I remember when I was very young my dad would often play all his records, one of which had a lot of Slim Whitman songs on it. Listening to this brings back some wonderful memories I have of my sadly missed father. Thank you.

Just love Slim Whitman ...a really fine talent. Don't know why he was so much better known (and appreciated!) in Britain than in N. America. He was a favourite of my dear late Scottish Granny, who introduced me to his music.

My mother was a great fan of Slim. In my youth we listened endlesly. Then it was boaring but now it brings back old memory's. Listening to his music she escaped from her difficult life and make it easier to go on. Thanks for posting.
