts, which they will, as they'll support a system such as that. Orwell was right in animal farm - can't differ between the communist and the capitalist in the end.

  • @Hirnlego999 : Cry all you want, but nobody, except the delusional lefties in the West, likes socialism where individuals and their private property rights are suppressed in the name of public (collective) good.

Of course, I already said the China's market reform is a gradual, but their starting point was an absolute socialistic oppressor that killed some 40 million and permitted no individualism & private property rights. Unlike most delusional lefties who seem to enjoy telling foreigners

  • @tooltalk Yes they do. People have struggled for years to have good working conditions, pensions, safety nets, anti childlabor laws all of which the psychopathic laissez faire system cares nothing about. Revolutionary socialism only supports violent revolutions (if necessary) in taking over the power, there is no doctrine like nazism to wipe out certain people. But dictators have the power, sadly.

When the Belgians came to Congo they wiped out 10 million people. How often do you hear about that?

  • @Hirnlego999 : eh?

Let me repeat again, socialism in China, Africa and Latin American all through late 1970's brought nothing but millions of unneccesary death, poverty, indebtedness, sociopolitical instability which often led to anarchy / dictatorship.

It's market capitalism that uplifted millions of oppressed farmers out of poverty and brought higher wage, better working condition, better education, higher life expectancy and all the benefits of modernity that socialism couldn't deliver.

  • @Hirnlego999 : Likewise in Africa, whereas much of Sub-Saharan Africa languished under some form of socialism / Marxism with almost zero increase in living standard through late 70's, Botswana, which embraced freer-market capitalism since its independence, enjoys one of the highest economic growth in the world.

Congo? Since when did Leopold II of Congo become the champion of free-market capitalism?

  • @tooltalk RP is a doctor who doesn't think healthcare is a right (but he believes that rights come from god). He's determined to protect those who have been born, but once you're born you're on your own (as Carlin so well put it). That's right, if your wallet is thin then he doesn't care for you. Laissez faire doesn't care about your or anyone. It's a tool for the rich to have it their way, the rest will have to bend over.

  • @Hirnlego999 : Nope, that's more of your leftist propaganda straight out of the DNC's dept of misinformation.

So why do you think free-market can't provide charity care for others? Ron Paul worked at church hospital ER making $3/hr in early his career - they never turned away anybody. He doesn't accept Medicare/MedicAid, but often treats needy patients for free.

Now use historical facts, data to support your argument, I won't respond if you keep replying back with soundbites.

  • @tooltalk So where is the charity to between half a million and 1 million homeless? Where is the charity to the 45.000 who die because they do not have health insurance? This is what happens when property has higher value than human rights...Ron Paul btw do not think that healthcare is a right, or even schooling. Sometimes Ron Paul is pragmatic though "Ron Paul suggests spending cuts could lead to riots", instead of 100 ideologue who wouldn't get anything done if he only tried to have it his way

  • @Hirnlego999 : Duh, isn't that obvious? The gov't has taken over the management of the health industry since 1970's.

Of course, in the 50's, when Ron Paul was making $3/hr working at a church hospital, there was no gov't managed care or no gov't inflation in medicine. During this period (as Ike was cutting back gov't spending), Americans enjoyed affordable housing, education, healthcare, low crime rates - all without much gov't intrusion (SS/education/housing made up less than 8% of

  • @tooltalk No they have not. Even obamacare still leaves people fighting with the insurance companies, pre-existing conditions n all. Wealthcare at its finest. Paymoreforless.USA was facing an economic boom after WWII, when most of the rest was in ruins, so little competition. However, the middle-class hasn't become richer in 3-4 decades at this time. GDP is up, so work more for less pretty much, even though taxes are lowest since 58. Capitalism used to benefit the people too...but that was then.

  • @Hirnlego999 should food, clothes, and housing be a right too? should the government pay for all that as well? well if you think they should than I'm reminded of the USSR. how about the government take 100% of everyone's paychecks and best decide what to do with it. Than you'll see a poverty only seen in Russia because its impossible for the government to budget for 300 million people no matter what it is. Or should we be responsible to take care of ourselves? RON PAUL 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @losing2 Yes, certain things should be for everyone, but not excessively so. You have to understand that poverty is not always chosen. One disease can mean complete bankruptcy and could be devastating not just personally but for entire family including kids.Societies need safety nets, and not the kind which Foxconn offers. No one is talking about 100%. But some taxes are needed for a functioning society.

  • @tooltalk Of course they built things not needed, it was a cold war, without it things would have been more sensible.

That's also why there was a lot of prick waving, building nukes a la plenty even though neither country had any use for them nor did the population benefit. I wouldn't define USSR as socialism btw, as the top had it better (some animals more equal than others) and the right to self govern (as in a documentary called "the take") wasn't there. It was utopia dreaming for few ppl.

  • jack gets fired in 2 months and counting

  • @mrgeestacksalot You are not making sense. What does Obama have to do with our conversation? I was talking about Ron Paul. Jesus, it's hard to talk to people that change the subject so frequently. My point about Paul and most of America still stands and so far you have not come up with any reasonable argument to support him.

  • @mrgeestacksalot Again, more irrational talk. I was talking about Ron Paul, not Obama. And if you ask me the constitution is an out dated and pointless document.

  • @mrgeestacksalot This is exactly what I'm talking about. America has too many uneducated sheep who will blindly follow anyone and believe anything. You don't know anything about Ron Paul, that's the truth of the matter and that is why your rebuttal was a barely coherent rambling in block capitals. You have to insult me because that's your only defence. You don't have any facts to counter me.

  • Ron Paul embodies what a human, an american and a leader truly is. He has integrity, sincerity and he is so very brave to take on this fight with U.S.

  • Yes. He is.

  • God bless this mother fucker. Wolf can bite it.

  • Love this!

  • Thank you Jack. Apparently you are the only one at CNN who realizes he exists and has a serious potential of beating Obama.

  • LOL!! John Stewart did a peice on this first so CNN is wayyy behind the curve on this one. They will go back to ignoring him soon enough because he isnt owned by the corperations.

  • This is just a normalization, yesterday they ignored him and today at least one person tells, just enough truth, to keep you out of the streets...a daily brainwashing..this just makes his defeat more 'honest', when he doesn't get the republican nomination.sadly.

  • 5 people didnt like the truth. (rare on cnn)

I bet they went on to like the next cnn video they watched too. lol.

  • Thank you Mr Cafferty

  • Wow they deserve an award for this report.

  • America recently lost some of our best troops in a God forsaken place called Afghanistan, all because Obama LIED when he PROMISED to END the Bush wars. If Ron Paul had been elected in 08, those fine soldiers would ALL be SAFE at HOME with their families right now. Ron Paul is the ONLY CANDIDATE running you can TRUST to END THE WARS and BALANCE the BUDGET. Unlike the others, he's a man of his WORD and you KNOW exactly where he STANDS on every issue. RON PAUL 2012!

  • Thanks Cafferty. People think Paul is socially liberal but thats not the case. Social liberals want to use the government as a tool through legislation to force social issues. Same with the Republicans their beliefs are just the opposite. Paul personally is socially conservative but his stance is that it's not the governments role to begin with. The USA was founded on freedom and liberty to live our lives as we choose. Let's return this nation to how the founding fathers envisioned it!!

  • If CNN wants a HUGE RATINGS BOOST, all they need to do is keep giving Ron Paul the coverage a true FRONTRUNNER DESERVES and MILLIONS of new viewers will START WATCHING every day!

  • THAT WAS AWESOME!!! People need to wake up. Ron Paul 2012

  • yes Cafferty!

  • Vote for Ron Paul or No One! We can no longer compromise our vote. Real Americans Support Ron Paul.

  • @legends25 I will not be voting for anyone but Paul. I wont vote period for any Presidential candidate if Paul is not the nominee. Just congress and thats still a crapshoot.

  • @spiritualemergency7 - Yes, we need a real debate where each candidate answers the same questions with equal time. That would quickly weed out the babies. The "mock debates" they have now are really just group interviews, and it's impossible to compare the candidates' positions.

  • @MiranUT TOTALLY AGREE, the same question should be put to all candidates.

  • @mrgeestacksalot You think Ron Paul cares about the middle class? My god, you are naive. He wants to abolish the IRS and increase your sales tax. That's called hammering the middle class and sorting out your rich buddies. People get confused because Paul doesn't associate with Corporations but they forget he's a doctor so his 'corporation' is wealthy practice owners and partnerships.

  • @zebbedi the current taxation system along with fiscal policy and montiary system IS the middle class killer. You should start studying a bit more, and see the entire picture.

  • @kardentyrell It's NOT. You don't know what you are talking about. Which fiscal policy are you talking about? Name it. A progressive tax system is the easiest on the middle class, that is why the Republicans fight so hard for their tax breaks. Ron Paul however, wants to eliminate the IRS and increase the sales tax, that is the worst case scenario for the middle class and will hit them hardest as you will no longer be taxed relative to earnings and inflation will raise your tax.

  • @zebbedi I'll happily pay an increase in sales tax if I can keep the 30+% the government takes from me yearly with income taxes alone.

  • @ACDCRD The increase in Sales tax would have to compensate for the loss of revenue from the Income tax decrease. The Government would take in the exact same amount of money but this way the richer you are the easier it will be. The prices of goods would shoot through the roof.

  • @zebbedi Sales taxes are state generating revenues, completely different than income taxes, which are federal. Ron Paul wants to eliminate the income tax, but he wouldn't have the power to raise state's sales taxes, nor does he want to as you implied in another post. As with most things, he believes it should be up to the states, not the federal government...Inflation is already here and it's only going to get worse...

  • @ACDCRD My point still stands. There will be a loss of revenue that needs to be compensated for. Localising governments to state level will only divide your country and over complicate financial issues. It's not plausible, you may as well split into 50 different countries. Your point about inflation is entirely correct and that is why I resent Ron Paul using it for political gain by claiming he can somehow offer a solution to it.

  • @zebbedi This country did fine without an income tax for a long time. Also, the income tax doesn't build roads, bridges, infrastructure, etc. The Grace Report from 1988 states that 99% of income tax dollars go towards paying interest on the national debt, nothing more. Leaving things up to the states is a constitutional positional. RP understands that printing money doesn't work. Why resent someone who wants to try something different when the current system isn't cutting it?

  • Comment removed

  • @zebbedi You're right, our govt doesn't print money. They let the privately owned Federal Reserve do it. In turn, they borrow it from them and the taxpayers pay it back. Why doesn't the government just print it? No, the current system is a slave based one. People like "you" want to continue the same policies that are destroying this country. Paul's economic views have more standing than yours, because yours (current) is a failure. Why continue something that's broken? Are you a govt plant?

  • @ACDCRD Like I said, your knowledge of how your own country's monetary system works is pathetic. The Federal Reserve does not print money, the U.S treasury does but this still is not what is responsible for the increase in money supply. Commercial banks are the cause of the credit expansion and the federal reserve is their to keep the money increase in check by reducing this supply to curb inflation or kickstart it in times of crisis. So I've just rendered your whole last post redundant.

  • ALL THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS BIASED!!! ITS NOT JUST FOX NEWS!!!

  • Cafferty destroyed a much better candidate in Hillary Clinton in '08 to the point to where I was all but screaming misogyny. He lost a lot of my respect then. Although I do agree with him on Ron Paul, I am still not to the point of forgiving him.

  • @Nivlekius -Hillary a much better candidate then Ron Paul???? Really?? LOL!

  • @danbowski40 I am referring to '08 when she was running not against Ron Paul but Barack Obama.

  • jack cafferty is the only adult on MSM. not really, just wanted to say that. napalitano and ratigan are alright.

  • cafferty is on a personal ron paul crusade. YES! beat that drum til you're fired jack, you'll be another martyr.

  • At least there's one person in CNN who is willing and able to bring about a serious issue that is unspoken by the MSM and that is the blatant censorship of Ron Paul by the MSM.

  • When Ron Paul wins we all win!

  • Ok to that one viewer that wrote in about Paul's policies being insane...ok what? Insane? Why are they insane? How in the fuck can fixing the economy be insane?

Kudos to Cafferty for telling it like it is, I bet he got shit from the higher ups praising Ron Paul like that.

  • I like this reporter for his Honesty and forthrightness & Brilliant observations.

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • The only adult PERIOD.

  • Paul is an honest player and deserve respect. But I think he is overhyped all over the internet....these people dont really understand what his anti government policies would mean if they were implemented. It would be quite scary. And remember that a lot of these teabag republicans (likeBachmann) use the same kind of retarded anti government one liners...and they are supported by corporate america. Dangerous people indeed that undermine social programs for the mass of people.

  • he almost said "the dollar is worthless"
