  • Sorry but to me this seems like novelty for the sake of novelty. Having each member in a different location simply diminishes quality, it doesn't make it cooler in any way.

  • This is a hoax...the singer and drummer were in a band together at Ithaca College called Nozmo King...and this song was released in 1999 under that name. scum bags!

  • To the guy who said he was expecting more from the song I hear ya. I did think it was pretty awesome myself considering the novelty behind the idea. When the vocals started I was like right on we got John Mayer and Dave Matthews rolled into one and then he started that "your serious, your serious, your serious" intentions and that kinda blew it for me. That said it was still a cool video and everyone involved is very talented.

  • Pretty cool, but if I understand this correctly, each member is downloading "Clips" that the other band members have recorded, and then all of the clips are played together like multi-track recording. Is this correct?

    What i'm looking for is a way to have practice live through the Internet. Not recordings of each members parts. My band members are each 75 miles away. Or is that what you are doing? Perhaps the Internet has too much latency for this to be possible. Anyone?

  • Yes that is correct- we each record our part separate. What we didn't know then is that if we didn;t all use the same format when recording, the timing eventually goes out. In my other virtual band- we all play to the same mp3.

  • I'm assuming each player is live over the Internet, right?

    I thought of this concept many years ago, but have never seen anyone do it. I'm currently playing in an 80s rock band. I live 75 miles away from practice, and the singer lives 50. I'd love to find a way to hookup the audio out from my keyboards to feed live over the Internet, and listen to live audio from other band members. If such software/hardware exists for this, please tell me about it. Thanks. Nate
